27/09/2026: When the terrace is full at lunchtime, two servers are a bit understaffed. As a result, you have to wait a little too long to ask for salt or order more wine. The pasta vongole and tagliatelle were perfectly al dente. The sauce was tasteless. The shrimp risotto was also rather bland. The service was very attentive and friendly.

25/09/2026: The oysters are too salty!! The water in the English Channel and the French west coast has only a little more salt than the Swedish west coast. A big shame with at least double the amount - terrible taste!

17/09/2026: We left hungry, leaving 70 euros. Alerol only had ice, so we couldn't order anything else to fill up. They quickly brought us the bill, telling us to leave because there was a crowd of new tourists at the entrance. I don't recommend it.

07/09/2026: Everything about our visit was outstanding! Matt and Ben at the bar were spectacular! Outstanding service and they went above and beyond to make sure our visit was perfect. Anna at the front desk was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Sam in the breakfast area was also absolutely amazing and provided the best service. We are completely thrilled with our visit and can’t wait to come back!

And I wasn't disappointed: a magnificent setting, a terrace nestled in a verdant oasis, tasteful yet relaxed decor, attentive and kind service, and excellent cuisine. A superb family moment that delighted everyone, including my husband who wasn't initially convinced. Thank you to the whole team! 🙏🙏

07/09/2026: Portions are smaller than under the previous management. For a village restaurant, this is a real shame because the food is good. But the prices are those of a city restaurant.

04/09/2026: A wonderful discovery at this restaurant in August 2026. The cheese platter I chose instead of dessert was beautifully presented, delicious, and perfectly temperatureed. I highly recommend this establishment.

15/06/2026: I am not sure how this is rated a 4-star hotel. The property feels old and run-down, and the rooms feel like a cheap roadside motel. The staff is incredibly rude, and the level of customer service is unlike anything I have experienced in the South of France. Dinner at L'Ensemble was a disaster— 15 min sitting down before someone offered us water and took drink orders. Over two hours to receive our food, my husband's swordfish was raw, my steak was like rubber, and the staff is just entirely indifferent. To make matters worse, there is nowhere else to eat besides the one restaurant. The pool bar/restaurant is only open June 27 till end of August, so there is no poolside service. I came here to spend five days while my daughter attends tennis camp for 2 weeks, and the pool is closed for private events three of those five days, so I can't even hang out by the pool while shes training. Nothing short of disappointing. This will be my first and last stay here. The only redeeming quality is the beautiful tennis facility. Take your money elsewhere and stay somewhere that actually cares about the guests and delivers a true 4-star resort experience.

29/08/2026: Honestly, I rarely give a 5, but this one deserves it: - The atmosphere is fabulous, the photos speak for themselves, the view is breathtaking, everything is beautiful and well-orchestrated. - The food is very good, and I was completely blown away by the vanilla ice cream. At first glance, it's a "simple" scoop of white vanilla ice cream, which doesn't look particularly vanilla-flavored, but wow, it's so good! I think it's the best I've ever had: texture, flavor... incomparable; a 10/10 for this ice cream, don't change the recipe. What could have been better for the ice cream is a bit more texture, like crumble, vanilla/fleur de sel streusel, or a touch of pure vanilla praline... For a restaurant of this caliber, with the prices charged, I wouldn't have found that excessive, quite the opposite! But otherwise, the ice cream itself is perfect. As for the pre-desserts: a big disappointment. Unfortunately, I didn't like them at all... I saw in a photo that they offered a small, very vanilla-flavored tartlet a few months ago; it's a shame I missed it... it looks incredible. Even the dessert menu could have been a bit better and more extensive for the restaurant's level. It could have been a truly PERFECT experience with a slightly better dessert menu, offering a truly gourmet experience. The soufflés are great, and it's wonderful that they offer several flavors. I immediately went for the Tahitian vanilla, being a huge vanilla enthusiast, but I just didn't really taste the vanilla; perhaps the flavor could be more pronounced, in my opinion. Otherwise, apart from these few minor criticisms, the restaurant, the staff, the view, the quality—everything was perfect. Thank you for the lovely vanilla and red berry pavlova; it was excellent!

19/08/2026: A really lovely place. I often come here for lunch during the week; the menu is reasonably priced and always good quality. They often host events, such as winemaking workshops using grape varieties. Excellent!

30/09/2026: If you love fresh well cooked seafood then you will probably love this restaurant. Its not posh , in fact very rustic , but the fish is fresh and superbly prepared and the deserts delightful. A good selection of white and rose wines BUT only one red , however its very acceptable.
