06/07/2026: 2 octopus salads with frozen matchstick fries + 2 pseudo-Milanese escalopes also with frozen fries that were practically two meters away: €93...... Appalling service, dubious quality, absolutely avoid....

04/06/2026: The pizzas weren't expensive, but given what they were, it's understandable... The crust was very thin and the pizza wasn't loaded enough. I ordered a goat cheese and honey pizza, and I couldn't taste the honey at all. Very disappointed.

15/06/2026: We went as a group of 8 people. 3 ate entrecote (dry and tough meat), 2 people ate pasta (tasteless). 3 ate the duck, which was okay. Expensive for what they offered.

13/06/2026: I don't usually leave ratings or reviews, but my partner and I had such a disastrous experience that I feel compelled to... We ordered grilled octopus that arrived practically cold and anything but grilled, a salad that was as bland as could be... mussels marinière that were barely edible and literally swimming in murky water... The food has nothing to do with Niçoise cuisine, just like the people who run the place. A waitress, presumably the owners' daughter, who would be wise to consider a career change... We replaced one dish with another, which was edible, but nothing special... This restaurant may cater to tourists, whose palates and wallets deserve respect. In short, a restaurant on the Cours to avoid.

03/07/2026: A very nice place. We were disappointed by the delicious rabbit terrine, but the small bones detracted from the enjoyment. The meringue tart was a huge disappointment. 😞 We would like to thank you for your gesture of goodwill.

24/06/2026: A seaside restaurant with terraces equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas to spend moments of true relaxation with a wonderful view and a spectacular sea‼️ I would have liked to have dinner again, but exceptionally for dinner yesterday and today it was closed🤷🏼‍♀️they have excellent French cuisine‼️ What left me perplexed was the lack of attention in communicating when booking the beach service the closing time at 5.30 pm ... considering that the daily cost is not indifferent, even if largely justified by the location with normal opening hours‼️ What can I say... maybe it was a bad day🤣🥴‼️‼️

04/04/2026: As regulars at this brasserie, today, Monday, November 10th, we ordered two steak tartares that weren't as good as usual. Plus, the side of fries and salad was ridiculously overpriced; we had to search for the fries under the salad. The fries themselves were very good, but the portion was tiny, and fries are cheap. The atmosphere was pleasant because we didn't see the owner, who is really not welcoming. This is just my opinion, but it's a shame to see this. I think we'll be going much less often, and besides, the daily specials are now too expensive. It must be because of the war in Iran 😁

10/04/2026: Excellent experience at this shop. We were in the area for a graduation ceremony and had a very short window to buy a suit, shirts, trousers, shoes, etc. Brice was incredibly helpful. He took his time with the fittings and gave excellent advice. He's a true professional who knew exactly what my son liked. He loves everything we bought. The clothes are very high quality, they fit beautifully, and they're comfortable to wear. We saved precious time. The alterations were done very quickly, given the urgency of the situation. The sales assistant spontaneously offered to iron one of the shirts we bought for the ceremony that same day. The entire team worked together to make this a memorable day. Thank you to them all. I highly recommend this shop where the staff are professional, friendly, attentive, and responsive. All with a smile. If we're ever back in Cannes, we'll definitely return. Without them, none of this would have been possible; we are incredibly grateful! My son looked very elegant. Thank you so much!

18/07/2026: Thank you Pizza Milo. Every week my 96-year-old grandfather asked me for a Milo pizza. Thanks to Milo, the doctors couldn't believe it. 54 pizzas later, my grandfather is still here. Thank you Milo pizza... seriously, this is pizza made with some serious flour...

27/06/2026: The location is good. I ordered a duck breast and it was slightly overcooked. Also, it took about two hours to arrive.

11/07/2026: One of the few late night options for food after a night out in the old town. Visited few times. Slices are very basic on quality and really only something to eat when drunk. Otherwise, not worth visiting.

09/07/2026: I was looking for arancini, and I saw two kinds in the window. I greeted the employee behind the counter and asked him what kind of arancini they were. He replied, "It says so on the label," and disappeared. Well, no, there was only one label, and I didn't know the ingredients of the other one, "Amatriciana." I couldn't even find out more since he stayed near the back of the restaurant. Unpleasant and unprofessional, I left. I'd rather give my money elsewhere.

