22/08/2026: Ordered a salad niçoise which was horribly salty and surprisingly greasy, yet still cost €18. The service was terrible with inattentive staff who bordered on rude. To add insult to injury, we've discovered that we've been charged twice but have now left the area so cannot go down and complain. There are plenty of other restaurants in Grasse and I would suggest going to one of them.

10/08/2026: In the kitchen, hygiene was seriously lacking. The staff prepared and served food without gloves, hairnets, or even after washing their hands. This completely ruined our appetites. Not all the menu items were available, and these weren't even mentioned when customers arrived. We also heard that they were out of Nutella; my girlfriend and I had ordered the same cream, but it didn't have Nutella on top (and it wasn't even 6 pm!). The service was also disappointing; neither of us was served at the same time, which was really frustrating since we wanted to try everything together.

13/08/2026: We stopped there for a break during our visit to Menton and to refresh ourselves. Hygiene, the manager's friendliness—nothing was right… and instead of lemonade (which they didn't have… in Menton! Imagine that in the city center!), he asked me, "Do you want water and lemon?" I said yes, "That's it," and he brought me lemon syrup with water. In short, with such a location, what a shame!! Avoid at all costs!!

03/08/2026: As the reviews said, the prices are cheap, but the exterior looks unsanitary. I ordered orange chicken and Indian curry fried rice, but they just haphazardly microwaved it for me. The chicken was too salty and mushy, and the fried rice was completely inedible; the outside was dry and hard from the microwave, while the grains inside were all mushy from the moisture. I was really hungry, but I couldn't eat more than a few spoonfuls and left the rest.

20/07/2026: A very pleasant place, and they even have chocolate. And personally, I love chocolate, so I'm a fan, plain and simple.

08/02/2026: A very warm welcome, the waitress and the owner are charming and their hot chocolate is to die for.

27/07/2026: We were hoping to have a pleasant family outing at this establishment, but the experience was very disappointing. The owner's welcome was cold and unpleasant, to the point that we felt mistreated. Her attitude clearly lacked professionalism and courtesy. Furthermore, there was a mistake with our order: the ice cream flavor served was not the one we ordered. Given these issues, we do not recommend this place.

18/06/2026: What happened to Le Tire Bouchon? A creative restaurant that offered samples of any dish in a smaller portion for those who couldn't decide, a restaurant with a full menu featuring three meats, three fish, three vegetables, and three desserts, a restaurant where every dish was carefully considered in its pairings AND presentation—well, this restaurant has become a run-down betting shop, serving tired bistro fare, pasta (wow!), and flaunting its reputation for being the dead man of Le Tire Bouchon. I'm writing this comment later because I stumbled across some old photos from one of my visits to Le Tire Bouchon, with a salmon dish accompanied by three different creamy soups, which gave the plate a truly striking appearance, and it made me angry again to see the restaurant still bearing the same name.

26/05/2026: Even after I told the waiter I had a nut allergy, asked about 5 times, translated what I was saying to French, and listed the specific tree nuts I can’t eat, the staff insisted that the whole kitchen was nut free. I can tell you that is FALSE. I had an allergic reaction to I think the pesto, so I can tell you that it definitely had nuts lmao. I had to leave the restaurant to use my epi pen so I wouldn’t die. When I came back and told the staff that they lied about it being a “nut free kitchen” and could have killed me they suggested that maybe I was just “nervous” about it and hallucinating symptoms. They did nothing to make up for their mistake and did not even apologize.

06/07/2026: I got a ticket for parking in a blue zone with no time limit sign. A shopkeeper told me the limit was half an hour. Having been used to Villeneuve-Loubet where it's two hours, I'll now eat in Villeneuve. Thanks, Vencei. Perhaps the time limit should be better indicated.

10/07/2026: Life in pink is no longer an option. SUC’DE CANNES offers breakfast, coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, a salad bar for lunch, made-to-order sandwiches, and an ice cream parlor and bar in the afternoon.

03/06/2026: It's a shame we can't give zero stars. Dirty, very dirty, not good, expensive, and the service is unpleasant. The waiter smokes and serves you afterward without washing his hands—yuck! It's a shame; with such a location, it could be really great.

17/07/2026: Rude staff... Me and my friend visited this shop this morning and weren't greeted at all by the young cashier because we spoke English and we can't speak French. When ordering, it felt like the worker was irritated by everything. Before we could even ask to eat here instead of take away, she was wrapping it all up. She did not ask us if that's all after ordering something, so she forgot to add a cake. I reminded her kindly but I did not receive a nice reaction. The food was average and there are enough choices, so a two star is good for this place. The binn outside was full, and we didn't receive any cutlery for the cakes for example. Do not go here if you are a tourist expecting kindness/happiness back from others in the morning.

09/07/2026: I ordered two feta and salmon salads and a pepper sandwich. Not only was one salad missing, but the only one in the bag wasn't the one I bought, nor was it the right sandwich. And when I called, no one dared answer! How brave! Tomorrow I want the right salad to give to the goats.

