08/05/2026: We stopped by for lunch today: a very nice restaurant, self-service style. The dishes were very generous and delicious, in keeping with traditional Alsatian cuisine. A very enjoyable experience!

26/04/2026: We took a quick lunch break at this restaurant during our motorcycle ride; the munstiflette was pretty good! As for the side salad, a few leaves were practically fighting for space in the small bowl. They could be more generous with the salad!

06/03/2026: Same as previous comment. We arrived after 7 pm, and the doors were closed despite the online opening hours information. You can leave a message by phone, but there's no information regarding the temporary or (probably, unfortunately) permanent closure of this establishment...

23/02/2026: Monday, February 23, 2026. After checking the opening hours online, we confidently set off. Upon arrival, the door was closed and the sign was off (7:15 PM). The hours clearly displayed on the door indicated they were open Monday evenings... So, 30 km wasted... Therefore, I have no opinion on the dining room, the pizza, or the service. Please keep your opening hours up to date.

11/05/2026: Very disappointed. The food was okay, but the service was appalling. The wait was long, and while the waitress was friendly, she wasn't competent enough: she took our order without giving us the menus, and then she asked us to order dessert before our main course had even arrived... an hour's wait for the main course after our starter! The waitress was abrupt and nearly dropped our wine glasses, and the dessert arrived with the decoration shifted to the edge of the plate. It's a real shame for the kitchen staff, as the poor service ruins all their hard work.

22/02/2026: Nothing like traditional Alsatian sauerkraut... All the meats are vacuum-cooked and cut to order! The cabbage is bland and doesn't taste like the meats cooked together at all. For €26 a plate, run away! You can find this kind of food in supermarkets! Very, very disappointed... This restaurant owner clearly lacks respect for all of Alsace and is apparently completely unscrupulous. My advice: keep walking, you'll certainly find better elsewhere. Have a good day everyone...

09/06/2026: I loved our many visits to this café. With a few friends, it's practically a tradition to come here and sip on a perfectly made cocktail. A special shout-out to a waitress: Laudia, your service is second to none, and your jokes are always great. Keep it up!

02/04/2026: Great place, the food is good, quick, and reasonably priced; however, for the past month and a half, they have stopped accepting restaurant vouchers, whereas I have been coming for three years and there has never been this type of problem.

06/05/2026: I went on Sunday and ordered two taco meals and two hamburgers. I got home and realized I had tacos and hamburgers but no potatoes. I paid 39 euros for this. Then, while I was eating, my friend and I found raw chicken in the tacos. The chicken hamburgers were just as bad; it tasted like frozen meat that had been quickly thrown into the fryer and taken out raw.

03/02/2026: Thank you to the whole team! On Sunday we had a cold buffet featuring both land and sea dishes for 26 people... all the guests were delighted and thoroughly enjoyed themselves... Well done! Keep up the good work!

19/01/2026: I came to buy some pâté en croûte this morning, January 19th. The saleswoman wasn't friendly at all. I asked if it was fresh, and she haughtily told me it was from this morning. Once again, I've been ripped off. It's a disaster; it's not the first time. The crust smells musty, old, and soggy. Luckily, the saleswoman in the JAUSS van at the covered market on Thursdays is very friendly and always has fresh products.

15/05/2026: Super tiramisu, very good beers on offer, a very good Pinot Noir, traditional cuisine, well done!

09/05/2026: The sauerkraut was good, however, while there were five meats listed, only four were actually served, including two smoked bacons and one unsmoked one. The ham hock was good, but the Munster sauce was like soup, too runny.

07/06/2026: I've been to this establishment several times before, and frankly, it's always been excellent. However, last night was a complete disaster. We waited almost two hours before our order was even taken. Since my mother is diabetic, this wait was particularly difficult. The waitress was very kind, pleasant, and understanding, but she was completely overwhelmed. She was alone, managing both the terrace and the interior of the restaurant, which is incredibly difficult to handle. When our food finally arrived, the disappointment continued: the meals were cold, and the meat was far too overcooked. Frankly, I'm at a loss for words; the quality was so poor this time. I do want to acknowledge the restaurant's gesture of goodwill in offering us complimentary drinks, which was much appreciated. I sincerely hope this bad experience will remain a one-off, but there are clearly some areas that need improvement.

06/06/2026: I went there last night after it reopened following renovations. The welcome, service, and food were top-notch, nothing to complain about. The new owner has brightened up the dining room, and the terrace too; they've been given a thorough cleaning, and it shows! I'll be back!
