12/10/2025: Very disappointed with this restaurant. We had a reservation for 1:00 p.m. today. When we arrived with our little dog, the owner turned us away without even coming to see us because he doesn't want dogs. This is the first time this has happened to us.

Perfect suggestions (wine, desserts...) and delicious cuisine from starter to dessert. I will come back to see you during my next stay in Paris! 27/01/2026: The brasserie service was disastrous and the welcome deplorable. To have a drink on a weekday, expect to wait at least 15 minutes for your order to be taken. Then, heaven only knows when you'll actually be served. Poor tourists, in this type of establishment, you'll pay top dollar for service that... well, you know!

02/11/2025: I want to talk about this restaurant: the couscous is simply magnificent. I've never eaten such good couscous or tagine anywhere in the world. After the sad news of the owner's passing, we want to offer our support to his family, as it's a truly welcoming place, reflecting the spirit of those who created it. I highly recommend this warm and family-friendly establishment.

02/11/2025: Really not great. No appetizers offered with the aperitif. The lemon and olive tagine had no flavor, and no sauce. A couple behind us with a dog was putting its nose in the plate at the table behind us—great for the next customer.

25/01/2026: A very pleasant welcome and attentive service. The dining room was lovely, and the staff were elegantly dressed. The couscous was of good quality and the portions were adequate.

22/01/2026: A loyal customer for over 15 years, I will never return. I was practically insulted by the owner because I took our leftover food home in a container. Yet he didn't dare say a word to my friend. It's easier to pick on a woman.

25/05/2025: While passing through Vendôme, we had dinner at Sud-Maroc without regret. The welcome, the service, and the cuisine (vegetable tagine with lamb and oriental pastries) were beyond praise. It was perfect! Thanks to the waitress and the cook.

24/04/2025: Nice waitress but super expensive 20 euros for 1 couscous with 2 merguez or 2 dumplings. In addition to eating industrial merguez and don't tell me otherwise when we have very straight merguez striped as they were and above all very fat and white inside a bowl of semolina for two and a bowl of vegetables for two frankly quantity to review there are other couscous in the area for less expensive and really better because it lacks taste as well.

17/01/2026: Visited twice in three weeks (the second time out of necessity), and frankly, that was the last time. The restaurant was filthy, the toilet doors were a disaster, and the pepper shaker lids were ridiculously thick. The service was slow, the couscous was tasteless, the meat was undercooked and unmarinated, and the merguez sausage was awful. The next day, I thought I'd be getting a new air freshener! It was a nightmare. One couple in our group had been going there for over 25 years and even tried to complain, but the waitress either didn't understand or pretended not to. In short, honestly, avoid this place; it's definitely going downhill. What a shame.

02/01/2026: This bar was astonishing! This morning, on the terrace, we replaced two tourists who had ordered two freshly squeezed orange juices. The receipt was on the table: 2 x 4 = €8. We also ordered two freshly squeezed orange juices, and when it came time to pay, I asked the waiter, handing him a €10 note, "How much do I owe you?" Seeing my cash and not having given him a receipt, the waiter replied, "€9."... It was infuriating, and I preferred to say nothing! Tourists are known for complaining, everyone knows that. The person at the next table, with whom we chatted, made the same comment about their coffees, paid for in cash without a receipt! They were so expensive! A word to the wise! This bar is a tourist trap, definitely one to avoid! The waiter, a small man in his sixties (perhaps the owner), will surely recognize himself!

31/10/2025: We absolutely do not regret our choice!!! It was wonderful! The waitress was lovely, smiling, and professional!! And what can I say about the meal!! It's been a very long time since I've eaten fish and seafood so well cooked, fresh, and homemade! Thank you, thank you, and keep up the good work!!

12/12/2025: My colleagues and I took our lunch break in this "restaurant" to eat. The pizzas, supposedly homemade, had a bad dough, the atmosphere was gloomy, and the decor left much to be desired. We felt like we were entering a cave rather than a restaurant, not to mention the owner's comment about the door being half open. We were not happy with the service provided by this restaurant, and this place is not recommended.
