13/02/2026: We ordered a Paris-Metz for our daughter's 18th birthday, as it's her favorite cake: a delicious entremet normally made with macaron shells, harlequin cream, and whole fresh raspberries. I placed the order by phone for a cake intended for 10 people. The salesperson confirmed without hesitation that they could indeed make the Paris-Metz for that number of guests. However, upon pickup, I was very disappointed: the cake didn't match the official Paris-Metz shape or its usual composition. It lacked the characteristic macaron shells and whole fresh raspberries. Instead, a few small individual shells were simply arranged on the side of the entremet. When I pointed this out, I was told that for 10 people, it was impossible to create the traditional shape due to the cutting involved. This argument is hardly acceptable, as a pastry shop in Metz (currently closed during this period) makes this cake perfectly for 10 people, with its authentic presentation and taste. I would have appreciated being clearly informed when I placed the order by phone that the appearance and ingredients would be different. This would have allowed me to make a more informed choice. If we hadn't been so desperate, we wouldn't have ordered this cake!

25/11/2025: Pleasant and calm setting, generously stocked all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, we will return for an evening and accommodation.

06/11/2025: We booked five rooms for a family celebration. We received a warm welcome. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is adequate. If the opportunity arises, we would not hesitate to return to this establishment.

12/11/2025: Based on positive reviews of this restaurant, we booked a table for our end-of-year meal. A week later, the reservation was cancelled by the restaurant. Not very reliable.

02/02/2026: Weekend in Sarrebourg, a little gem of a place in this charming town… I had the chance to eat there, everything was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the service was excellent. Waitresses, waiters, manager, everyone in the Good Mood area was warm and friendly… I highly recommend it

10/01/2026: So where to begin? Upon arrival, the manager pounced on us to present his suggestion without even asking if we were there for a meal or just a coffee. Then my boyfriend, finally won over by the suggestion, ordered it, our friend ordered a simple hot chocolate, and when I asked what kind of panini they had, he told me to look at the display case as if he had no idea what he was selling. I ended up choosing the raclette and bacon panini. It arrived barely warm, contained raclette cheese but also goat cheese (for someone who doesn't like it, it's not cool not to mention it), and no bacon. I was given a knife that didn't cut. The supposedly delicious chicken supreme was a reheated dish that must have been from the day before. Very disappointed…

17/10/2025: The welcome was very friendly. The ambiance was great, the decor was really nice, and the food was delicious. The owner also spoke a bit of German, which made ordering easier. You can't complain about the price. Unfortunately, they don't have many customers; we were the only ones there today. Highly recommended.

21/11/2025: Very friendly staff! A beautiful green setting with hiking trails starting nearby. Homemade meals. Lovely setting: an old mill with a preserved waterwheel in the guest room area.

26/01/2026: A large group of us went here after my goddaughter's baptism. The service was excellent, as was the food and wine. Nothing beats traditional Lorraine tarte flambee and some Moselle Pinot Noir. The proprietor was an excellent and welcoming host. Highly recommend!
