21/06/2026: I rarely leave bad reviews, but this is truly unbearable bad faith!
Let me explain: I ordered an eggplant parmigiana, which, according to the traditional recipe, is meatless. A pretty dish arrived, accompanied by a bowl of bagged salad drowning in bottled salad dressing (yuck! For a restaurant, that's fine if you want to serve it at home, but not in a restaurant, damn it!). I tasted the dish; the first bite was okay, but the second bite had ground meat... Something was definitely wrong. We called the waiter over, and that's when the blatant bad faith began. We told him (even though all the other dishes on the menu were clearly described) that it wasn't specified that the eggplant parmigiana contained ground meat. And what did he say?! Well, you should have asked if there was meat in it or not!
But in fact, there was no need to ask that, since the dish, according to the original recipe, is meatless. At first, he told us they'd always made this dish with meat, but a few minutes later he said they'd recently changed it because customers were complaining there wasn't any meat. Isn't that just plain dishonest?! Then he said, "Well, what do we do? We'll have to pay for the dish anyway." Very professional question and reaction. After further discussion about the original recipe and the menu, and about him telling us he wouldn't charge us for the dish and that we should order something else...
So I ordered a Caprese salad (it's a tomato salad, I emphasize TOMATOES, with mozzarella, a drizzle of olive oil, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar). A little while later, a cherry tomato salad arrived—yes, you read that right, CHERRY TOMATOES—with mozzarella, a bed of arugula, oil, and balsamic vinegar. I should mention that cherry tomatoes are €0.99 for 250g, while this salad cost €13. I was really expecting real tomatoes, like you'd get in a tomato and mozzarella salad! In short, a very bad experience for me. Thankfully, I won't be back.

09/06/2026: Our first vacation in almost 10 years, we chose this hotel on the Alsace Wine Route, and despite the weather, we loved the area.
As for the hotel itself, with its regional decor, we can only echo the rave reviews: a warm welcome, a cozy room with a view of the vineyards and Haut-Kœnigsberg.
The home-style cooking was perfect. Congratulations to both the chefs and the attentive waiters. Having returned two days ago, we've already recommended this hotel to two other families.
07/06/2026: A very nice hotel with a view of Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle from the room. The room was lovely and very clean, the set menu was excellent, and the breakfast was generous. The staff were professional and approachable. The owner was friendly and took the time to visit each table and chat with the guests. We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Highly recommended.

23/03/2026: We've been ordering from here for years, never disappointed!
I'm leaving a review today (of course they deserve one every time), because I was in a hurry, and they managed to get me three custom pizzas in under 10 minutes, despite how busy it was tonight.
With all that, I just had to take the time to leave a review to thank them for their reliability over the years 🤝
And the pizzas were generously topped, the crust was excellent, well done! 🤝💪🙏

24/04/2026: I don't understand why the cleaning is done on the glass directly above the food, and why the food isn't removed and replaced after cleaning. All the dirt falls back onto the food. I think you need to review this, otherwise I will adjust the dosage.

10/04/2026: We often go there as a family for breakfast and we've always been warmly welcomed. The waiters/waitresses are friendly and smiling, and all the dishes we've tried so far have been delicious. I highly recommend it!

05/06/2026: I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. I ordered a kebab with just onions, and the waitress had the nerve to look up at me with a disapproving expression. It's unbelievable. I asked her if there was a problem, and she said, "I've never had someone order that; it's ridiculous."
So she took my order, and I had to wait 19 minutes for my kebab even though there wasn't a single other customer. She just told me, "I'm heating the meat." She was sitting on her phone at the moment. I was clearly bothering her, and on top of that, she doesn't even speak French well; we couldn't understand a thing. And when I received my order, instead of mayonnaise, it was white sauce and cold pieces of meat. In short, definitely avoid it. To top it all off, she asked me to leave a review on Google.
04/04/2026: Really great kebab. The ingredients are fresh, the staff very attentive, and the kitchens you can see are clean. I highly recommend it.

25/05/2026: Forget Italians, pasta topped with pesto and arrabbiata sauce is a disgusting and dry spaghetti. I would recommend clear pasta, lasagna, overcooked pasta such as penne with Gorgonzola and carbonara which have the same creamy taste. Let's skip the pizzas.

We were having a great evening when suddenly, the bartender (with his short black hair) and the "owner" launched a gratuitous attack because we were talking "too loudly"!!!! There were six of us in the bar, the other customers were on the terrace! Ladies and gentlemen, if you can't stand happy customers, find another job!!!!

05/06/2026: There are signs everywhere pointing you towards this restaurant, and when you arrive at 7:00 PM, it's open, but the owner greets you and tells you they don't serve food in the evening! Some restaurant!
21/03/2026: For a 2-year-old, we ordered a small portion of spaghetti with butter. We had to ask for more oil because it was served straight from the pot, so it was all stuck together and tasteless. It cost €12, the same price as a large children's portion with Bolognese sauce. There was no table service; I had to get my own food from their basket.
As for the coffee service: they bring it on a tray, but the tray is simply placed on the table and left there, essentially "serve yourself."
The owner (we assume) seemed bothered by our presence.
The wine was good, and our cordon bleu was decent.
In short, I don't recommend it.

28/12/2025: Ultimately, calling this a canteen is almost unfair… to canteens in general.
Because a canteen, at least, owns up to what it is. Here, we're dealing with a canteen that fancies itself a fine dining establishment, with gourmet prices and an ambition clearly inspired by Michelin stars—an ambition unfortunately far beyond its actual capabilities.
The waitress seems to want to play in the high-end league: haughty posture, calculated distance, superior airs.
The problem is that neither the food, nor the service, nor the overall experience lives up to it.
By trying so hard to rub shoulders with stars without actually being up to the task, they end up making a fool of themselves.
On the plate: utter banality. Nothing wrong, nothing successful, nothing memorable.
But rest assured, the bill is ambitious. In fact, it's the only truly premium aspect of the experience 🍾
The social experience deserves a special mention: coldness, discomfort, a persistent feeling of being a nuisance. We're not here for dinner; we're witnessing a demonstration of how not to entertain.
A useful comparison: Cora's cafeteria is better, costs less, and, most importantly, doesn't pretend to be something it's not!
In short: canteen-style dining, awkwardness on the plate, prestige only on the bill.
