30/08/2026: As a loyal customer for a decade, I highly recommend the Palais d'Or. The all-you-can-eat buffet offers a varied selection (wok dishes, grilled meats, Asian classics) with excellent value for money. The staff is welcoming and maintains a very pleasant, family-run atmosphere, even though their job isn't always easy when dealing with sometimes disrespectful customers. A big thank you to the whole team for their hard work!

06/08/2026: We had seen the positive reviews before going, and once we arrived, we received a very warm welcome from the staff and the owner. A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The ambiance is great, with some music playing, and the owner telling jokes and even coming in costume to entertain us. The decor is also nice. And the meal... From the appetizer to the dessert, nothing disappointed us. There were six of us at the table, and we were all very satisfied. We will definitely be back.

01/07/2026: Excellent and perfectly prepared pizzas (cooked in a wood-fired oven... just the way we like them 👍 and generously topped on a superb crust). The owners personally handle the preparation and cooking, and the food is delicious 👌. A warm welcome from the young staff who seat and serve. We are usually served by the young waitress known as "Bobo," who is attentive and very pleasant. Kudos to her for her speed and kindness 🙏. One star 🌟 less for the atmosphere, as we've been customers for a long time. This establishment was extremely busy before Covid, and with the current situation, business has declined, as in many restaurants. It's a shame for these restaurateurs who have always worked hard and are dedicated to customer satisfaction. They are truly deserving 👍. Thank you, gentlemen. Pascale and Gérard 🙏 See you soon.

06/09/2026: Fantastic little find in St Maxime! When you want a change from the usual French options, go to Namaste where Mr Manish Sharma and friends will welcome with a delightful array of Indian dishes.

20/08/2026: A lovely shop, a lucky find. Run by wine enthusiasts. They give great advice. A wide range of prices, from a few euros to several hundred and more. They also have a few fine bottles for those who might be tempted.

23/07/2026: Stupid place being 74 l think l look old enought to gamble, the high testosterone door man asked for id..l felt good to be asked... show English and Canadian drivers license, nope l need passport... who carrys around a passport for a night on the town.. They were checking younger peoples id no passport and being let in???? Well lost money

31/08/2026: The meals were good but far too generous, impossible to finish... the lost and found management at the hotel reception leaves much to be desired (they had trouble finding a forgotten cap even though they had taken a photo of it...).

28/08/2026: We come here regularly, living in Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël. The menu and dishes are very good, beautifully presented, and well-cooked. Usually, the waiter or waitress is friendlier. It's a shame, perhaps they were tired at the end of the season. We noticed that the staff's uniforms were a bit drab, too dark for the summer months. Otherwise, everything was perfect. We will return both individually and with our associations.

19/08/2026: I came on a friend's recommendation, and I can confirm the pizza was excellent. We ordered a Provençal and a Raclette with salmon instead. Both were perfect; the crust was fantastic, as was the sauce and everything else. I highly recommend it; you won't be disappointed.

05/08/2026: We were told, "Lee's is an institution." YES, but... fifty years ago, this venerable establishment may have served innovative, exotic, and delicious cuisine. Today, the food is very, very average... with overcooked chicken, overcooked prawns, and even the salad lacking freshness as common denominators! On the other hand, the welcome was charming and impeccable, with a member of the family offering to replace our dishes to make us feel welcome. We were indeed pampered (being the only diners in the dining room). But we remain unconvinced; the cooking, the quality of the ingredients, and the sauces need improvement. Thank you nonetheless for your kindness.

07/07/2026: We came for lunch on a weekday. The entrance wasn't very inviting, but once you step inside, you're greeted with a smile and an uncommon kindness and warmth. We ordered the set menu, and everything was fresh and homemade. From the appetizer to the main course, everything was perfect. Nothing like those all-you-can-eat chains. A must-try.
