12/05/2026: We went there for lunch today, ordering takeout. When we got home, we were completely disappointed.
The meat had a suspicious, sour smell, very little filling, and the bread was hard and dry.
There was no one in the restaurant, and the spit was almost empty, probably the one from the day before that hadn't been properly stored.
We threw everything in the bin.
My advice: if you don't want to get sick, don't go there at all!!!
It's changed a lot compared to a few years ago.
28/03/2026: Too greasy, not much of a portion, the fries were edible and we all got sick after eating there, I don't recommend it at all, and on top of that, the children running around everywhere, even climbing on the cars.

23/08/2024: Dismissive manager/owner with rude attitude. We didn’t even get to eat here. I had made a reservation several weeks in advance through The Fork for my husband and our elderly mothers and had driven in from our hotel 20 minutes away. When we arrived on time, we were rudely turned away with a shrug. The manager/owner simply showed me his mobile phone and said there was no reservation and in any event they were full, even though inside there were several empty tables and outside a few as well. In spite of showing him my phone which had both the confirmation and a reminder email from The Fork, stating the date and time, he just kept shrugging. So we went away. But looking at some of the reviews, it did us a favour as we found another restaurant close by, where we were welcomed with open arms and had both exceptional service and food.

25/09/2024: It’s a shame to give this restaurant three stars because the cuisine and presentation were both solid. I had the foie gras as a starter and the beef tartare as a main. My wife got the salmon with a side salad, and it came with mashed potatoes. We ordered a grand cru Riesling which was excellent. While the menu is limited, the restaurant offers an extensive although pricey wine list. The problem came when we were finished with the meal we wanted desserts and champagne but we sat for over thirty minutes with completely empty glasses - no water or wine - while being intentionally ignored by our server. This wasn’t a case of picky Americans in a rush. We were happy to linger but it was overly obvious they were short staffed or didn’t care. It ruined what could have been a perfect evening. Now we know why this place gets 4 stars and not more.
25/09/2024: I deeply feel suspicious of how the Michelin judges rate this restaurant as Michelin Guide... Perhaps Michelin should re-select more professional judges to rate this restaurant! For anyone who wants to try this restaurant, I suggest that you should go to other restaurants nearby.
Croque Jeune Homme, the taste is pretty good, but one thing that bothers me was the bread was so burnt... I understand that you cooked this with butter; however, as a professional chef, you should know that high heat would burnt the bread, even though you wanna aim for the crunchiness.
Angus Beef Ribeye, the worst beef dish we've ever had, compare to any restaurants in France, Canada, US, & even Hong Kong! I have no idea who the hell rate this restaurant as one of the Michelin Guide restaurants?! This dish is 55€ per person. We left 1/3 of chewy tendon & overcooked beef on the brass plate & plates, which my mom & I couldn't able to eat. It's like chewing a rubber band. I can’t believe I’ve spent 110€ on this lousy dish!!!
Message for Chef Jean Kurtz, although I've learned French cooking in US & have tried many top decent French restaurants. Besides a long wait for the dishes, your dishes are far worse than what I was expected! We are NOT the only customers complained to your two servers, who were ONLY busy serving a big party downstairs & ignored the rest of the customers (upstairs) in your restaurant! Compare to other restaurants who were serving dinner on a Wednesday evening, your restaurant wasn't as packed or busy as other restaurants. It’s a shame that your culinary skills seemed going down the hill.

12/09/2024: Très déçus de jour en jour par le service et la qualité des plats de ce restaurant. On décide à notre place du dessert prétextant que ce qui a été choisi n était
plus disponible. Et ce des le 1er soir. Le lendemain,attente de 30 minutes pour nous servir 2 simples verres de crémant,dessert modifié alors que servi à une autre table et ce remplacé à chaque fois par 3 boucles de glace râpées dans un bol!
Le 3 ème soir, nous avons terminé le plat principal vers 23h alors que nous étions à table dès 20 h. Nous avons bien sûr décliné le dessert si tant est qu on nous en aurait encore proposé un!
Le personnel de salle s est confondu en excuses mais le problème doit se trouver ailleurs. Dommage je déconseille à cause de ce service plus que déplorable.
28/08/2024: Tres bon restaurant avec une formule du marché intéressante , dommage tartare avait pas mal de nerfs qui rendait le plat désagréable.

18/09/2024: We sat down and waited about ten minutes for the server. Not seeing him arrive, I went to the counter to ask him if I could leave my order with him or if he would come to the table to pick it up and all that kindly and politely. His feedback was very prompt, “I have other customers to serve!” All this without having raised your head and in a relatively dry tone. Seeing his reaction, we left and were greeted further down very kindly.
10/09/2024: Very busy restaurant with very friendly staff. Tarte flambée was good, as usual in the area there are hardly any vegetarian dishes on the menu. Bacon or similar can easily be left out upon request. Dogs are welcome and are given some water without asking. Recommendation!

Shameful service! If you don't like your job, think about retraining!!! We have the impression that the sooner we left, the better off the waitresses were. During the meal we wanted some wine but given the lack of participation and attention from the incapable waitresses we had time to get rid of it (1/ Only 3 could be eaten out of the totality of 2 literally inedible dishes) A pasty calzone like chewing gum and we don't talk about its filling or even less about the burata (even in supermarkets it is not as powdery and bad)🙄. The Milanese escalope which has probably been hanging around for a while, not to mention the pasta and a bland sauce like I've never seen before. We are going to pay not even an ounce of interest wondering if it was or other NOTHING!!!! However, the setting is magnificent and the boss adorable. Fortunately his intervention at the time of our departure took place. Attentive, kind and humorous boss. As a restaurant executive I would be ashamed to have such service and cuisine like that (I wonder what they eat during the staff meal before service) What a shame for his boss who honestly deserves everyone to ride on roulettes given his location and his person himself but his team does not give him any credit.
Ps: the 3 stars are only for the support of this poor boss who deserves it for himself.

07/08/2024: Good food - we had pasta dishes - at resonable price. We visited on a very busy evening, but the service was good. We really appreciated the visit and can only recommend this restaurant. Very central, but not old town centre busy:)
