01/08/2026: For several years now, Lou Pelandroun has been a regular treat for me. The pissaladières are incredibly delicious, with a crispy crust and beautifully caramelized onions, which is rare. I also discovered the pichade there, a kind of pissaladière with tomato sauce and oregano, which I enjoy regularly. The Pan Bagnat are flavorful, generously filled with artichoke, spring onions, anchovies, and basil, served in fresh bakery bread. The sweet chard tart is also delicious. It's best to come during the pissaladière preparation times at 8:00, 10:00, and 11:00, and be prepared to wait, as the restaurant's popularity means there's a long wait and everything sells out very quickly. One small drawback: I've noticed several times that the waiter with the bowl-shaped cuts lacks friendliness and enthusiasm. But apart from that, there's nothing to complain about! Don't hesitate to go and discover this place if you want to taste the good taste of traditional Niçoise cuisine.

03/04/2026: We're traveling in a campervan and stopped for dinner at this restaurant. We were so lucky to find it open; the owners are very friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming, and the food is delicious. I wouldn't leave without trying the brioche for dessert—it's incredibly delicious. We might even go back the next morning before we leave for another one as a farewell treat. 100% recommended!

02/04/2026: I just learned of the closure of this excellent restaurant. What a sad loss for Roubion, and incomprehensible that the town hall refused to renew the lease. It was a restaurant that was doing very well, though.

19/05/2026: A very friendly hotel with a pleasant atmosphere. Gianni, in particular, who served us at breakfast, provided excellent service with his professional expertise and extensive experience. He was always attentive and warm, and he also lovingly looked after the children. This made us feel very welcome every morning. The room, service, and location were also very good. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

19/05/2026: We spent one night at this hotel for a birthday party held there. What can I say... First, let's start with the reception. The welcome was disastrous, with poorly trained and unfriendly staff, unworthy of an Accor hotel. There was an endless queue just to get our room key, which, on top of everything else, had already been paid for that very morning. I was also outraged to see that, both on arrival and departure, the staff tried to charge me for breakfasts I never received! Pay close attention to the bill or you risk being ripped off! Secondly, the room. We were very disappointed considering the price we paid and the standard we expected from an Accor establishment. The room was clearly outdated, with dated decor and amenities that desperately need updating. The soundproofing was practically nonexistent: we could hear conversations from neighboring rooms and doors slamming all the way down the hall at the end of the floor, making for a particularly unpleasant night. As for the bathroom, it was very disappointing, with amenities more suited to a campsite than a hotel of this category. Overall, the value for money is far from justified by the prices charged. Finally, the most disappointing aspect was the organization of my mother's birthday party, for which a private room and catering service had been reserved. Given the services charged and the establishment's claimed level of service, the result was simply disastrous. The charcuterie boards ordered as an extra were particularly meager and of poor quality, far below what one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The hot dishes were served in small cardboard bowls, giving an extremely low-end and neglected impression. Furthermore, corkage fees were charged even though no real service was provided: bottles remained empty on the tables without being replaced or refilled, wine wasn't served to the guests, and the Prosecco service was also woefully inadequate. This gives the impression of paying for services that, in reality, were never actually delivered. Perhaps the most incomprehensible aspect is the complete lack of attention to detail surrounding the event itself: it was a birthday party that had been clearly announced and organized in advance, yet not a single candle was provided for the cake. This detail may seem trivial, but it perfectly illustrates the lack of preparation and consideration we felt throughout the evening. Finally, despite all the organization put in place and the numerous exchanges beforehand, my mother never even met the hotel's event manager or the catering manager, which is particularly surprising and unprofessional for this type of event. Avoid at all costs!!!

13/08/2026: A lovely welcome awaits you at this charming little Italian restaurant! The menu is short, the food is home-style and authentic, just like eating at home. You feel like you've stepped into a small Italian village from long ago. A delightful interlude that transported us. ❤️

09/08/2026: The building itself is a stunning landscape and courtyard. In summer, it offers both respite from the heat and immersion in art. It features numerous sculptures by Spanish and Swiss artists. The restaurant's pine trees and the entire brick building make every corner of the Mediterranean scenery a picturesque scene.

08/08/2026: Very beautiful works, but accessibility is completely lacking. Several rooms were not visited because access was impossible due to stairs and lack of assistance from the staff. The Miro labyrinth is also completely inaccessible. A real shame for this gem, which contains very interesting and beautiful works. It's worth a visit, but the staff could use a rethink, and the foundation needs to be restructured to make all rooms accessible, not just a few.

25/07/2026: Excellent, typical Provençal restaurant in Old Nice. The dishes are delicious and very generous, as are the desserts. The service is impeccable and the staff are truly friendly. I highly recommend their daube and ravioli, which are absolutely delicious!

21/07/2026: A wonderful discovery in Old Nice. We enjoyed excellent Niçoise specialties with Italian influences, prepared with care and bursting with flavor. The service was as good as the food: warm, professional, and exceptionally attentive. We also greatly appreciated the staff's helpfulness; they spontaneously found a way to make the restrooms easily accessible for one member of our group. This thoughtful touch perfectly reflects their commitment to service. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, both for the quality of the food and the warm welcome.

20/07/2026: Road is less spectacular than my expectations. Other passes-cols in the region are more exciting. Not great views on the top , but still a mitical road for bikers and rallye fans

07/07/2026: Every curve was different, the landscape constantly changing, and that's true for the entire route. I hadn't expected so much greenery in this magnificent natural setting; the fairness of this route makes it truly unique. This route is very manageable for experienced bikers. Beyond the Col de Turini, a section of the Tour de France begins, which is also breathtaking. I have to go back there.