16/05/2026: We found this place on the spur of the moment. The view was great, as the terrace was right in front of the seaside dock. The food tasted decent on average. Unfortunately, the pesto spaghetti I ordered was under-seasoned, so I had to add quite a bit of salt, but the Dolce Vita Ravioli my husband ordered was absolutely delicious. Perhaps because there weren't many servers during lunchtime, quite a few customers turned away after waiting.

13/05/2026: Les Incompris is a must-visit restaurant in Menton, which makes our experience all the more disappointing. As for the food, the quality was undeniable. The sea bream was delicious, accompanied by a well-prepared ratatouille and pleasant potatoes, even if they were a bit too greasy for our taste. The service, however, proved quite disappointing. The staff were friendly, but lacked attentiveness and, above all, anticipation, which disrupted the flow of the meal. The most problematic aspect was the musical entertainment on the evening of May 12th. The artist adopted a particularly intrusive style, more suited to a party than the atmosphere one expects in a restaurant. Positioned right next to our table, he sang at an excessive volume, making conversation virtually impossible. When choosing a restaurant, it's also to share a convivial moment and chat comfortably with your fellow diners. That evening, the background noise unfortunately turned our dinner into a painful experience and completely ruined what could have been a very nice evening.

19/05/2026: The rooms, service, and location were all quite good. 🏨 However, breakfast was a bit chaotic with many tour bus guests, leading to coffee lines. ☕ And for eggs? You had to boil them yourself, which wasn't ideal. 🍳 Still, a decent stay overall! 👍

13/05/2026: We spent a layover night at the Campanile Nice Airport, room 334. We arrived at 10 p.m. Check-in went smoothly; the young woman was very pleasant and professional (much more so than the cashier who didn't even bother to say hello). From then on, we went from one disappointment to another: The third floor smelled of cannabis resin, even in the room. When we opened the window to air it out, we were greeted by young people on the walkway below, talking loudly and smoking. The television and air conditioning weren't working. The toilet is right up against the wall, which is rather inconvenient when you need to sit down. The shower head was faulty and the soundproofing was nonexistent (we could hear the person sniffling in the next room). We wanted to inform reception of these problems, but there was no phone in the room, and opening the door to go down to reception would have been extremely inconvenient given the smell in the hallway. In short: a night to forget. It's inconceivable, in my opinion, for a hotelier to expect their guests to be happy (and that's an understatement) to leave their room when the alarm rings at 5 a.m. I recommend a thorough walkthrough of the rooms to check the facilities, as the location is excellent, opposite the airport, and must attract a large business clientele who deserve the advertised comfort.

07/07/2026: I came twice in three days. The first time, the welcome was extremely cold and the service unprofessional, but I ate reasonably well, so I went back anyway. The second time, the service was still lacking, and the meat was burnt/black. In short, nothing was right. Overall, a staggering lack of professionalism and a complete disregard for customer service. There are much better Hippos in the country; this one is undoubtedly the worst.

03/07/2026: While the rest of my family were quite happy with their meals, I’d like to share my own experience. We ordered a starter to share, and one of the chicken wings was still bloody inside. That is absolutely unacceptable. For my main course, I ordered a medium T-bone steak with French fries and gratin potatoes. Unfortunately, the steak arrived medium-rare rather than medium, so I returned it to be cooked for another minute. Instead, it came back about 15 minutes later completely well done. Whether it had been left sitting at the pass or simply forgotten about isn’t my concern. The result was that I was left waiting while the rest of my group had already finished eating, and when my meal finally arrived, it was overcooked and missing part of my gratin potatoes. Despite the disappointment with my main course, I was still looking forward to dessert. However, after waiting more than 10 minutes, no one came to take our order. By this stage it was 11 p.m., the restaurant was practically empty, with only around 10 tables to look after, yet it genuinely felt as though the staff were avoiding our table. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Poor food can sometimes be rectified, but in this case the poor service and the inadequate handling of the issues made the experience even worse.
