13/04/2026: My friend and I came in April and ordered the veggie wrap and cheese naan. It was excellent, I highly recommend it! It smells amazing and looks so appetizing! I'm not used to Indian restaurants, but this one is really inexpensive and a sure bet!

28/03/2026: It was incredibly disrespectful to serve me this! As a regular butter chicken customer, I wanted to try this Indian restaurant, and it was anything but butter! And don't even get me started on the naan, which was burnt and disgusting! I didn't eat a thing; it all ended up in the bin! When I came in and asked for butter chicken, I overheard one of the employees say to the owner, "But we're out of butter chicken?" He replied, "Yes, we are." That should have been a red flag, and I would have preferred them to be honest with me rather than serving me some leftover mess! I was very disappointed, especially since I was planning to eat somewhere else and was very hungry. I should have just walked away.

20/07/2026: A lovely evening on the terrace with friends. A very warm welcome and excellent advice on beers and wines. The dishes were elegant and delicious, flawless from appetizers to desserts. Everything is homemade. The prices are reasonable. We'll be back.

05/08/2026: Excellent place. Friendly service. Carefully selected local wines and a superb local charcuterie board. If you're passing through Amboise, this is the place to remember for your stay.

08/07/2026: Very good food. The waiters/waitresses seemed a bit stressed, but overall a good place!

06/07/2026: We set out to get a salad that looked very tempting, glancing at our neighbors as well, and in the end, my wife and I each ordered a burger: one vegetarian and the other made with real chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and other delicious toppings that delighted our taste buds. Plus, the service was excellent.

18/03/2026: I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Clos des Roses. Audrey and Laurent are incredibly welcoming and warm. I will cherish the memories of my stay. The place has a beautiful soul, embodied by the owners themselves. And to top it all off, the cocktails, the meal, and the breakfast were all delicious. Thank you both! ☺️

10/01/2026: The restaurant has been sold, what a shame! It was a real gem in the area, offering excellent value for money and a warm welcome! We'll miss Armelle and Julien! The bar was set high :) Let's hope whoever takes over will live up to it.

30/12/2025: I stayed here last May with my family on a trip through France and Germany. This hotel was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. However my favorite part of this town were the cats. We had been in France for 3-4 days and I did not see any cats. I missed mine back home very much. When we arrived late at night there were several near the shops and hotel.

13/11/2025: Comfortable hotel in the heart of the city. The castle is a 5-minute walk away. Spacious and comfortable room. Highly recommended!

22/03/2026: The Auberge de Crissay is an excellent place to stay; everything is perfect. The welcome, the service, and the various set menus offered are all top-notch. Lunch is of very high quality, featuring local products, and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely return and recommend it without hesitation.

26/05/2026: A pleasant hotel with large, comfortable, and well-equipped rooms, each with a balcony offering lovely panoramic views. The staff were friendly and helpful with advice on places to visit. The grounds are lush and green. We had a great stay.

06/05/2026: Julien was an excellent guide throughout the planning of our event. He helped us navigate the process and make the choices that truly reflected our vision. He was there on the day itself to ensure everything was perfectly set up. Vincent and Mathieu provided efficient service while remaining approachable and friendly. The cocktail reception was perfect, delicious, and a hit with our guests. The two main courses we ordered were excellent, with a slight preference for the couscous. We highly recommend them!

27/04/2026: What can I say... a place like no other. Friendly atmosphere, simple yet delicious food, and an excellent pastry chef. Don't hesitate to stop by, order your pastries (even personalized ones), or have breakfast (homemade viennoiseries). Pure bliss! Our only regret is not being able to share photos of our experience.
