02/10/2024: It's not bad. The pizzas are good but the dough inside is not cooked at all. It's not to our taste, maybe they should be like that. Otherwise nothing special. The dishes are well served. The service is friendly and the place is very pleasant.

27/09/2024: We spent a good evening, by a nice little fire. Very nice and pleasant restaurant, good atmosphere in a warm setting. We started with a complimentary appetizer based on salmon and satay sauce, a treat. Then we had the gravlax salmon and the sea casserole as a starter, also very good and well served. Then we continued with the suggestions of the day: salmon fillet with chorizo ​​sauce + creamy risotto + seasonal vegetables and for my part the rossini-style piece of bouché + fries. We ultimately ate very well, the price may seem a little excessive but the food is carefully prepared and the products are of high quality, so it's not shocking at all. We will come back without problem.

15/12/2025: For a special occasion—our parents' 50th wedding anniversary—we decided to celebrate at La Mare au Diable. The reviews were quite good, so we decided to book a table. Upon arrival, the setting was even more pleasant than the photographs had suggested. A cozy atmosphere, attentive staff... We felt right at home. We were treated to an amuse-bouche: a vegetable cannelloni with shrimp and oyster. Unfortunately, my husband is allergic to shrimp, so the chef offered him an excellent salmon verrine. This amuse-bouche whetted our appetites, promising a delightful array of flavors to come. We all opted for the Aurore menu. Our starters included: - foie gras for some - butternut squash velouté for my husband - and a nearly perfect egg for me. We all agreed... The starter lived up to our expectations. For our main courses: - John Dory fillet for some - Veal kidneys for others - and Veal noisette for me. More than just a promise... An explosion of subtle and delicate flavors. For dessert: - Classic tiramisu - A chocolate and pear fondant with vanilla ice cream and balsamic caramel sauce for my husband. - and Cinnamon panna cotta with apples and pumpkin sorbet for me. My husband and I opted for these desserts with their touch of originality... And we weren't disappointed. The chocolate fondant is more of a "molten center." Very pleasant with its hint of balsamic. The pumpkin sorbet took me back to my childhood when my grandmother used to make pumpkin soup for me. Delicious! We will definitely return... Perhaps next year, to celebrate our first wedding anniversary.

09/12/2025: A very nice restaurant, tasteful decor and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and the service was quick for a Saturday lunchtime; we were served very promptly. We ordered Satai Kai (chicken) and Satay Neua (beef) skewers: the meat was well-marinated, tender, and very tasty. The Khao Pad Thai (fried rice with small shrimp, crab meat, and egg) was also good, although the shrimp seemed to come from the supermarket rather than a fishmonger, but that's a minor detail. For dessert, we had soy flan with a scoop of vanilla ice cream: decent, even if soy isn't really my thing. The bill came to around €50 for two people. A very good experience in a warm and inviting setting.

The dishes are expertly prepared, and you can tell they're committed to quality. I highly recommend this place.

The decor is cozy, warm, and very trendy. The staff is incredibly pleasant and friendly. The young, smiling waitress explained the ingredients of each dish with ease. I highly recommend it! If you appreciate good food, you won't be disappointed 😉.

08/12/2025: This is my fourth visit to this restaurant and I'm never disappointed! Both the food and the warm welcome from the servers and the manager are consistently excellent! It's truly a wonderful place for a delicious meal, just the way we like them, and it deserves to be better known for its culinary talent and superb value for money! Eating such a good starter, main course, and dessert for €26, and of this quality, is hard to find! I recommend it 10,000% and I'll be back very soon! Elodie
