24/06/2026: I walked in with a 4-year-old who needed to use the bathroom urgently and was peremptorily shooed away, without the opportunity to explain that my wife and other child were outside and wanted to sit down. Expert-level rudeness. Luckily, Alsace is full of other decent people.

31/05/2026: Truly inconsistent: several times I decided against going because of the unfriendly welcome, and my only visit to their terrace was out of desperation. I finally went one Sunday evening because the dining room was quiet and I needed to work. I was pleasantly surprised: an original and flavorful cocktail, a generous and tasty main course, quick service, and a pleasant, friendly (and slightly older) waitress who was attentive to my feedback. The prices are typical of Colmar, let's say. I really felt like I was in that little neighborhood brasserie you love to go to. I'll go back to confirm this impression and give it the final star.

24/05/2026: A brasserie where it's lovely to grab a table on the large summer terrace. The cuisine is excellent and varied. Aurélien, the very friendly waiter, serves you with kindness, warmth, and good humor, knowing that it must have been a long and tiring Pentecost Sunday, judging by the crowds that evening. Thank you to him, and have a wonderful season!

30/01/2026: We had a good meal. The service was a bit impersonal. But we certainly wouldn't have come if Pascal Jenny hadn't been playing the piano! What a joy to hear him again in this magical place, which has lost some of its soul with his absence. If only he could come back more often. We could listen to him for hours. Just one small detail: it's a shame about the stickers on such a beautiful piano.

27/01/2026: There was a time when we could have spoken of it as a Mulhouse institution, a place where the world's elite came to meet. Today, with a maximum of ten customers per evening on weekdays, mostly from the hotel, the bar, with its modest selection and high prices, no longer attracts anyone.

30/06/2026: The service was excellent and fast; the young man who served us was very friendly and helped us with the menu since he spoke Spanish, which was much appreciated. Everything we tried was delicious. We liked the atmosphere. I recommend it.

23/06/2026: Really quite mediocre. The service was more than average (except for the very friendly young waiter). The food was passable: a tasteless veggie burger with bland potatoes and terrible fries (and there were a lot of potatoes!). Expensive for what it is, really. You can tell the restaurant is aiming for maximum customer appeal with minimal effort. A perfect tourist trap.

22/04/2026: The welcome was extremely cold, unpleasant, and rude. In the end, we didn't stay to eat because it was so unpleasant. I absolutely do not recommend it!! Avoid it at all costs, given their lack of friendliness.

02/06/2026: The couscous was as good as ever, the kebabs were excellent. The staff were pleasant.

14/05/2026: Avoid this place. The value for money is simply outrageous. I ordered a doner kebab with fries to take away, and the amount of meat on the plate was ridiculous. Any other kebab shop would give you at least twice that amount. And with that meager meat, you get a tiny portion of fries to go with it, all for €17.50, yes, €17.50. That said, the meat itself was very good, but for that price, it's unacceptable.

30/06/2026: Two years later…it's incredibly hot and the milkshake machine isn't working again, plus there's no sign at the drive-thru entrance! As a result, we have to wait over 15 minutes to get out 😩😤

29/06/2026: I've never seen such a disgusting McDonald's. When I arrived (it was lunchtime on a weekday, not yet school holidays), all the bins were overflowing. The tables were filthy; not a single one was clean, either inside or outside. And the floor? Don't even get me started: disgusting everywhere, that's the only word for it. Puddles of drinks... My father-in-law went to the restroom and told me it was dirty. I'd rather wash my hands in my car. In any case, I won't be going back. It's appalling; I don't even want to imagine what the kitchens are like.

15/05/2026: The bedding was very average and the room could use a refresh. That said, it was clean. We were on half-board. The soup was delicious and very filling. But even after a long hike, the meal was far too heavy: a starter after the soup, then a large sauerkraut, then a tart. The sauerkraut was frankly a disaster, with undercooked potatoes in particular. A shame. They should have made less, but better.

11/05/2026: Regarding the restaurant only: very disappointing compared to a few years ago in terms of the quality of the food offered...is it because it wasn't peak winter or summer season? We had lunch on a Saturday in May (the weekend of May 8th) with beautiful weather, but the dining room was completely empty between 12:00 and 1:30 pm. The dish (onion tart) was clearly not fresh, poorly reheated in the microwave, with industrial tomato sauce covering the fleischnakas, and the blueberry tart was also not fresh...with high prices, and to top it all off! Upon checking, the bill showed three errors in the prices, all in their favor. The explanation given: "I haven't had time to change the prices on the menu"...yeah, right...! We demanded a refund. We certainly won't be going back, even though we had fond memories of it and were happy to return...but that was before...
