02/06/2026: Simple, good, and quick—what more could you ask for, especially on a Sunday? Friendly service, though a bit rushed. €66 for two with a bottle of wine, excellent. Menu varies. Reservations not accepted. June 2025: Reservations are now possible. Prices have gone up. €161 for two with a bottle of wine. That must be due to the menu. I didn't see a set menu. Good quality.

06/04/2026: A magnificent setting, reflecting the warm welcome and the quality of the food. A huge thank you to all the staff for your kindness, smiles, and professionalism. 06/09/2026: I ordered seafood pasta when I saw "fresh pasta." Being a bit of a connoisseur, I can almost certainly say that the pasta wasn't fresh and was definitely overcooked. As for the seafood, it was just a bag from the freezer hastily added to a very mediocre sauce. Given the Google ratings, I'm struggling to understand. My partner ordered a pizza. The crust wasn't too bad, but aside from an astronomical amount of unspeakable, greasy cheese, that was it. In short, I'd rather eat at home than eat that.

02/07/2026: Very, very good for healthy, protein-rich food; delicious and well-seasoned. It's a shame the restrooms were out of order; I would have eaten there.

27/05/2026: Normally a great, super tasty experience, but not tonight!!! Very disappointed with this visit. The bowl was barely full, and several items I ordered were missing. And yet, the price hadn't gone down! No garlic yogurt. It was impossible to order anything else on the restaurant's screens. I don't think I'll be going back.

09/08/2026: Pizza? Or rather, something resembling it: an ultra-thin crust. But don't even think about going there: the hostess isn't even taking orders anymore, the wait is so incredibly long.

09/08/2026: A huge disappointment, I won't be back… I ordered a vegetarian pizza a few days ago, for the first time at this pizzeria, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. The cheese, especially the mozzarella, didn't seem fresh at all and had a very strong odor, which is frankly worrying for a product that's supposed to be fresh. The pizza was also completely burnt underneath, to the point that some parts were difficult to eat. As for the vegetarian pizza, I was very disappointed to see that there was practically nothing inside: large pieces of tomato that looked damaged, barely cut, as well as large eggplant peels, with no real care taken in the preparation. For a vegetarian pizza, it was really very meager and, above all, unappetizing. I'm from Paris and I'm staying in the Var region for about a month. I wanted to explore the local shops and restaurants, but this was a very bad experience. Thankfully, not all pizzerias in the Var region are like this one. I'm really disappointed, especially for my first order. Given the quality of the ingredients and the cooking, I honestly don't think I'll be back, even though I'll be nearby for my entire stay.

23/09/2026: Once a wonderful place, now a huge disappointment We used to love coming to Marius à la Plage. Back then, the service was attentive, warm, and efficient. The waiters brought olives with our aperitifs, orders arrived quickly, and we felt truly welcome. On our last visit, unfortunately, none of that atmosphere remained. The lovely seats by the beach had been replaced by uncomfortable and frankly unattractive sun loungers. But the worst part was the service: the staff were demotivated, unpleasant, and completely indifferent to the customers. If you don't speak perfect French, you're also looked down upon. I'd like to know how many of the staff members would be able to serve their customers in German, English, or any other foreign language. The €12 mojito was essentially just water with a few mint leaves, a little lemon, and ice cubes. It was hardly a real mojito at all. More generally, the prices are far too high for the quality offered. You pay restaurant prices for food that's more like snacks. The staff seems to be made up of young seasonal workers who clearly have neither the desire to serve nor the slightest notion of hospitality. I very rarely leave such negative reviews, but this time, the disappointment is too great. There are much better seaside restaurants in and around Gigaro. You can find several of them in my other reviews. We won't be returning, and I strongly advise against this establishment.

