14/08/2025: A very pretty setting and very professional welcome and service, with perfect timing between courses. However, we were disappointed by the dishes, a little bland and nothing special or particularly well presented. We didn't understand the idea of the unpeeled carrot, just steamed, across the plate; a bit surprising, but not in a good way. The ice creams that accompany the desserts are very good, but swallowed in two spoonfuls because they're a small dumpling of ice cream. As for the starter, which included a "perfect egg," we had it on one plate but not on the other. We called the waitress for it, who pointed out a small speck of yolk, which was therefore "the perfect egg," but you had to wear your glasses! So for the 27 euro menu, the experience wasn't great, but I suppose it's better à la carte...or if I had known, I would have taken the 37 euro menu, which I therefore recommend.

05/02/2026: This restaurant is ideally located at the foot of the castle. We received a very warm welcome in a stylish, friendly, and peaceful setting. The owner's affability, his willingness to chat, made us feel right at home after the lunch rush, among friends. The waitress was friendly, smiling, and discreet. We enjoyed delicious galettes and crêpes made with quality ingredients, all accompanied by a very pleasant cider. In short, we highly recommend this establishment. Thank you to the staff for your hospitality.

08/01/2026: The restaurant was listed as open, but we arrived at 8:15 PM and were turned away at the entrance. I tried calling the restaurant twice before our arrival, but there was no answer. On my second attempt, they hung up on me. The least they could do in this situation is answer the phone and let you know... not very professional.

18/02/2026: Passing through Tours, we stopped for a bite to eat before heading home, and well, that was the first and last time. The welcome, the service, etc... 0. The woman was very unpleasant, as if we had forced her to work! This kind of behavior is very childish. Good luck.

30/12/2025: I stayed here last May with my family on a trip through France and Germany. This hotel was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. However my favorite part of this town were the cats. We had been in France for 3-4 days and I did not see any cats. I missed mine back home very much. When we arrived late at night there were several near the shops and hotel.

If you are looking for a quality restaurant, don't hesitate to choose this establishment. There is no obligation to book a room to enjoy this. Very good food.
