23/03/2026: I discovered this place while picking up some packages that had been delivered there. The owner is incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. He does everything he can to satisfy his customers. For example, I absolutely had to pick up a package because the deadline was approaching. I called him to explain that it was completely impossible for me to come on the scheduled day due to a last-minute conflict. He very kindly told me not to worry and that he would keep my package. I bought some cigarettes from him, and since I didn't have a lighter, he kindly gave me one 🎉 And I also wanted to mention the opening hours: Unless I'm mistaken, it's open from: - 5:30 am to 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and from 5:30 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday 💪! How many businesses have such opening hours these days?! Plus, their coffee is excellent. I truly recommend this establishment for all these reasons 👍 Don't be fooled by the café's small size, because inside you'll be greeted by a gentleman with a strong work ethic and a smile 😁 As they say, "don't judge a book by its cover," and you'll be supporting a truly local business. 08/05/2026: An older café with sunny outdoor seating right next to the train station. Good selection of beers, happy hour weekdays from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The service is friendly and fast.

22/03/2026: My partner and I went to this restaurant for dinner last night. We don't understand the glowing reviews… we had a terrible meal. The food wasn't good, the cooking was nonexistent (the amuse-bouche was just a wrap). They're clearly focused on presentation. The service was friendly.

29/04/2026: Dated to a restaurant on April 29, 2026. We enjoyed our cocktails and main courses. The servers provided good service. However, for dessert, I chose the "gourmet tartlet," which was the featured item on their menu. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. It was just buttercream, and you had to "find" the fruit in the dessert. I sent the dish back to the server, explaining that it was disappointing. When he returned, he told me he would remove it from the bill. When it came time to pay, the manager decided to charge me 50% of the price for the tartlet. I told the server that he had seen the same thing I had, that it was just cream. Frankly, it's ridiculous. I won't be returning to this restaurant. Given its convenient location, I don't think it would have been a problem to remove a poorly made tartlet from the bill.

29/04/2026: Nice spot for drinks and food, with friendly service — until dessert. We ordered their “specialty” pie… which turned out to be nothing more than a cookie with whipped cream and a tiny bit of fruit jelly. Not worth it at all. We complained, and although the waiter was understanding, the manager refused to remove it from the bill because it was “half eaten.” We ended up paying €4 after a 50% discount. For a busy place in Plumereau Square, it’s not about the money — it’s about the attitude. Disappointing

02/03/2026: We had booked for 14 people for my daughter's birthday at 7:30 pm. At 7:45 pm, the manager came to ask when the rest of the guests would arrive because there was a second seating at 9:30 pm, something we hadn't been told when we booked directly. He was very unpleasant; we almost left, but then he gave us time. The waitress had long hair and wasn't smiling at all, and the cobwebs were still there (despite having mentioned them in a review from three months ago). In short, we weren't very satisfied.

01/04/2026: Super little local Asia buffet with every choice you would want! Only a 10 minute walk from the campsite. The woman running the place is so warm and friendly and the food is excellent quality. You have to try to homemade peanut brittle and nougat and the homemade candied ginger. I will definitely return when in Tours! It's definitely worth a visit.

06/04/2026: An exceptional discovery! The hotel is a gem in the countryside, the staff is professional yet welcoming. The "Buttercup" room is wonderfully spacious. Dinner was superb! Rafa the cat is the hotel's mascot!
