02/03/2026: Stylishly restored old building. The original features have been preserved. Truly beautiful for those who appreciate a romantic interior. The rooms are spacious and equipped with comfortable beds. Everything looks quite new and well-maintained. The restaurant offers a daily menu, but we dined à la carte. The food was excellent.

27/02/2026: Excellent welcome, top-notch room, the receptionist was great, but if the rest of the staff (cook and housekeeping) would just say hello, it would be a huge improvement.

21/01/2026: The atmosphere was alright, but the drinks were a huge disappointment. The space around the bar is far too cramped; it's a constant scramble to order. I had three Irish Coffees at three different times during the evening: all three were lukewarm, almost cold, with very little crema and no real flavor. For a bar that calls itself Irish, this is unacceptable. A poorly executed Irish Coffee clearly raises questions about the servers' competence with this type of drink and the quality of the whiskey used. There was a strong odor in the restrooms, giving the impression of poor maintenance. The atmosphere was good, but it doesn't make up for such a poor experience with the drinks.

19/01/2026: I came for the La Rochelle match, but ended up staying for the Africa Cup of Nations because the atmosphere was so fantastic. It's truly an authentic Irish experience. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the pub is open on Sundays: a real haven for rugby fans and the English-speaking community. Highly recommended!

24/02/2026: The delivery drivers and phone service are more than adequate, but the overall experience is still marred by what I suspect is one of the cooks. Half the time, the pizza toppings are skimpy; sometimes everything is fine, and other times the pizza is extremely flat, dry, and barely a third of the ingredients are there. For a €55 order, this doesn't seem acceptable.

15/02/2026: We decided to spend Valentine's Day at the Auberge de Launay. Franck gave us a superb welcome and prepared a lovely menu for our romantic evening. Kindness, smiles, and professionalism were all present. We would gladly return.

05/01/2026: A charming, authentic inn in a peaceful location. The owners were welcoming, humorous, and provided excellent service. Breakfast was more than adequate, and the evening meal was very good. Excellent value for money. Perfect for visiting some of the Loire Valley châteaux. All the best. The group of 9 from Franche-Comté, weekend of September 7th.

18/02/2026: Two nights stayed. Very nice room, very good breakfast and very good meals. We will return. Except for the second night, we were woken up at 5 a.m. by a vibrating phone alarm clock… because the cloakroom is next to the room. I think they forgot to put down a locker!

15/02/2026: Disappointed by the Valentine's Day menu... Quite a long wait, the foie gras was mediocre in both cooking and quantity, the side dishes for the meat course were practically nonexistent, the fish was reheated... the white wine was warm... Really very average for the price of the €75 menu without wine... An aperitif glass was left on the table until the end of the meal, and there was a lack of staff; it seemed they were prioritizing profit over the quality of the food and service. First and last experience at this restaurant.

31/01/2026: A pleasant brunch, especially with unlimited tea and coffee! However, some items weren't prepared well enough for our taste (cut fruit, sandwiches on white bread and cheddar). Perhaps nicer tableware would also be a welcome addition. Plenty of food and friendly staff. €22 for the brunch.
