07/04/2026: We came for dinner on Saturday evening; the spaetzle gratin and the tarte flambée were delicious, there was hardly any wait, the waitress was very friendly, and the prices are very reasonable for homemade food.

02/02/2026: What a shame! The waitress was very friendly and smiling, the portions were huge, and the price was reasonable... but it was tasteless. The meat was processed, and my dish (ham hock on sauerkraut) was cold and not very tasty (they reheated it at my request, thank you). Why not reduce the quantity and increase the quality? We only ordered one dish.

30/01/2026: We had a good meal. The service was a bit impersonal. But we certainly wouldn't have come if Pascal Jenny hadn't been playing the piano! What a joy to hear him again in this magical place, which has lost some of its soul with his absence. If only he could come back more often. We could listen to him for hours. Just one small detail: it's a shame about the stickers on such a beautiful piano.

27/01/2026: There was a time when we could have spoken of it as a Mulhouse institution, a place where the world's elite came to meet. Today, with a maximum of ten customers per evening on weekdays, mostly from the hotel, the bar, with its modest selection and high prices, no longer attracts anyone.

15/05/2026: The bedding was very average and the room could use a refresh. That said, it was clean. We were on half-board. The soup was delicious and very filling. But even after a long hike, the meal was far too heavy: a starter after the soup, then a large sauerkraut, then a tart. The sauerkraut was frankly a disaster, with undercooked potatoes in particular. A shame. They should have made less, but better.

11/05/2026: Regarding the restaurant only: very disappointing compared to a few years ago in terms of the quality of the food offered...is it because it wasn't peak winter or summer season? We had lunch on a Saturday in May (the weekend of May 8th) with beautiful weather, but the dining room was completely empty between 12:00 and 1:30 pm. The dish (onion tart) was clearly not fresh, poorly reheated in the microwave, with industrial tomato sauce covering the fleischnakas, and the blueberry tart was also not fresh...with high prices, and to top it all off! Upon checking, the bill showed three errors in the prices, all in their favor. The explanation given: "I haven't had time to change the prices on the menu"...yeah, right...! We demanded a refund. We certainly won't be going back, even though we had fond memories of it and were happy to return...but that was before...

19/05/2026: Does not honour promos (e.g the mandalorian meals). Tables were not clean, and staff were unhelpful.

19/05/2026: A little health check would do them good, 2 hours after eating there I was hit with a bad stomach ache, I thought it would pass, I ate too much… but the cramps lasted 5 days… for me it was the last time at Burger King Colmar.

26/04/2026: Excellent Chinese restaurant! Welcoming and friendly. They also offer Thai and Japanese dishes. A go-to spot for sushi, sashimi...and more! We've been going there for years; it's like having dinner at a friend's house.

12/12/2025: The bread is good (but not always), the saleswomen are helpful, but it takes forever, especially the light brown-haired woman with blue eyes; you can tell she's not paid by the piece.

11/12/2025: We visited this place just before it closed for New Year's Eve. The desserts were good, nothing particularly amazing, but good. Going there at the end of the day probably isn't the best for freshness, but we made do.

02/04/2026: One-night tourist stay One renovated room… a mix-up between the reservation and the assigned room (I requested a double bed but was given two singles). The manager was very professional and found a solution. Excellent, quiet room… simply very, very good.

26/04/2026: Amazing! We arrived on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon at 4:45 pm, the terrace was almost empty, and a charming lady greeted us, only to tell us they couldn't accommodate us because there was too long a wait for ice cream! We moved on and were welcomed at Le Petit Rangen in Thann. Delicious ice cream on a lovely terrace. Yes, some people do have a knack for business! 🫠

19/04/2026: I first came a few weeks ago, and the welcome was unpleasant: the staff were unfriendly. The waitress seemed annoyed, pacing around the room grumbling and muttering, which clearly gave the impression that she wasn't comfortable with customer service. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated, supposedly because there were no tables available on the terrace, even though several tables were there, just with the chairs still on them at the back. Being someone who always gives the benefit of the doubt, I thought that perhaps the circumstances were unusual that day. Since I was in the area again yesterday, I decided to give it another try. I returned with my daughter, and unfortunately, the experience was the same: a 10-minute wait to be seated, then another 20 minutes before someone even came to take our order. When the waiter finally arrived, I simply asked for a different flavor of ice cream. I was met with a curt reply: "It's written on the menu, we don't do that when it's busy." A rather unpleasant response for such a simple request. We then waited another 10 minutes before being served. As we were leaving, out of habit (being a former waitress), I cleared the table. I received neither a smile nor a thank you in return. A young, red-haired waitress, visibly annoyed, even brushed past us while grumbling. Considering the prices, they really need to review their customer service and staff stress management, as it falls far short of expectations. We won't be returning, and I've shared my experience on my social media.

08/02/2026: Welcoming place, large car park a bit bumpy but manageable if you drive slowly, nice bar and dance floor, cool staff, bouncer for security, themed evenings, covered smoking terrace, clean toilets, everything you need for a great night out 👍

15/01/2026: We were there for New Year's. Beautiful decorations, lovely atmosphere, but really too expensive; for 10 euros more, the Ribeauville casino offers more magic and services.

02/04/2026: The bread is good, but there's a real problem with organization, or more likely, a lack of staff. You very often have to wait 15 minutes, or even 30 minutes, to be served.

24/01/2026: We arrived from our trip hungry and were looking for a place to eat. Since it was in front of one of the main squares on Christmas Day and seemed like an inviting place, we went in to ask for information. We were judged for having luggage and treated rudely. If we wanted to read the menu, they told us to go outside to read the sign and turned their backs on us. Because of the way we were received, we chose another place for our Christmas dinner. I do not recommend it! Responding to the owner's comment, it wasn't four suitcases, it was just one small one and one larger one belonging to my friend. The nearby restaurants welcomed us very well. The language barrier is the worst excuse to use and is xenophobic, since I speak both languages ​​mentioned as I live in France, although with a more pronounced accent as it's not my first language. At no point was a waiting time mentioned; it's just an excuse to mask the disdain of the service, which was the real reason we chose not to stay.

28/04/2026: Terrible staff, filthy place. The children's play area is unclean, and on top of that, they do everything they can to prevent your children from having fun. For example, in winter, they don't turn on the heating, so it's freezing cold inside. As soon as it gets warm, there's no ventilation, making it stifling for the children. If you want to spend your McDonald's points, run away! It's impossible to get a real full meal with McDonald's points; the choices are deliberately limited so they give you the bare minimum. What a great way to reward loyalty at McDonald's! We come every day, and when we have enough points, we can't even get a regular Coke from the points meals. Worst McDonald's in France. Worst management in France.
