30/04/2026: The mussels were bland, the fries were like something from Flunch, the steak tartare was bland, cheap but not worth more

23/04/2026: The food is good, but the new owner is awful, and I mean it. He doesn't even say hello or goodbye. If you try to talk to him, he doesn't answer. He really needs to come down at least ten floors. What a shame! I used to go two or three times a month, but I'll never go back. On the other hand, the waiters are fantastic.

28/04/2026: We enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service from Paul, Fred and the rest of their team so much that we ate and drank there most evenings during our stay near Nice Airport. It's excellent value for money, convenient for all the hotels near the airport and you couldn't ask for better hosts. Thank you all.

13/05/2026: Today, my journey ended at Charlot 1er, a true institution in Cagnes-sur-Mer. I was greeted with great kindness and professionalism by the entire team, always smiling and attentive, not forgetting the owners, whose warm welcome makes all the difference. I discovered the set menu, a truly delightful experience from beginning to end: a remarkably fresh, delicate, and perfectly seasoned scallop carpaccio, followed by flavorful, generous, and delicious shrimp pasta. To finish, a light and perfectly balanced strawberry soup with whipped cream. Everything was absolutely excellent: the quality of the ingredients, the impeccable freshness of the seafood, the perfect balance of flavors, and the care taken with each dish. You can immediately taste the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients, as is evident throughout their entire menu, which I wholeheartedly recommend. A truly delicious and enjoyable experience in a friendly setting where you always feel welcome. Thank you again to the whole team for this delightful moment; I'm never disappointed and I will definitely be back.

26/03/2025: Walked past this Cafe and just loved the look of the menu and the outdoor seating! The waitress was so honestly lovely and I ended up coming all three days that I stayed in Nice because I wanted to try more of the menu! Also a great place to sit outside and read a book. Pictured is the Croque Madame and the Salmon Bagel with a Matcha. I also had the Açai Smoothie Bowl. Honestly all three were great and presented so well. I would recommend the Croque Madame though, it was delicious and that salad is so fresh! If you want a good coffee and a meal, definitely recommend this Cafe. Be warned it will be pretty busy on a sunny day so get in early!

23/03/2025: Arriving at 2:20 p.m., we were seated at a table for four, even though there were five of us. We waited 20 minutes before ordering our drinks and food. The wine glasses weren't wiped, and the order was mistakenly served at 3:10 p.m. The missing dish was served 10 minutes later, cold and frozen, with no apology. The overall condition of the restaurant was poor: exposed sockets, signs of leaks in the ceiling, and the kitchen and restrooms were deplorable. Avoid! A warning to hygiene inspectors...

20/04/2026: A very good experience at this sushi restaurant in Le Cannet! The ingredients are fresh, the portions generous, and the presentation beautiful. The service is quick and the staff welcoming. Special mention for the maki and sashimi, which were truly excellent. One small point for improvement: the wait time can be a bit long during peak hours. I highly recommend it!

19/04/2026: It had been a long time since I'd been back, and frankly, the new owner is very friendly, the sushi is still just as good, and the service is very good for the price, which remains reasonable. I think that once the team is really in place, it will be a must-visit.

19/04/2026: Went at 2, so the service was a bit slow with only one staff working. But the food was delicious. Great latte for 2.5 euro

16/04/2026: One star is still too many. When we arrived, the place was empty (we should have known that). We ordered two pizzas, wanting to have a good time, but halfway through, the waiter came and asked if we should bring a pizza box. We said no, but he later took the pizza away and brought it back in the box, along with the bill. We paid and tried to finish our drinks, but the waiter came and said they were closing (at 2 p.m., even though the map says they're open until midnight), took our glasses, and told us to leave. I should add that the restroom had no toilet paper, soap, or lid, and the hand dryer didn't work. The food was okay, but the service was terrible.

03/05/2026: Family owned and operated neighborhood establishment at Rue d Antibes. Just a couple of blocks off the main tourist street. We just had a sandwich, which was excellent, and a couple of beers, but we saw beautiful and appetizing platters leaving the kitchen. They spoke English; young daughter also spoke Spanish and helped me connect to their internet. A genuine French experience; not a tourist fast food place. Highly recommended.

24/06/2025: We left the restaurant still hungry... quantities clearly not adapted to the prices, you have to pay a substantial supplement for the side dish (rice, Cantonese rice, noodles +6 euros...). First and last time, we were very disappointed especially after the behavior of the waiter following our report about the stingy quantities.

19/03/2026: The service was pleasant, however, the speed at which the buckwheat crêpe was served—less than two minutes after ordering—leaves me wondering about its "homemade" claim. That said, it wasn't bad at all.
