19/07/2026: The product is okay, but it's not a coffee milkshake. They don't always label it as Coca-Cola Zero, which is dangerous for diabetics.

17/07/2026: 1/5 I ordered the Brayonne Salad. The salad was clearly not fresh: several leaves were damaged and unfit to be served. Pieces of apple had also been added, even though they weren't listed in the dish description. The bacon wasn't even crispy. The most shocking thing was the waiter's attitude. Instead of acknowledging the problem, he tried to convince me that everything was fine. No apology, no offer to replace the dish, no gesture of goodwill. A mistake can happen in any restaurant, but refusing to acknowledge an obvious problem and letting a dissatisfied customer leave without any solution is unacceptable. I do not recommend this establishment.

09/08/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant last night, and we will definitely return. A warm welcome, refined and delicious cuisine, an interesting combination of ingredients, a very pleasant dining room, and attentive staff. And a few culinary surprises to enhance the meal! In short: a very enjoyable evening. A big thank you to the entire team and congratulations to the chef.

04/08/2026: The meal started well: the aperitif was very good, the small amuse-bouches perfect, and the starters equally so, but the main courses and especially the desserts (the mille-feuille) lacked cream. The service seemed a bit lost. The aperitif could have been enjoyed outside.

11/08/2026: The nuggets were very pale, the fries white and soggy, so not very appetizing to begin with. But the most disturbing thing was finding a fly in my burger, which I discovered when I opened it later. It was between the burger and the cardboard ring that held it together. This is clearly unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint. And unfortunately, the service didn't make up for everything else: no greeting, no smile. When I said hello myself, the only response I got was a simple "89," without even a friendly reply. Between the poor quality of the food, the hygiene issues, and the particularly cold welcome, I left feeling frankly disappointed.

28/05/2026: The rooms with sea views are truly lovely; I fell asleep to the sound of the waves. The hotel has a nice atmosphere. You do have to be prepared to climb a very long flight of stairs from the street, and then another flight or two. But the hotel has a lot of charm. The €10 breakfast is ordinary but adequate, with very friendly staff. The restaurant, however, is another story. It has a beautiful sea view, which is nice. But the prices are high for average quality. And above all, in our case, the service was interminable... an hour between the starter and the main courses... an extra glass of wine that finally arrived when we had finished everything... (with a "you're welcome," seemingly to teach me some manners after my failure to say thank you!). It was very annoying, a shame. We obviously decided against having dessert for fear of being stuck there even longer.

16/05/2026: Television with only one working channel, no hand soap, only one power outlet in the room, breakfast at €10 per person with very limited choices… Cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Only the view from the room is decent. The reception also needs improvement…

30/07/2026: The waiter was condescending, rubbing his nose without washing his hands; his hygiene was pretty questionable, in my opinion. Then he downed a can of beer with a cigarette in his mouth in front of customers during service—talk about being the king of cleanliness! The taco was bland. As soon as you walked in, it felt like Friday morning next to the fishmonger; everyone was shouting. Frankly, I wouldn't recommend it. Don't hesitate to bring earplugs. Good luck.

20/04/2026: We had an extraordinary time with a team who managed to bring heart and meaning to a situation that could have turned out better despite their efforts. Salia family and Mustafa are exceptionally generous and wonderfully kind. More than just a cooking class, it was a magnificent experience. The tasting was incredibly delicious and excellent! Thank you to this exceptional team, and we recommend La Cantine 2000%!

28/03/2026: How awful: cold, greasy black pudding, a plate of Thai-style pasta!! What Thai?? Spaghetti with tomato sauce thrown on top... It's a mess!

20/05/2026: Hello, I'm very disappointed. It's not my first time here, but today wasn't great. The food was tasteless, the portions were small, and to top it off, they sent us an email offering a 25% discount on a dish, which ended up costing me more than if I had ordered a set menu. However, a big thank you to our server Kilian, who was very kind and pleasant compared to other servers. I know how to speak up when things aren't right, but sincerely, a big thank you to Kilian.

21/04/2026: I arrived and wondered where the cats were. The cashier wasn't very friendly, but honorable mention to the waiter who was quite nice! Disappointed, I don't recommend it!

20/04/2026: We stumbled upon this place during our visit to Rouen and were drawn in by the cats sleeping peacefully in the window, which immediately catch the eye of passersby and tourists. The menu also tempted us to go in for lunch. We ordered a galette (savory buckwheat crepe) with a beer, and it was delicious. The service was very friendly, and the decor is truly original: there are so many references everywhere, you hardly know where to look! It's so vibrant and different from what you usually see! We had a wonderful time; it was a delightful surprise that we highly recommend!

11/04/2026: Far from the center of Rouen, but hotel prices are high in Rouen, so this was the cheapest we found besides a Formula 1 hotel. There's a large shopping center nearby. The rooms are clean. It's a shame our two rooms, for a family booking, were so far away. No elevator. Large parking lot. Quiet.

07/04/2026: The room wasn't very clean (it didn't even seem like they'd vacuumed), and the dust on the headboard was a nightmare. Otherwise, it's cheap. Don't forget to turn off the fan; it flashes all night, making it as bright as day. Breakfast at €13.90 is a bit pricey considering the poor quality. Overripe fruit, sour fruit salad, and to top it all off, fermented applesauce... in short, I wouldn't recommend it.

02/08/2026: A truly excellent meal. You can taste the homemade quality and the love of cooking. I enjoy it every time.
