02/03/2026: We had booked for 14 people for my daughter's birthday at 7:30 pm. At 7:45 pm, the manager came to ask when the rest of the guests would arrive because there was a second seating at 9:30 pm, something we hadn't been told when we booked directly. He was very unpleasant; we almost left, but then he gave us time. The waitress had long hair and wasn't smiling at all, and the cobwebs were still there (despite having mentioned them in a review from three months ago). In short, we weren't very satisfied.

22/01/2026: The best value for money in Tours. Excellent set lunch menu for €15 on weekdays. Good quality, well-presented, and generous portions. Top-notch service. Other options available. Craft beer for €4.90; you can even take away bottles with a "lemonade" style closure. Irish coffee for €7.50. The decor has a "school" feel, with several rooms, including one upstairs. Very clean establishment. I highly recommend it.

01/02/2026: The €46 set menu for two included rose tea, which was colored water with sweet syrup, various smoothed-over dishes with hummus and a very small amount of eggplant caviar, a very salty tabbouleh salad, and three wings cut in half, tasteless and not fresh, a lettuce leaf, a slice of onion, and a few slices of processed meat (like cachir) sprinkled with cilantro 😯—far from Lebanese cuisine. There were also fried items: two empty mini spring rolls full of oil-soaked wrappers, two falafels swimming in oil, and two pieces of dough with a little kefta. The overall impression was frankly disappointing. I strongly advise against going; it's a shameful rip-off. The price, the quality, and the quantity are ridiculous 😳

13/02/2026: Reading this comment is your first mistake; you should be at one of the tables in this restaurant, which will take you on a journey with its flavors. Go there blind and with friends.

The young owner of this Bistrot Jeanne d’Arc welcomes you with a smile in a small, old-fashioned dining room with a cozy fire in the fireplace. The menu is short, but the homemade dishes are excellent: main courses and desserts alike are original and flavorful. If you're passing through... don't hesitate!

08/03/2026: We had a truly disastrous experience... It used to be a magical place, both for its setting and its food, but now it's scandalous in every way. This was the experience shared by the people on the terrace around us. The establishment must have changed management... definitely avoid it for the time being. What a shame.

02/03/2026: Located very close to the Château, we chose this restaurant for a quiet evening and we weren't disappointed. We had a very good meal. We ordered the duck breast and chocolate profiteroles for dessert; it was really delicious and well-prepared. The service was friendly and welcoming. We also appreciated how quiet the restaurant was, perfect for a relaxed conversation without any background noise. A great place to eat in Amboise. Remember to book ahead to be sure of getting a table.

The welcome was warm from the moment we arrived, and the service was impeccable from beginning to end. The waitress was exceptional throughout the meal: professional, attentive, smiling, and always ready to help. She gave us excellent recommendations and greatly contributed to making our experience even more enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return!
