06/09/2026: The food was good and of high quality. However, the service was very disappointing: lack of attention, excessive waiting time, and an unfriendly welcome. It's a shame, because the quality of the food is excellent, but the service really needs improvement.

11/08/2026: My friends and I were at a restaurant. We booked through the booking platform with a 50% discount. Once there, we were told the discount was only 30%, and that if we weren't happy, we could leave. The problem between the restaurant and the booking platform isn't the customers' fault; why should the customers be responsible for resolving the issue between the restaurant and the website? It's absolutely not the customer's responsibility. And there's no compensation for the poor service. It wasn't very customer-friendly, plus the restaurant was empty, and with that kind of behavior, I'm not surprised. I'm disappointed and I don't recommend going there.

28/08/2026: Increasingly, the maintenance is seriously lacking (erratic and uncollected grass cutting, weed-infested bunkers, tee boxes in need of repair, significant brush clearing required, some greens diseased). Unacceptable given the prices charged and the reputation of the place. Only the clubhouse and restaurant stand out. In short, disappointing as it stands.

08/08/2026: Catastrophic… Today, I played the 9T (Le Grand Duc) with a friend and my son. I could have taken a picture of every tee and green on every hole, it's so appalling: unmowed and uneven tees, fairways more like an abandoned football pitch than a golf course, neglected bunkers, unkempt areas just a few meters from the green, and some greens completely unplayable. Two holes, one in particular, are practically unplayable because of trees that prevent you from taking a normal shot. I've also played the 18T many times, having lived in Mandelieu for several years. The quality is getting worse and worse: tees, bunkers, and greens. Work is indeed underway, but the prices have increased incredibly and unjustifiably given the actual improvements. The putting green in the practice area today is the worst I've ever seen! It's always been in bad shape. A few weeks ago, it was actually quite acceptable, and the recent heatwaves certainly haven't helped, but I've been to Monaco, Aix-en-Provence, St. Endréol, St. Donat, and other golf courses in the region recently, and none of them are in such a state. €45 for 9 holes in its current condition is a rip-off. €130 for 18 holes is absolutely unjustified given the maintenance of this otherwise historic course. To put my comment into perspective, the surroundings are magnificent, as are the clubhouse and restaurant, and the brand-new chub house in the practice area is really nice. My criticism, therefore, focuses on the golfing itself, where the value for money is disastrous. My handicap is 4.7, and I've played on hundreds of golf courses worldwide, which allows me to make comparisons and offer this opinion. It might be wise to offer rates that are more accessible to the average person in the town and region who loves this beautiful sport.

15/05/2026: It took us some time... But we're convinced... A truly excellent pastry shop. A Saint Honoré just the way we like it, a delicious Tropézienne... And its prices are fair too.

20/08/2026: Very satisfied with the experience. The lady who greeted us was very friendly and full of helpful advice. The only slight issue is parking; you need a bit of luck depending on the time of day (otherwise, there's free parking a 4-5 minute walk away). The room was well air-conditioned and adequately equipped. Excellent value for money.

27/05/2026: We had a fantastic stay in mid-May at this family-run hotel! Ask for a room with a panoramic view: seeing that green and blue before you, as if there were no buildings in the area, is magical. The property is, in my opinion, sublime. And if a noisy neighbor prevents you from fully enjoying the place, the owner will find a solution! All the best to everyone.

21/08/2026: The waitress (an elderly woman who appeared to be the owner), who was also very unpleasant in her interactions with us, tried to force us to buy bottled water and refused to give us a carafe of water, claiming that other customers had already asked for some and that she "didn't have any more carafes." It was only after we reminded her of the law that she finally agreed to bring us water: a small pitcher normally used for beer, filled with lukewarm water, for four people—in the middle of summer and by the sea. As a reminder, **a restaurant cannot force its customers to buy bottled water.** Article **L. 541-15-10 of the French Environmental Code** stipulates that restaurants and bars must clearly indicate the possibility of requesting free drinking water and must provide their customers with access to **fresh or room-temperature drinking water, free of charge.** If you encounter the same situation, you can report it on **SignalConso**, the official platform of the DGCCRF (French Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control). Response to the restaurant: Reminding customers of the law when an establishment refuses to comply with it is neither presumptuous nor impolite. However, as many other negative reviews demonstrate, we are far from the only ones who found the elderly woman extremely unpleasant and rude. The refusal to provide free drinking water also appears to be a common occurrence. I would like to point out, however, that the young waiter, on the other hand, was delightful and very professional. This certainly helps explain the numerous positive reviews left for this establishment.

19/08/2026: A message to all tourists: beware! The waitress, in order to sell bottled water for a fee, told me that carafes of water were no longer available. It's good to know that in France, bars and restaurants are required to provide drinking water to their customers free of charge during meals. Furthermore, in Nice, as in the rest of France, tap water is drinkable and perfectly suitable for consumption. There's therefore no need to pay €10 for a bottle of water, especially when you can simply ask for a carafe d'eau.

17/07/2026: A restaurant to avoid at all costs. The food is more than mediocre, I'd even say downright bad. You'll find fries, pizza, and very Asian-looking ham... The restaurant is horribly noisy because it's too big and poorly laid out, as if to avoid wasting space. And the bill is outrageously expensive. Truly pathetic.
