25/08/2026: Definitely the best restaurant in Melun. Without any real competition in town, it's one of the rare restaurants/brasserie where you can eat truly well, with plenty of choice, quantity, and quality—a word to the wise. The staff is fantastic, and the decor is lovely too, even if the price is a bit high, but that's typical of all brasseries of this type in the Paris region. In any case, I've been twice and I've never been disappointed, which is great!

30/08/2026: We had dinner tonight with my friends, and the food was generally good. The only exception was the Thai salad with medium-rare beef, where we found a maggot. We pointed it out to the waitress, who assured us she had informed the chef and that a gesture of goodwill would be made (meaning she wouldn't charge us for the dish). Unfortunately, when we got to the till, this gesture wasn't honored, which is a real shame because otherwise, I have no complaints. The service was very good, and the food was generally tasty.

20/09/2026: Several times in this beautiful place, Unfortunately, the quality has plummeted while prices have risen. Barbecue evening: €40 for chicken, merguez sausage, and flank steak (it's meager for the price). The starter was very disappointing, and the dessert was a plate with almost nothing on it (it looked like leftovers). It's a shame for a place that tries to be upscale, with staff who are genuinely very welcoming and attentive. We're not sure we'll return unless there's a serious reassessment of the quality.

11/08/2026: One summer evening before the holidays and the restaurant's closing time. We enjoyed a lovely summer evening on the terrace with a lively (and festive) musical atmosphere provided by a DJ. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious, especially since we took advantage of a special offer before the summer break, trying several dishes (buffet style) with table service.

03/09/2026: Good restaurant, but it's a shame they don't keep their Google listing up to date. It says they're open, but when we arrived, the restaurant was closed for holidays, with no dates given! A wasted trip!

26/08/2026: The best place for Italian food in Montereau-Fault-Yonne. An amazing, family-run team! Plus, the chef Kevin is seriously handsome, David the pizza maker has huge, muscular biceps, and Linda has an exceptional knack for managing this wonderful group. There used to be a gorgeous redhead who worked there, but he's become a star, if the rumors are to be believed... The homemade desserts are to die for, especially the famous strawberry 🍓 and kiwi 🥝 tiramisu.

06/08/2026: Nice bar, but the clientele is very disruptive, specifically older customers who talk about bar food in a very inappropriate way, making crude comments and gestures that shocked me, like touching this young woman's buttocks without her consent. A minimum level of civility should be expected from customers.

It's a very original concept, with a completely offbeat atmosphere. You have to appreciate this style, but personally, I loved it! It gives the place a real identity and is a refreshing change from typical bars. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and efficient. You immediately feel at ease. The portions are generous, the beers are varied and of good quality, and the service is quick. It's a place where you come as much for the atmosphere as for a drink or a meal. If you're looking for a unique place with character, I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be back!

21/09/2026: €9.40 for a pint of Leffe on tap! I can get it cold in a can in Montereau for €2. Yes, it's better on tap, plus there's the service and the glass. But it's outrageously expensive. And if I sit on the terrace, I have a view of dozens of cars and hideous buildings. No, I won't be back. I'll go downtown: €7.50 for a pint and a more welcoming atmosphere. Sorry...

06/09/2026: This restaurant was a wonderful discovery! There were four of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed every dish we were served. Snails, prawns, burgers, steaks... everything was delicious. A special mention goes to the homemade Béarnaise sauce, which was divine. The service was impeccable; everyone was smiling and friendly. We will definitely be back.