21/09/2026: We went here for dinner in the evening, just the two of us, and had made a reservation in advance, which wasn't really necessary in the off-season. We sat in the front row, which wasn't exactly pleasant due to the rather strong wind. Moving inside would have been possible, but wouldn't have made much difference. We received our appetizers (fish soup, chicken rolls) and sardines and cod for the main course. To put it simply: the best thing about the meal was the wine. You can buy fish soup and ratatouille in any supermarket, and the sardines were either old or frozen. For that, the prices are too high. But of course, you're also paying for the location. The service and ambiance are good. We wouldn't come back.

02/05/2026: Beautiful campsite by the sea. Friendly staff. Campsite shop very pleasant. Wi-Fi expensive and poor quality. Sometimes loud music from the restaurant until late in the evening. It is good that dogs are not allowed. Beautiful walking path along the sea from the campsite. Unfortunately, despite the ban, there are still cyclists on the walking path.

17/08/2026: We were coming back from Saint-Tropez with friends when a sudden craving for a kebab struck! Little Café was our next stop, and the verdict was: Don't go! The worst kebab I've ever eaten (I swear, I swear!), a homemade white sauce that would have been better store-bought, a patty as thin as the waitress's jokes, meat that tasted like rubber, and to top it all off, there was water from the port of Saint-Max in the end. In short, inedible. Sincerely,

15/08/2026: Sorry, but aside from the friendly welcome and kindness of the waitresses, I really didn't appreciate the quality of their kebab... The "fresh" fries were probably from the day before because they weren't crispy at all and were extremely dry, just disgusting, and I mean it! And don't even get me started on the baguette used for the kebab, which was so hard it was practically inedible! It was a real challenge! I think it would be a good idea to taste your sandwiches before offering them to customers because there's clearly a problem with the preparation! The place was empty when I arrived and I was the only customer, so it clearly wasn't due to a rush that would have explained this situation, which is a shame! And I think, like most people, I was misled by the Google reviews, which were strangely high. Usually, ratings are significant, but in this case, they weren't! Disappointed with this experience.

05/08/2026: Hello, I tried this pizza delivery. The delivery driver was quick and friendly. However, I unfortunately do not recommend this pizza, due to the owner of this pizzeria. I ordered the fresh tomato, cheese, basil, and olive pizza. The crust was burnt around the edges and undercooked inside. The crust wasn't thin or crispy. As for the toppings, expect the "fresh tomatoes" to be tasteless, even though they're in season. They were roughly chopped, and the basil was cooked, not added at the end. The sauce wasn't salty at all. €14.90 is too expensive!

20/08/2026: My boyfriend and I came here for 3 days in a row. Pan bagnat is AMAZING, ingredients are super fresh, and very generous. Same for Niçoise salad. Very suggested for a summer take away dinner/lunch.

23/08/2026: Watch out for the bill! Nice restaurant, good food. But… when the bill arrived, when I should have paid 23 + 24 + 10 = 57, the owner, who speaks in Italian (!), presented me with a card machine for €59 plus the tip = €67!!!!! What is this? France or Italy? If that isn't robbery, I don't know what is 😡

31/08/2026: Today we had lunch at Restaurant La Ciboulette. The restaurant offers a breathtaking view. We received a superb welcome from charming staff. The set menu (main course and dessert) was very generous and of excellent quality. Congratulations to the chef! We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment... And if we have the opportunity, we will gladly return.

25/05/2026: Nice hotel, very pleasant heated seawater pool, the hammam is very relaxing at the end of the day. In my opinion, breakfast and aperitifs are a bit pricey.

25/05/2026: Located directly on the beachfront, with a walkway leading to the beach next to the solarium. We stayed in a Comfort Plus room with a superb view of the garden and the sea. The room was clean and quite spacious, with excellent mattresses and pillows. The staff was very pleasant, especially the lifeguard who was with us on Saturday and Sunday evenings – a real treat! The seawater pool was lovely. We didn't try the restaurants or the thalassotherapy center. The only downside was the parking lot filling up quickly, with guests easily taking up two spaces. A minimum of one space should be allocated per room.