27/06/2026: We ordered a warm goat cheese salad and a Niçoise salad. I got 4 olives and my boyfriend got 3 ;-)). No walnuts, almonds, or balsamic vinegar. In short, terrible salads for €22. Unfriendly service. Avoid at all costs.

29/05/2026: This establishment charges €5 for a small glass of Cristaline water because you pay by credit card. This is especially frustrating for someone with asthma, especially during a heatwave. Not only are they breaking the law, but they also show a complete lack of compassion. Avoid at all costs.

18/05/2026: Catastrophic! I found a hair in my kebab, and the same thing happened to my girlfriend!! The service was unpleasant; you'd think they weren't human. I saw them picking up fries that had fallen on the floor and putting them back on a tray. Plus, the portions were huge. It was impossible to leave this kebab feeling full.

21/08/2026: ABSOLUTELY AVOID!!! DON'T BE SCAMMED!!!! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY AND RUIN YOUR HOLIDAY!!!! We booked 12 nights at Chez Mathieu and only stayed one night. His listing only shows photos of his apartment; he conveniently omits any photos of the building itself. I now understand why: because nobody would rent his apartment. When we arrived, it felt like we were in a movie. Seeing the state of the building was appalling and shameful. The listing is misleading. The reality is quite different: over 700 dilapidated, run-down apartments, full of pests and infested with drug dealers, prostitutes, etc. We called the owner to explain our insecurity and that we didn't want to stay another night in his apartment, and that his advertisement was misleading (he told us we wouldn't be sleeping in the hallway). No compromise was possible, especially since he gave us the keys an hour late, the apartment smelled of sewage, the floor was covered in hair and filthy, the washing machine was dirty with a sheet inside, the refrigerator hadn't even been defrosted or cleaned, the coffee maker was disgusting, and the windows had been wiped with toilet paper. Despite all this, he didn't even want to make a small gesture, even though we paid €2300 for 12 nights, which is extremely expensive for a residence like this. It's a disgrace and a scam; they're thieves. This is absolutely not a suitable place to spend a holiday with a child. It's even too good to be true; it deserves zero stars.

19/08/2026: A huge disappointment. Absolutely not recommended. Not even worth 1 star. I want to warn anyone considering staying at this residence. Unfortunately, we relied mainly on the photos on Booking.com, but in our experience, they do not correspond to reality at all. In my opinion, the photos do not provide a representative picture of the current state of the residence. The residence itself is very poorly maintained. There was a strong smell of urine and dogs in the common areas, and everything gave a very neglected impression. There is an underground car park for which €15 per day is charged. We also found this car park to be poorly maintained. During our stay, water dripped onto and next to our car daily, meaning we had to move our car first to be able to get in normally. The stairs were very dirty and dusty. There were spots with mold and unpleasant odors. The walls were also very dirty. The elevators frequently did not work. We had to wait 5 to 10 minutes several times, and when an elevator finally arrived, it was often completely full. There was also a strong, unpleasant smell in the elevators. The general condition of the building gave us absolutely no holiday feeling. It felt more like an old and severely neglected building. Moreover, the apartments are located very close together. We also found the surroundings very unpleasant in the evenings. We did not feel safe there, and as a woman, we personally would not walk around this area alone. Furthermore, during our stay, we witnessed situations that we perceived as open drug dealing. This made us feel very unsafe, especially with children. The apartment itself was also a huge disappointment. When opening the dishwasher, it almost fell on my foot because it was completely loose and tilted forward. Nothing was communicated about this beforehand. There was a dirty, musty smell in the apartment. The television did not work at all. The few pots and pans that were present were dirty and caked with food, so we did not use them. The coffee maker also smelled very musty and of mold, so we did not use it either. There were hardly any closets to store clothes in. As a result, we had to leave our clothes in our suitcases for the entire duration of our holiday. The sofa bed was old and in poor condition. When you unfolded it and sat on it, it would snap shut again, making it a risk to fall off. The sofa cushion covers were also very dirty. We had chosen this residence specifically because of the swimming pool, as we are traveling with children. To our surprise, it turned out that the pool was only accessible to a maximum of four people per family. Since there are more than four of us, we were therefore unable to use the pool together as a full family. This was a major disappointment for us and was not clearly indicated beforehand. Additionally, we could not find any clear information about the dress code at the pool on the website. Subsequently, I was denied access to the pool because I was wearing a burkini. I was also not allowed to sit on the sun loungers to keep an eye on my children while they were swimming. I experienced the way this was handled as very humiliating and disrespectful. I personally felt this was discriminatory. In short: a huge disappointment. In our experience, the photos on Booking.com give an impression that does not correspond to reality at all. The residence is poorly maintained, the apartment was dirty and defective, the surroundings made us feel unsafe in the evenings, and the situation around the swimming pool made our holiday even more unpleasant. I absolutely do not recommend this residence and would never stay here again myself.
