11/08/2026: We had a very good experience at this restaurant. We had no problems with the reservation or the service. The food was of very high quality, with a variety of original sushi options. The prices were reasonable and the staff were friendly. I highly recommend it.

03/08/2026: All-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant! Everything is fresh and made to order, it's fantastic 😋 There are a maximum of three seatings, but you can order as much as you want per seating, so it's great. Okay, it was delicious, so I highly recommend it.

12/08/2026: How can I put it? Apart from the soup, nothing was right. The coleslaw tasted watery, probably because either the dressing or the vegetables had thawed. The maki rolls didn't hold their shape, and the rice wasn't great. On top of that, it came with ginger in a bag full of water. It was definitely frozen because it had no flavor and certainly no crunch. Not to mention the difficulty of opening the bag due to the condensation. It's simply shameful to serve ginger like that in an Asian restaurant; it's the first time I've ever seen anything like it! The skewers were barely cooked, and I'm being generous with the meatballs... The rice was undercooked. Finally, the restaurant wasn't cleaned at all. The dust clouds above our heads threatened to fall into our food. I don't know if it wouldn't have been better given the quality; at worst, I could have asked for a refund 🤭 These infamous dust bunnies are also accompanied by cobwebs. The problem is that with the current temperatures, if the air conditioning had been used, all these clusters of germs would have been inhaled. I absolutely don't understand the ratings given, especially those above 2, because the quality is simply not there. I knew this restaurant in its early days, and back then, the food was indeed good, but it's clear that's no longer the case, unfortunately.

10/08/2026: I've ordered several times via Uber Eats. My first order was fine, even great, but for subsequent orders, I noticed the rice served in the menu was dry, as if it were several days old. My last order was the same. I also ordered some sushi (tuna/salmon) that looked questionable. As a result, I've had food poisoning since yesterday and I won't be ordering again. 👎🏽

15/08/2026: Appalling service, appalling food. When you talk to the staff, they either don't understand or don't want to understand. I won't let this go. And I certainly won't be back!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

27/07/2026: Things aren't going well. When you go to this restaurant, be careful, everyone. The sushi is very poor quality because the fish isn't fresh. It's not Japanese sushi. Mantes-la-Jolie Japanese sushi restaurant.

06/07/2026: I recently discovered this place thanks to a friend; frankly, it's an excellent, fast, and friendly spot.

16/09/2026: The food and service were both excellent. The ambient lighting was red that day, which I didn't think was particularly suitable for taking photos. The food was delicious, though a little pricey.

13/09/2026: We were two well-dressed women in our twenties, with advance tickets, and yet we were refused entry? Without explanation? Like we were unclean. What's more, there was nobody there, no queue. Incomprehensible.

02/04/2026: Excellent tofu poke and little wait at lunchtime on a weekday!

28/03/2026: I came here for lunch with my friends: disaster. The waitress wouldn't let us finish our sentences when we ordered; she'd run off to serve other customers. I ordered a bowl of rice, which arrived 30 minutes after I asked the waitress multiple times where it was. The rice arrived cold. We then waited another 10 minutes to pay. In short, don't go there; it's awful.

28/08/2026: The special P1 pho is not good: the broth is very salty. Not enough spices, the dumplings are awful. The food is not very good. Avoid it, and the waiters aren't very helpful. Very expensive for what it is. €6.90 for a tiny, barely filled spring roll?!

26/08/2026: A little gem in this neighborhood! I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting to find such authentic Vietnamese flavors. The pho broth was delicious and the noodles were fresh! I also recommend the banh cuon, which was very well prepared. Perhaps the nuoc mam could be a little less acidic, but it was still delicious!

05/12/2025: Quick, simple, and good food. Plenty of choice.

03/12/2025: I ordered delivery. They forgot half of my order. When I called them to let them know, they said they were closing and couldn't do anything.

14/08/2026: The food is very good, perfect, but the lady is very unpleasant and not nice at all. The gentlemen are very kind.

22/07/2026: Thankfully the food is good, because the service is a complete disaster. The woman who serves is cold, rarely smiles, and really gives the impression that our presence is inconvenient. What a shame.

24/08/2026: The staff were very friendly, and the buffet was quite good for an all-you-can-eat option. One star less because the bins were often empty and the wait was long. The staff were friendly, the selection was limited, but the quality was acceptable for the price.

18/08/2026: Personally, I've been going there regularly since 2011 to buy maki, sushi, and sashimi. I find them fresh and very good. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I recommend this place for food lovers.

16/09/2025: It was with a heavy heart that I went to Kaiten today for the last time. Like many regulars (who were here today), we frequented the restaurant for over 10 years. The atmosphere was truly special, familial, and unique. This was undoubtedly due to the exceptional care and attention of the staff. Of course, we won't find Japanese cuisine of this quality again anytime soon… We wish the Kaiten team all the best and hope to see you again someday, perhaps on another project! Thank you! Thomas
