20/05/2026: Hello, I'm very disappointed. It's not my first time here, but today wasn't great. The food was tasteless, the portions were small, and to top it off, they sent us an email offering a 25% discount on a dish, which ended up costing me more than if I had ordered a set menu. However, a big thank you to our server Kilian, who was very kind and pleasant compared to other servers. I know how to speak up when things aren't right, but sincerely, a big thank you to Kilian.

05/05/2026: I wholeheartedly recommend this place! The atmosphere at La Madeleine is both warm and welcoming. A huge thank you to the owner, Arthur, for his kindness and helpfulness, as well as to his entire team. As for the food, the dishes are always excellent. Go without hesitation!

04/04/2026: They offer a menu with several choices, the food is very well cooked and delicious. Our only complaint is the very slow service; we waited a long time, over an hour and a half for our main course and dessert!

11/04/2026: Far from the center of Rouen, but hotel prices are high in Rouen, so this was the cheapest we found besides a Formula 1 hotel. There's a large shopping center nearby. The rooms are clean. It's a shame our two rooms, for a family booking, were so far away. No elevator. Large parking lot. Quiet.

07/04/2026: The room wasn't very clean (it didn't even seem like they'd vacuumed), and the dust on the headboard was a nightmare. Otherwise, it's cheap. Don't forget to turn off the fan; it flashes all night, making it as bright as day. Breakfast at €13.90 is a bit pricey considering the poor quality. Overripe fruit, sour fruit salad, and to top it all off, fermented applesauce... in short, I wouldn't recommend it.

12/07/2026: We went to eat at La Croix d'Or for the third time, and I must say it was a real pleasure to eat such delicious food. Louis is an extraordinary chef with excellent dish ideas.

27/07/2026: That man was really mega mega friendly. They were the first pizzas on a freshly warmed-up oven. The pizzas were really mediocre. The cheese was barely melted. Not tasty!! We probably should have gone back to report it, because they were extremely friendly people.

10/06/2026: Without a doubt, the best pizzas around! The dough is excellent, the ingredients are fresh and generous, and every pizza is a real treat. You can taste the skill and passion in every order. In addition to the quality of the food, the welcome is always warm, friendly, and welcoming. You feel right at home every time you visit. 18/06/2026: My wife and I went there for dinner. We ordered the four-course set menu for €38 and were absolutely delighted. The food was delicious and the portions were incredibly generous. We were full and happy as we headed back to the car.

14/06/2026: Meal organized by an association. The service was far too slow and very poorly organized. The meal... what can I say? The starter was surely frozen, overheated, and hard to cut and eat. The tournedos were practically raw, served with string—it's the first time I've ever seen this presentation in a restaurant. The foie gras was pan-fried and undercooked. All of this was served with three asparagus spears. And the gratin dauphinois was completely cold. The dessert was equally disappointing; I don't think they're equipped to handle large meals. It's a shame because it's a beautiful place.
