29/04/2026: My friends and I ordered takeout today, getting kefta and chicken sandwiches, and frankly, I was extremely disappointed! I wasn't expecting what we got. The bread was incredibly dry, hard to swallow, and the kefta was sorely lacking in spices! It was too bland, lacking salt and sauce. The meat wasn't juicy at all inside the bread. Plus, I was expecting more vegetables like tomatoes, onions, and lettuce, but the sandwich was practically empty! There was no hint of any oriental flavor, which is a shame! Our experience ends here, and unfortunately, it doesn't make us want to repeat it.

11/02/2026: 19 euros for 12 thin slices of cucumber, 2 heaping tablespoons of shepherd's pie with 3 lettuce leaves and a slice of Charlotte biscuit. Really very expensive, nothing like the previous owners who offered decent portions and cheese for less. The new waitress has a nice, professional smile but is unpleasant if you tell her what you think and makes it clear you should go somewhere else if you're not happy.

19/01/2026: This is an informed review following a disastrous experience at this "brasserie." The restaurant boasts a pleasant setting and an attractive storefront, but that's where its appeal ends. The menu offered few dishes, which often suggests homemade cuisine, so we were initially confident. We ordered three appetizers: a kidney puff pastry, a spinach and goat cheese tart, and a country terrine. Our main courses were three duck breasts with orange sauce (an extra €3) and sliced ​​beef with pepper sauce. We also ordered a floating island dessert, a San Pellegrino, and two glasses of St. Nicolas de Bourgueil. The result: a rather spicy puff pastry, a relatively greasy terrine, and a tart replaced by a quiche Lorraine (which was also very salty). We mentioned this, and were told that the chef hadn't informed us. Next up: the duck breast was sinewy and quite tough (a sign of poor quality), roughly sliced ​​lengthwise, and the orange sauce was nonexistent; instead, there was a jar of some kind of stock with leftover shreds of meat to which small pieces of orange had been added. And the side dish was something I'd never seen before: potatoes, lentils, and carrots. A complete mismatch. As for the sliced ​​beef, our daughter ate absolutely nothing, just the salad. The beef was overcooked (resembling boiled meat), and there was no pepper sauce as promised. Faced with this litany of errors, we put an end to the carnage and cancelled dessert. Finally, they don't accept Connect holiday vouchers, only the paper version. The bill came to €95.70. Change the chef or call in Philippe Etchebest… when there’s nobody in a restaurant, you have to ask yourself some questions… (the bistro was taken over under a lease agreement in January 2025, from what I’ve seen)
