10/10/2026: It took over 30 minutes to receive an order. Disgraceful.

04/10/2026: Nothing works here! Every time I come, there's a problem with the registers or the kiosks aren't working. This McDonald's shouldn't even exist!!! They should have their license to use the name revoked because they're damaging the already terrible image. Many customers have left because of their problems, me included! I started to order at the kiosk when they came to tell me about the problem, so I left. Unacceptable!! I'm never coming here again!!!! Avoid this McDonald's!! Go to the competition; it'll be better!!!

21/09/2026: We were greeted with a smile by the owner when we told her we were there for lunch! We had a plate of zucchini blossom fritters as an appetizer. The service was impeccable and quick! The three-cheese ravioli were delicious, and the pizzas were generous. A restaurant we highly recommend; we will definitely return. The terrace is nicely shaded!

10/09/2026: I sat down with my two children to have something refreshing to drink. After waiting for 10 minutes, some rather rude older lady finally came over and told us to leave because the place was supposedly closed, even though there were plenty of other people still sitting there.

09/09/2026: Getting worse and worse, and more and more expensive. It's a disgrace to serve éclairs, fougasses, and bread so dry you wonder if they're from last week.

22/08/2026: This bakery has potential, but the saleswomen don't seem to want to work. We arrive, they're smoking in front of the shop and wait until they've finished before coming over, and of course, they don't wash their hands before serving us! And today at 4 pm, I want freshly squeezed orange juice, and the saleswoman tells me they're out of oranges, even though she opened the fridge right in front of me, and there were plenty. She just didn't feel like making any more, or I don't know why. It's surprising, especially on a Saturday afternoon, that someone wouldn't want to do their job.

Exceptionally bubbly, smiling, thoughtful, and attentive, she took excellent care of us from beginning to end, always with contagious kindness and energy. If this last day of our vacation was so beautiful and memorable, it's largely thanks to her. Laura has that rare talent of making you feel immediately welcome and privileged, all while remaining natural and warm. She far exceeded all our expectations! Absolutely impeccable service: 10/10 is almost not enough! Plage de l’Opéra is incredibly lucky to have Laura on its team. 24/09/2026: A frankly disappointing experience, especially since I'm a regular here and, until now, it's always been excellent. Several of us ordered the exact same thing, except that apparently my glass was served an "economy" portion: barely half full, while my friends' glasses were practically overflowing. I'm talking about the waitress with the short, curly hair, and instead of serving me like everyone else, she simply added cranberry juice to my vodka cranberry. The result: no taste of alcohol, just the impression of drinking fruit juice. The difference was so obvious that I pointed it out to her. And then, surprise: instead of simply correcting it, she started complaining. Apparently, asking to be served like everyone else was too much. In short, paying the same price for half the alcohol and then being brushed off when you point it out: a rather peculiar concept of customer service. It's a shame, because I've always had very good experiences here. This time, clearly, I won't be coming back; I only gave one stole because you can't give zero...

28/09/2026: Super mixed feelings about this place. The view is amazing, the cozy vibe is great, and the pastries/food are really tasty. But the service is a complete mess. The line stretched out the door, and with 5 people behind the counter, ( and a running owner cleaning the dishes here and there) it felt like only one was actually doing anything. We had to guess what to do after ordering, and our hot sandwich was totally forgotten until we asked twice , no apology either. Tap water is free, but they didn't even have proper glasses out. Small drinks, pretty basic coffee despite all the hype, and high prices. Worth stopping by once for the view, but that's about it.

13/07/2026: We have just had the most wonderful stay at the Mercure Nice Promenade des Anglais and I honestly can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, every single member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The team on reception were exceptional – always smiling, friendly and happy to help with any questions we had. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and they really made our family feel valued throughout our stay. Breakfast was fantastic every morning, with an excellent selection of fresh, high-quality food. The breakfast staff were so attentive and welcoming, making each morning a lovely start to the day. A special mention has to go to the housekeeping team, who completely won our hearts. We were travelling with our four-year-old son, and every day they carefully arranged his favourite toy in a different funny position around the room, making it look as though it had come to life while we were out exploring Nice. Watching our son discover what his toy had been "up to" each afternoon became one of the highlights of our holiday and created such magical family memories. It's those thoughtful little touches that you simply can't put a price on. Finally, on our departure day, our son fell asleep just before checkout. Rather than rushing us, the hotel very kindly allowed us to keep the room a little longer so he could finish his nap. As parents, this small act of kindness made a huge difference and perfectly sums up the level of care and understanding shown by the staff throughout our stay. The location couldn't be better, right on the Promenade des Anglais and within easy walking distance of the Old Town, beach and countless restaurants. Thank you to everyone at the Mercure Nice Promenade des Anglais for making our family holiday so special. We will leave with wonderful memories and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Nice.

09/08/2026: After a 45-minute wait for two pizzas in an infernal racket, the calzone wasn't even cooked... a hefty bill of €42.90 for two pizzas made with tomato paste – a real tourist trap!
