29/10/2024: Essential address in Nice. Warm, hearty, delicious.... The team is very friendly, professional. To do without hesitation. And for even more comfort there is parking 15m from the hostel.

26/01/2025: Excellent tapas restaurant...Japanese. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All the tapas that the four of us ordered were excellent and interesting. Very nice cellar too. Special mention from our daughter for the tiramisu... adapted. In short, everything very good.

13/01/2025: I had by far the most amazing and authentic Japanese cuisine ever in Nice!! Variety of sake menu and foods were just so delicious and fine. I was amazed that eveything there was made in the house! The service was very attentive too. Sashimi was super fresh and karaage(fried chicken) and okonomiyaki(savory pancake) were especially so tasty and very authentic. I’ll definitely come back!

20/09/2024: Updated 09/24 OMG, cold ramen!!! A logical (and yeah, that's what you should order at 40° - duh) and gustatory (absolute delight) revelation. Since then, I've only had one idea in mind: to go back and order several portions, just for me. --- 2023 Homemade ramen, delicate broth, beautiful Japanese dishes. Simplicity but also a warm and smiling welcome. There's a bit of a wait, it's true, but I really liked this place. Staff attentive to food allergies.

26/08/2024: What a sublime place for gastronomic cocooning! Jason - your pro in the selection of meats and wines - and his other half who is head chef in the kitchen welcome you... deliciously in a temple of MEAT (but there is always a great fish too!) and with accompaniments of gratins, mille-feuilles and purees and other vegetables from Saiyson and the local area to die for!!! The gratin dauphinois is worth the detour! Just like the marrow bone (a tibia cut in two along its length!) which we will share with pleasure.... A very nice gastro 'bistro' without fuss, authentic, where you feel good and where everything savored with tranquility and joy. Well done ! Not to be missed and ideal for celebrating with friends as well as for an intimate or family meal..... See you soon!

23/08/2024: Visited this lovely intimate bistro with French friends. This place is excellent especially if you like beef and great wine. It is modern in style, classic in flavour using the very best, high quality produce. The service is also excellent - friendly, knowledgeable and happy to please. The steak is great and there was an amazing sausage made with pork and wagyu beef. The vegetable dishes were very good too with a delicious buttery potato and carrot mille-feuille and dauphinoise. The house sangria cocktail was the best sangria I’ve ever had. This maybe a small restaurant but it is big on flavour, style and not too pricey.

12/12/2024: A true scent of Asia. Once through the door we find ourselves transported to China. The flavors are divine and the welcome is adorable, as if you were coming to eat with friends. Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in town!

11/08/2024: This is a really authentic french family owned place and would recommend as a tourist looking for the real deal. The menu changes a lot based on what they have. Service was excellent and so was the food. One of our favourite places on the trip so far!

08/08/2024: Great little restaurant, the welcome is very warm, you feel good there! The sangria and homemade lemonade were very cold and the dishes tasty! I highly recommend :)

26/09/2024: I came to Lou Pantail on the recommendation of a friend who promised me that everything was excellent, and... she was right! The starter, the main course, including the cocktail and the service, everything was absolutely perfect. Congratulations to the entire team for this exceptional experience. It's my turn to recommend this place, and I will happily come back as soon as I'm back in Nice!

24/09/2024: Restaurant serving delicious Nice cuisine with efficient service, unfortunately dishes a little expensive, nice decoration, second course system when you dine in the first course you feel pushed towards the exit! In a group the addition is complicated and yes reflection of the service young people of 20 can have more money than more people contrary to the reflection made! On the other hand, choice of music and nice candles during dessert on the occasion of a birthday! To be recommended by a smaller committee.

28/08/2024: Visiting from NYC and we stumbled upon this lovely place for Lunch, Breakfast or Brunch depending on your internal clock. The food was great! We had the dish of the day: Crevette (shrimp) in a yellow curry accompanied by rice with raisins. The Cappuccino was great, service was impeccable, everyone was very hospitable and it was quite affordable given how expensive everything in town is. Love this place and I will be back when I return! Thank you!

24/09/2024: Passing through Nice for our family trip, we had a great time as a family in this Japanese restaurant. We were all pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes (Katsudon in particular). Each flavor was authentic and perfectly mastered, a real treat for the taste buds! Even my Japanese in-laws, who are used to traditional Japanese food, were impressed. It's rare to find such quality outside of Japan, and even more so in France. If we pass through Nice again, we will come back without hesitation! Congratulations to the chef for this successful culinary journey.
