01/02/2026: I've never eaten so badly in my life. Nothing was right. The bread was defrosted and really not good, the waitress wasn't very pleasant, and the service was incredibly slow—2.5 hours for a table of six with two children who were bursting with impatience. The stew was served cold and greasy, with peppers in the sauce… how original… The overcooked, mass-produced ravioli arrived in a bowl still swimming in cooking water. I don't usually write these kinds of reviews, but avoid this place at all costs… And the dessert… the cherry on top: a raspberry tart with frozen raspberries that barely clung to the base. I took a picture of it exactly as it was served because I'd never seen anything like it before.

03/01/2026: We were welcomed in the late afternoon for a small hot chocolate by a very pleasant, friendly, and humorous lady. She also paid special attention to the small dog that was with us. It's a wonderful place that I wholeheartedly recommend.

03/03/2026: Avoid this restaurant at all costs. The staff is incredibly unpleasant, with the exception of one person, the waiter. This restaurant employs runners who aren't there to help but treat customers very badly. The Milanese-style veal cutlet was ridiculously thin, served with a handful of fries, all for 25 euros. The dish was a disgrace... We're regulars, and this is unacceptable.

01/03/2026: I don't understand the previous reviews! We went there yesterday and it was fantastic! The service was top-notch, the calamari, the escalope, and the truffle gnocchi were all delicious! We even got pasta with homemade sauce instead of fries! Seriously, go there! Wonderful service

21/10/2025: If I could give a minus I would. I bought a drink and sat outside. I then got told to leave, my drink was to go? But he never told me that. And there were many spare seats. Stay clear of this place. And the guy was so rude!!

10/09/2025: The prices were even fair compared to other establishments, but the coffee and no service from the gentleman behind the counter is terrible. He tried to cheat us out of €20 and charge the same table twice, when we tried to explain the mistake he acted crazy. Luckily his colleague was there who understood the problem and refunded our money. All praise for her, I think she is the manager there, but mostly the waiters.

10/03/2026: We went in for an aperitivo with a complimentary plate of drinks, as advertised on the menu. We were served our two glasses of spritz and prosecco... and then nothing! After complaining, the waitress, merely polite, informed us that they weren't serving any that day. Nice to be told after the fact. We then ordered two bruschetta, which were served with a smile by another waiter. We should have read the reviews before going in...

07/03/2026: Lady at the front was very rude because we didn’t speak French even though she knew English. When the food came she dropped it a bit hard on the table probably to be rude. The food was not good. Ordered the gnocchi pesto and spaghetti carbonara both not great. Ultimately upset with how we were treated from the beginning, should have left from the hosts first comment.

25/02/2026: Disastrous service. If the gentleman didn't want to be a shopkeeper, he shouldn't have opened a business. Avoid at all costs!

17/02/2026: I highly recommend it, the welcome and the quality of the food are very good, especially for a mountain restaurant!

11/01/2026: Dirty bakery with very questionable hygiene. Closed for a reason... And I hope it stays that way for a long time; it's horrible to see so much filth 🤢🤢🤢🤢 You'd be much better off just 100 meters down the road; there's no comparison in terms of quality or service.

19/11/2025: We had lunch here one time during our stay in Nice. I had the chicken with orange sauce with rice and Mike had the noodles, both of which were very good. For the price we paid, it was worth it.

28/03/2026: What happened to Le Tire-Bouchon? A creative restaurant that offered samples of any dish in a smaller portion for those who couldn't decide, a restaurant with a full menu featuring three meats, three fish, three vegetables, and three desserts, a restaurant where every dish was carefully considered in both flavor pairings and presentation—well, this restaurant has become a run-down betting shop, serving tired bistro fare and pasta (wow!), and flaunting its reputation for being the dead man of Le Tire-Bouchon. I'm writing this comment later because I stumbled across some old photos from one of my visits to Le Tire-Bouchon, with a salmon dish accompanied by three different creamy soups, which gave the plate a truly striking appearance, and it made me angry again to see the restaurant still bearing the same name.

19/03/2026: The chef... a gem! The presentation of the dishes was impeccable, and above all, the food was absolutely delicious. We'll be back.

08/02/2026: A very warm welcome, the waitress and the owner are charming and their hot chocolate is to die for.

18/01/2026: The food was terrible, and the owner was incredibly unfriendly… Having a restaurant in the heart of Vence and being so unprofessional and rude to customers is a disgrace! Being brushed off simply for going to the restroom is outrageous!

24/08/2025: The delivery driver was very unpleasant when I told him on the phone that he needed to deliver to the bottom of my building.

21/10/2025: The margherita and Neapolitan pizzas are exactly the same, just cheese (not much), tomato and oregano, but they are priced at 7.50€ and 9€. We ordered one of each to take away expecting some sort of difference, but when opened there was no difference yet the shop still asked 9€ for one of the basic pizzas. Friendly welcome though with some English spoken by staff.

26/10/2025: Avoid NOW My previous review was removed. Stayed with my partner, paid for our bed. Was forced to pay a hidden charge and insulted us the whole time in the process. Horrible place. DO NOT GO. I cannot stress this enough. Don’t believe me? Look at the owners response to bad reviews.
