A small inn, small local bistro which is worth the detour for the kindness and the good meal at a very reasonable price. We recommend this place where many locals meet. We will come back.

21/09/2024: Very average cuisine for a menu at €37! The ingredients and composition of the plates lack quality. The main course came with 10 different sides!! Fries, baked potatoes, steamed potatoes, baked tomatoes, a rösti, ratatouille, cold pasta with vegetables (a leftover lying around in the fridge??), a slice of au gratin zucchini, a puff pastry with cheese and grapes! Everything was very average.

09/09/2024: I called the restaurant on Friday lunchtime to make reservations for the same evening (6 people for a bachelorette party). On the phone I ask the person what time we can arrive at the most, to which I am told 9:30 p.m. Perfect, we leave Villa Pompei at 9:15 p.m. Arriving at 9:25 p.m., a cold welcome from a little lady with glasses. As soon as we sat down at the table she told us; For your information, the kitchen closes at 9:30 p.m. so you'll have to hurry... I don't answer anything. At 9:40 p.m. a waiter comes to take our aperitif order and tells us again that we have to hurry up and choose. Obliged to answer.... if the kitchens close at 9:30 p.m. why not take the last reservations earlier? We would have gone elsewhere... Concerning the starter 2 people in the group we chose the perfect egg with chorizo ​​cream and we were not lucky we came back to see us a little later to tell us that there was no more chorizo ​​cream that it was replaced by lobster sauce, perfect, except that when we served the dishes, an ingredient was missing that we had to ask for...we want to hurry but if there are forgetfulness in the kitchen....c It's not our fault. I also believe that the servers must be informed if certain dishes are no longer available, which was the case, and which was not immediately made clear to us. Regarding the dishes, they were quite good but nothing exceptional. Finally, we order coffees. No digestive offered because "the boss is off"... the joke! €233.10 and nothing... Finally, at the time of the bill, a person pays 25th for a restaurant card, so €233.10 - €25 = €208.10. We decided to divide by 4 what was supposed to come to us at 52.02 but obviously the server had some calculation problems... we paid 53.52€... we are not at 1€... so we didn't say anything to obviously avoid wasting their time. In conclusion, the dishes are correct at reasonable prices.... The deplorable service! ⁰

24/08/2024: 5 Rennradfahrer wollten heute an einem sehr heißen Tag in dieser Café - Restaurant einkehren um mehrere Kaltgetränke sowie Kaffee zu sich zu nehmen. Die Antwort Antwort des Wirtes „Getränke? Sowas yesterday allgemein nicht mehr gemacht. Yesterday gibt es nur Essen“. Auf die Frage wo wir im Ort etwas zum trinken herbekommen „sowas gibt es hier gar nicht mehr!“ Das Local war mit 4 Tischen belegt und bot noch reichlich Platz aber der Wirt hatte es anscheinend nicht nötig 50-60€ zusätzlich zu verdienen.
