22/09/2024: A little hidden gem. The gardens are fantastic for a pleasant walk. The route is very well signposted so you don't miss any of the artistic installations that are in every corner. The palace is small but with a very careful decoration, perfectly combining modern art with the more traditional and typical decoration of castles. The cafeteria is very nice to have a light snack at the end of the visit. Free parking. Highly recommended.

01/09/2024: Bad hospitality and unfriendly, in addition to the following. One Sunday, 10:30 a.m., no customers: the waitress refuses to serve me a simple coffee. And this under the pretext that... 'we are not allowed to serve drinks without serving food'. In fact, if you have the right, it is even prohibited to refuse according to article L 122-1 of the Consumer Code.

01/09/2024: A real surprise, my wife and I had dinner in this very cozy restaurant, a family atmosphere, tasty cuisine and fresh products, we will come back without hesitation. Special mention to the chef for the “crying tiger style beef” Remember to book.

So, she wasn't even agree to just write down what we wanted order before the other customers decided on their order. It took us a long time to choose the dishes ourselves, because the menu is in French and it took us a lot of time to translate it all on the internet. After a while, another waiter arrived and took our order anyway. Customers who arrived before us took a very long time to decide on their order after that.

20/08/2024: Great time spent in this restaurant during our visit to Chinon. The service was quick and the dishes were very good, like the wine! We ate on the upstairs terrace, no problem with our children (6 years and 21 months)! Thanks to the restaurant team!

18/08/2024: Intimate restaurant but not cold (on the contrary). Very nice personalized welcome. Our host took the time to advise us in detail on the wine. We were well seated: comfortable seats and no crowding with other guests. The meal was perfect from start (delicious tapas but a little small) to finish (profiteroles, brioche, chocolate coulant). Note the very elaborate cod fillet with perfect flavors and balance! All for €50/person with wine…really excellent value for money The icing on the cake was that our dog was welcome and also received a warm welcome. Go ahead, it would be a shame to miss it!

24/08/2024: Tremendous! Real homemade pancakes, finally! We are fans of creperies and this one blew us away! A word of advice: take the large format if you are greedy like us! Special mention to Mr. the waiter, full of kindness and kindness!

Very well received despite the special conditions during our visit (cook alone to run the shop, he also did the service 😂) so the menu was reduced to a starter/main course/dessert. Everything was very well done, excellent cuisine (top candied rillons) and a cool atmosphere, like at home! We were there for around 1 p.m. but they can serve until 4 p.m. according to what he told us, something extremely rare! We do not regret our visit and wish the owners good luck.
