31/08/2024: A unique menu, very good dishes and desserts!

25/08/2024: The presentation of the dishes is nice, unfortunately we unanimously found that the dishes were a little bland. The price of the menu seems high compared to the quality of taste. A bit of a long evening since we waited more than 20 minutes for the bill to finally be brought to us after asking 3 times.

24/07/2024: We went to eat for 4 at the pizzeria. Apart from a few shortages of ingredients (victim of its success haha) everything went very well. The service is pleasant and not too long, the pizzas are good and the location is nice. The atmosphere is warm.

20/08/2024: Here is a restaurant that would like to play in the big leagues by displaying a really great website. This establishment really deserves to hire untrained staff even if it can inevitably create some problems of misunderstanding. I suggest a few points for improvement: Avoid announcing fish according to availability to serve an unfortunate fillet of saithe...we know well that boats do not arrive in Montpoupon every day. Avoid presenting a bottle of Saumur Champigny from 2022 when ordering 2011 presented on the menu, start uncorking it without saying anything to the customer, thinking that it would still pass. This last remark was made to the owner who didn't even apologize and who couldn't think of anything other than "we no longer have vintage wines.....well in this case, we remove it from the Madam card!! Some evil spirits might mistake this for fraud!!

19/09/2024: Really a great discovery! Already the view is incredible, the waiters are friendly and efficient, the cocktails are good, the tapas too I highly recommend!

19/09/2024: Came randomly at the beginning of the evening. Installed on a small table facing the royal castle. An incredible spot. Superb mixed aperitif board just like the potatoes with sauce. Super smiling and attentive staff. A very good time. I hope I can come back!!

03/09/2024: Une carte qui interroge sur les associations d’ingrédients… des surprises à chaque plat digne d’un étoilé !! Entre amis, nous avons plus parlé de ce que nous mangions que de parler ensemble…. cqdd !!! Belle découverte ! Merci au chef , Gilles Hemart, pour ce moment gustatif !!

01/09/2024: Exceptionnel. Le chef s'amuse à mélanger des saveurs, des textures...Salé /sucré, aérien/dense, croquant/moelleux, acidulé/doux. Les vins proposés (bios!) étaient parfaits et le personnel gentil et attentionné, à recommander sans hésitation

30/08/2024: A unique, atypical and characteristic place on the banks of the Cher. Don't look for the stars on the menu, they are in the eyes of the owners, simple dishes, fast service and a lot of altruism. THANKS.

25/08/2024: An excellent discovery. A true gourmet restaurant, no doubt about it. The setting is neat, the dishes from the Tasting menu are very successful with perfectly mastered juices, a delight. A lovely culinary journey throughout the meal, served for the occasion by the chef himself, which allowed us to talk a little about cooking, the icing on the cake! Rather affordable prices considering the service. We will come back, that's a certainty.

25/08/2024: A very nice discovery! I recommend this address with my eyes closed: a card which is not as long as an arm but which is extremely effective. From starter to dessert, it’s zero fault. First time I have come to this restaurant and I will definitely come back.

25/08/2024: This evening I went to this establishment with a friend as soon as I ordered a bottle of white chinon s the owner was tidying up his terrace a lack of good manners and as soon as he finished the bottle he packed up the glasses and the bottle at the same time that means good it's good you can get out and well I won't come back to be trader is a gift

15/09/2024: We stopped at this charming and spacious establishment, with ample parking, on our way back from Beauval Zoo. We were welcomed by a very pleasant and smiling team. Fast service. Delicious and hearty cuisine. If we pass through your town again, it will be with great pleasure that we will stop again.

11/07/2024: Si la façade semble bien modeste, un repas copieux avec un service parfait pour un rapport qualité prix exceptionnel, nous sommes rentrés par hasard, pour déjeuner et ce fut une très agréable surprise, service rapide avec le sourire.

20/09/2024: Accueil super sympa ! Propriétaires et serveurs sont prévenants, plein d’humour et à l’écoute de la clientèle dans une ambiance décontractée. Le menu du jour était copieux, très bon et servi sans attente. Nous avons apprécié également le conseil pour le choix du vin.

22/09/2024: Found this by chance during a cycle trip in the Loire Valley and it might've been our favourite place of the whole trip! Burger and fries were top notch, perfect for a post-cycle, and the beer was great too. Friendly bar staff and great laid-back, non-fusty atmosphere.
