16/05/2026: Lost in the middle of nowhere, my friends and I stumbled upon a restaurant that, at first glance, looked a bit run-down. But once inside, it was welcoming, with a lovely waiter who always had a smile on his face. The dishes on the menu were very good. Quality meat, and fish too. And the homemade mayonnaise was to die for. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're ever lost on the road.

31/05/2026: Very good. High-quality, innovative yet reasonably priced cuisine, friendly and welcoming service, and very fair prices. If there's one drawback, it's the dining room, which is very simply decorated and a bit noisy when busy.

12/06/2026: There were five of us (regulars at the region's excellent restaurants) who came to dinner at AT'ABLE (some from Tours) specifically to enjoy their Touraine-style beuchelle, which we had already loved: another fantastic dish tonight! But also a surprising and incredibly delicious starter: profiteroles with snails, simply magnificent! The wines (two Bordeaux vintages) perfectly complemented the food, as did the desserts. Everything was perfect, a wonderful evening, a place to recommend... especially to the locals of Chinon who seem to be unaware of this restaurant, which they consider merely "a hotel restaurant" (sic). Whereas, in my opinion, and after several comparative tastings, At'able is THE best restaurant in Chinon. And despite what those who criticize digital tablets, which here replace paper menus and cards, might say, my guests unanimously agree with me: it's an excellent way to see the visuals and ingredients of each cocktail, dish, etc. Bravo, and a huge thank you for the wonderful time we spent at your establishment. 10/06/2026: The service was friendly and on par. The interior was quite nice. The ordering process was quite interesting, via an I-pad. We enjoyed that process/ The vegetables/sides we received were quite good however the beef filets were a bit tough and chewy. That was a disappointment.

08/06/2026: I've been in Tours for three years and I've never tasted such a good kebab! The meat was excellent; for a kebab, I found it incredible! And I'll definitely be back. Honestly, well done to the number ones!

07/06/2026: The best Greek food of my life! There's meat in the bread, I'm giving it 5 stars even if it's a bit too salty, and hopefully they'll accept restaurant vouchers sooner rather than later.

13/05/2026: Actually, I'm still in the restaurant, haha, but I know the dessert is going to be fabulous. Everything is superb: modern yet unpretentious decor, efficient and straightforward service, and excellent cuisine at a very reasonable price. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the combinations were truly logical and delicious, and the menu changes according to seasonal produce, which is treated with respect and not altered. 13/05/2026: Minimalist portions: the langoustine appetizer, priced at over 16 euros, consisted of just one langoustine and a few crumbs, presented with a nice garnish, and the same minimalism applied to the main course. In short, you shouldn't be hungry to eat there.

07/06/2026: Angelo restaurant will delight lovers of Italian cuisine. I especially loved the tiramisu, which was absolutely divine! The service was perfect and always with a smile. I'll be back!

14/05/2026: We visited twice; the first time to enjoy the cheese board and the "discovery" board of white wines, the second time for the mixed board and a rosé and orange wine (recommended by the waiter who found the perfect pairing for our tastes). We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and received a very warm welcome (as did our dog).

18/05/2026: After an hour's wait without any explanation, despite several requests, the table behind us, which had just arrived, was served before us and other families who were waiting. We told them we were going to pay for our drinks and leave. We were told they were short-staffed in the kitchen. The manager, without an apology, told us, in an insolent and rude manner, "You should do it yourselves." What a lack of professionalism! A simple "Sorry, we're confused, I'll take care of your table right away..."—six covers, no less—might have made us wait a little longer... oh well! But they won't be seeing us again! Another major negative point: only one parking space for this large establishment, which also boasts a large terrace.

05/04/2026: Lunch with a set menu (main course + dessert) is available. The dishes are tastefully presented on beautiful plates, and the floral touch adds a lovely touch. The service is pleasant, with an all-female kitchen team. The restaurant also offers beers, wines, and spirits.

31/03/2026: I highly recommend the hand-cut steak tartare; it's absolutely divine! I didn't have a beer as an aperitif (it was a business lunch), even though the selection and quality of beers are incredible. I asked for water and got my own carafe of water all to myself 😉 The service was impeccable, with a touch of humor that made for a wonderful experience. I'll be back in September, as I won't be in the area at the moment.

18/03/2026: I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Clos des Roses. Audrey and Laurent are incredibly welcoming and warm. I will cherish the memories of my stay. The place has a beautiful soul, embodied by the owners themselves. And to top it all off, the cocktails, the meal, and the breakfast were all delicious. Thank you both! ☺️

10/01/2026: The restaurant has been sold, what a shame! It was a real gem in the area, offering excellent value for money and a warm welcome! We'll miss Armelle and Julien! The bar was set high :) Let's hope whoever takes over will live up to it.

30/12/2025: I stayed here last May with my family on a trip through France and Germany. This hotel was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. However my favorite part of this town were the cats. We had been in France for 3-4 days and I did not see any cats. I missed mine back home very much. When we arrived late at night there were several near the shops and hotel.

13/11/2025: Comfortable hotel in the heart of the city. The castle is a 5-minute walk away. Spacious and comfortable room. Highly recommended!

22/03/2026: The Auberge de Crissay is an excellent place to stay; everything is perfect. The welcome, the service, and the various set menus offered are all top-notch. Lunch is of very high quality, featuring local products, and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely return and recommend it without hesitation.

26/05/2026: A pleasant hotel with large, comfortable, and well-equipped rooms, each with a balcony offering lovely panoramic views. The staff were friendly and helpful with advice on places to visit. The grounds are lush and green. We had a great stay.
