26/04/2026: Unfriendly service that made me not want to stay: breakfast packages with no flexibility because I don't drink coffee, the unpleasant waiter simply made it clear that if it didn't suit me, it wasn't his problem.

16/05/2026: Very disappointed by this restaurant.
The €19 salads are really not worth the price.
The Niçoise salad consisted of an enormous amount of lettuce, some of which was damaged or even rotten. It also contained flowering herbs (see last photo).
The peppers and red onions were very roughly chopped, and some pieces were black. I also wonder what celery was doing in a Niçoise salad…
As for the garnish: only one small egg and a tiny tomato… very meager for the price. And ONE radish.
A third of the salad was inedible (see second photo).
The Caesar salad was also disappointing: no tomato, small portion, and sparsely filled. The same goes for the salad.
The only positive point was the service, which was quick. But unfortunately, this doesn't make up for the poor quality of the food.
€56 for a salad each with two glasses of Côtes de Provence wine served at the bar—is that really the wine? €8 each
11/05/2026: Food was ok... Hamburger patty burnt, half of the mussels were empty and so on. But... WE HAD TO PAY €8 FOR WATER!? THEY DIDNT EVEN TELL US THE PRICE😡🤬 If I weren't on a good mood I would sue, but this still DEFINITELY ruined my night. Staff were also rude, they acted like charging €8 for water was normal and our fault. NEVER GO HERE🤬

20/04/2026: Frankly, I find this completely unacceptable. I ordered a salad at your pizzeria in Cagnes-sur-Mer, and I was told I absolutely had to order a pizza with it.
Yet, at another Mister Pizza location in Nice, I was never asked for that, so I don't understand the difference.
Furthermore, the person on the phone literally hung up on me, even though I'm a loyal customer. Honestly, this isn't the way to treat customers, and it's truly disappointing.

Then came the first misstep: the waiter didn't ask how I wanted my steak cooked for a simple burger, and when I asked if it was possible to change the sauce, he told me I'd have to figure out how to add it myself… The burger arrived, the steak barely cooked, still pink. Very disappointed. The waitress took my plate back, and I had to wait 10 or 15 minutes for it to be cooked again, which was awful… My friend's mussels were good, served on a simple plate and not in a pot. I'd never seen that before, but there's a first time for everything, lol. There were about ten of them, practically fighting over each other, with three or four closed for €20. It's a bit shameful to serve that by the sea. The service itself was good, with a young, tattooed woman who was professional, dynamic, and smiling—excellent—and a rather older man who was also excellent. Unfortunately, the manager was completely clueless, just talking nonsense and making a series of... Going back and forth with nothing in hand, giving orders, yelling at a young waiter in front of the customers, letting the young waitress juggle heavy trays, the manager even taking quick phone calls—in short, someone who is completely unprofessional and doesn't know how to manage a team. Unfortunately, don't waste your time and money in this phony restaurant. For some, it's a daily grind, but for the cook, it's a daily grind. K.O., give up your spot, it's better, funny…

First, they offer a dessert with the children's menu, which we order right away, and when it comes to dessert, there's no dessert left. Okay, fine, we understand, we're not going to quibble, but in the end, no goodwill gesture, no discount.
Then, all the dishes arrived COLD. When you order fries in a restaurant and they arrive cold, that tells you something's up. They arrived cold and hard. Were they cooked and recooked? No one will ever know.
In one of our so-called homemade mashed potatoes, we found a hair.
In our sautéed mushrooms, we found a stone.
And with all that, not a discount, not a gesture of goodwill.
The fritto misto was inedible, the mixed seafood grill smelled like spoiled fish (stagnant seawater, yuck!). We've eaten at this restaurant several times and never had a problem. But since the management changed, it's disgusting.
It's May 13, 2026, for goodness sake, go eat somewhere else, especially considering the prices.

21/04/2026: Fanny, a new waitress, is unpleasant and haughty. She speaks rudely to us and other customers nearby. This has happened two nights in a row. We won't be returning because of her. It's a shame because the bartenders and cocktails are great.

09/05/2026: Very disappointed on the evening of May 9th! 5 stuffed vegetables with a little mixed green salad for €17.50!! The steak tartare was too spicy, which overpowered the meat! The fries were overcooked and very greasy!! €9.50 for a lollipop crepe is very expensive!!!! Very pricey for what it is!! The cook needs to improve!!

I was served quickly, maybe because I was the only one on the terrace. (Judging by the other reviews) Friendly waitress.
No sun at lunchtime, which was a shame.

01/03/2026: A very unpleasant experience last night.
I was waiting in line normally when two customers who arrived after me were served before me. When I politely pointed this out, the waitress responded curtly, claiming they were ahead of me, which is untrue.
What's even more disturbing is that these customers thanked the waitress, saying "Thank you, Auntie," which clearly suggests they were acquaintances. If that's the case, it would be more honest to admit the favoritism rather than accuse the customers of lying.
Instead of a simple exchange to clarify the situation, the tone escalated unnecessarily. A man in the queue became aggressive, even threatening to have me removed. Then a security guard intervened, speaking to me inappropriately.
As a result, I was publicly insulted simply for pointing out an injustice in the order of service.
Mistakes happen, but the lack of respect and aggressive handling of the situation are unacceptable. I am very disappointed by the staff's professionalism.
25/02/2026: Disgusting, undercooked bugnes, it's even worse since the change of name, the salad is absolutely good, very bad, never again.

25/04/2026: We stayed at the Hotel La Victoire, located on Place du Grand Jardin, right at the entrance to Vence's historic center. It's a small, two-star hotel. It doesn't have private parking, but we were able to use the public underground parking garage opposite the entrance, which made arrival much easier.
Inside, the layout is simple. We stayed in a double room. The room was clean, with a wardrobe and a handy storage shelf. The room was equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a functional bathroom. However, the shower could use some improvement: the curtain, although visibly cleaned, could do with being replaced. There's a small elevator for luggage. The soundproofing is effective: although the hotel directly overlooks a lively square with many restaurants, we weren't bothered by the noise once the windows were closed.
Check-in and reception are handled by phone and text message, with the entry code sent to you so you can retrieve your room key. A simple continental breakfast is served on the ground floor each morning.
This is a good value hotel that we appreciated for its convenience, as it allows you to explore the entire city on foot.
08/03/2026: The hotel is centrally located. Our corner room was small but acceptable. A more comfortable mattress would have been nice. The shower was full of mold, as shown in the photos...
The rooms are not cleaned.
