02/05/2026: A sumptuous meal! This was our second date at this magnificent place. The welcome and service are always exceptional (quick and lovely), and what a place it is (the pink LEDs are gorgeous!). We were even lucky enough to be seated at the same table as on our first date. 21/05/2026: If you are near Vouvray, please treat yourself and visit Le Table de Jopseph. We were a table of four and had the most amazing experience. The staff was most accommodating even with our limited French. Whatever the menu contains, the chef is performing magic in the kitchen. Typically French the menu was one price for all three courses. We had duck breat, sea bass, and veal. Desert was a rhubarb tart for me and fruit salad for the others. If you can, dine outside in the garden with birds singing and the fountain. You will not be disappointed.

13/04/2026: Simple and delicious cuisine, La Table de Joseph is a must-try on the banks of the Loire in Rochecorbon. The dining room is small but welcoming; it's a shame it was too early to eat on the terrace. The excellent service and superb wines made this lunch a real treat.

28/06/2026: I give it 5 stars overall, but 4 for the details. This 2-star hotel is very well managed. The welcome is warm. The breakfast is all-you-can-eat; it's just missing eggs and bacon, otherwise it's perfect. The rooms are well-equipped, but air conditioning is really lacking. The bedding is very comfortable, the bathrooms are functional, and the rooms are genuinely clean. The location is close to the train station, 100 meters from the CGR cinema, and 600 meters from the city center. The only drawback is the overlooking view from the building opposite the hotel for the rooms facing the street. Honestly, if you're passing through Tours for a few days, don't hesitate; you can book with complete confidence.

30/07/2026: We came to El Cafecito yesterday afternoon to try the coffee on the recommendation of friends, and we were very disappointed… The coffee was very strong, with a burnt taste… The pastries, however, were delicious! Another downside: the person behind the counter was very unpleasant, barely a hello, no smile, and swearing… It's a shame, we'd heard it was a Tours coffee institution. We'll see about coming back…

26/07/2026: It's a shame the service doesn't live up to the quality of the products. The coffee was very good, but the waitress was unfriendly and rarely smiled. Admittedly, the job is difficult, especially on busy days, but these qualities are essential for building customer loyalty.

25/07/2026: A restaurant with a very idyllic outdoor setting. The tables are shaded, the decor is tasteful, and the owners are lovely and accommodating. We had a wonderful time as a family, and the children enjoyed the games (swing, pétanque court, darts) while we finished our meal. The hardest part was leaving! 😅

02/07/2026: Passing through Amboise today, we stopped at this little restaurant. We had a very good meal for a very reasonable price. It was a buffet of starters, main courses, and desserts. The starter buffet was simple but very good (excellent homemade potato salad), no endless menu, just two choices of main courses which guaranteed homemade food, and the same for dessert. In short, exactly what you look for in a restaurant: simple but good! Not to mention the kindness of the lady who greeted and served us, who clearly cared about her guests' well-being! We will gladly return on our next visit.
