04/04/2026: A great neighborhood eatery! It's simple and efficient. The dishes aren't very elaborate, but that's not what you'd expect, and the prices are very reasonable. Special mention for the desserts, especially the homemade tarts—they're delicious! The owners are very friendly and know all their regular customers. It has a relaxed, informal atmosphere: you serve yourself the tarts and bring your plates back to the counter if you want to help. Very pleasant and lively.

18/05/2026: We had selected different two- and three-course set menus, which also included amuse-bouches and sweet treats with our espresso. Everything looked good, but the taste was average, especially the sauces. The chocolate soufflé and the flambéed apple crepe were fantastic 👌, as were the little sweet treats 😎. The service was very good, friendly, helpful, and attentive 👍. The price-performance ratio was acceptable considering the size of the set menu, but I had expected more from the food.

07/05/2026: After reading the various reviews already written, and seeing the numerous photos, what more can I say?... This is my third time at this restaurant. Despite being near the A10 motorway exit, it's well-located in a pleasant setting. I don't recall ever being bothered by traffic noise, but I've never eaten on the terrace. This restaurant is always very clean, a pleasant place to relax and enjoy a meal, with large tables, comfortable seats, and ample space between diners. The staff is friendly and attentive. It's best to make a reservation to ensure they can accommodate your guests at certain times, but it's possible to find available tables. The cuisine offered by the Chef and his team is always TOP-NOTCH, and I don't know if he has a Michelin star or is a certified chef, which I couldn't care less about! 😋 😁 The photos speak for themselves! 📸 Plenty of little extras that tantalize the taste buds! 🥰 😇 The service is sometimes a bit disorganized, but nothing too bad if you have plenty of time! 🕰️ I've always received the information or services I needed, but perhaps it's more difficult during peak season with seasonal staff?... As for prices, it might seem expensive... The "Menus Plaisir" (Pleasure Menus) are still affordable, yet always high quality! They offer different options, even a catering service! A personal tip: get someone to treat you... The bill will be cheaper this time! That's what they offered me for my third visit, and I gladly accepted!!! 😉 😇 😁 In short, a pleasant setting and location, clean, comfortable, high-quality cuisine, prices that reflect the quality of the service... I want to go back! 😊

21/04/2026: A warm welcome with a smile, even without a reservation. This small bistro-brasserie offers a simple, cozy, and very pleasant atmosphere. The dishes are of very high quality, prepared with excellent ingredients, and the lunchtime set menus are superb: a main course and dessert for under €15! The service is top-notch: they explain that everything is homemade, and they are transparent about the dishes still available—a true sense of service. The daily special was followed by an absolutely delicious crème brûlée. A very enjoyable experience; I will definitely be back!

07/06/2026: When I come to Tours, a visit to "Martin Bleu" is a must. Chef Florent Martin has been at the helm for many years. He elevates Loire River fish (unjustly underappreciated in French cuisine). The presentation is perfect, the accompaniments judicious, and this is evident in the taste. But don't worry if you're not a big fish fan. The poultry and meat dishes are also excellent... you get the picture... I highly recommend it! 😍

21/05/2026: Cheval Rouge Restaurant - This was great. We finished visiting Chateau Villandry, and had a 1 hour drive ahead to Saumur. As we headed out of town, we realized it might be nice to eat here before we continue. It was a rainy and blustery day, so let's stop. We were not disappointed. A nice, quiet stop. The food was just what we wanted. Since arriving in France, seems every place is serving "tourist" portions, meaning more than we can eat to the detriment of quality. Cheval Rouge was just the right amount with the wonderful French flavors. Service was quiet and efficient. A good decision to stop here. Try the Lamb stew.

18/05/2026: Old room, hair dryer not working, renovation badly needed. As for the positives - it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was alright.

16/04/2026: We went to eat at KFC and the experience was rather disappointing. The wait was particularly long, which can happen during busy periods, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case, and the quality of the food didn't make up for it. In fact, the food served wasn't hot enough and lacked freshness, which made the meal less enjoyable. It's a shame, because one expects a minimum level of quality and consistency from this type of establishment. However, the staff remained polite, and we hope that these aspects can be improved in the future, particularly regarding wait times and food temperatures.

13/04/2026: My friend and I came in April and ordered the veggie wrap and cheese naan. It was excellent, I highly recommend it! It smells amazing and looks so appetizing! I'm not used to Indian restaurants, but this one is really inexpensive and a sure bet!

28/03/2026: It was incredibly disrespectful to serve me this! As a regular butter chicken customer, I wanted to try this Indian restaurant, and it was anything but butter! And don't even get me started on the naan, which was burnt and disgusting! I didn't eat a thing; it all ended up in the bin! When I came in and asked for butter chicken, I overheard one of the employees say to the owner, "But we're out of butter chicken?" He replied, "Yes, we are." That should have been a red flag, and I would have preferred them to be honest with me rather than serving me some leftover mess! I was very disappointed, especially since I was planning to eat somewhere else and was very hungry. I should have just walked away.

07/06/2026: Hello. We came to eat here on Saturday, June 6, 2026, for a birthday celebration. We had booked and ordered our menus in advance. There were 21 of us. We had a choice of three appetizers and two main courses. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal; the welcome, service, and atmosphere were superb. The entire menu, from appetizer to main course and dessert, was a true delight. The cooking of the appetizers and main courses was excellent, demonstrating mastery of both cooking techniques and presentation. It was a feast for the eyes and the palate. We finished our meal with a good quality coffee, which was also very good. Thank you to the chef and the restaurant owner. Thank you, and we highly recommend it; it's a truly fantastic restaurant. Thank you.
