12/10/2025: Very good private beach, deckchair service at work. More than reasonable prices. Excellent and huge food!!!!

07/10/2025: This year we found Uvita Cap d’Ail in a deplorable state. We weren't sure if it was open or if the place had been abandoned. The furniture was in terrible condition, messy and dirty, the plants were neglected, etc. The mattresses were moldy, the sand wasn't level, and the sun loungers were all over the place. The blonde woman, who seemed to be the manager, we wondered what her role was, as we didn't see her do anything. It was a total disappointment, which is a real shame because the place used to be very nice. The food was still okay, but there wasn't much choice.

24/03/2026: A cozy little restaurant with delicious food. We tried Banh Bao, vegetarian rice and fried chicken and everything was delicious, the portions were generous and the price was reasonable. Maybe the plates should be bigger because the portions are generous and it's hard to eat without spilling. The staff was friendly and smiling. They have a large selection of dishes and we're sorry we didn't have time to try something else. Best regards from Serbia. ❤️

09/03/2026: It's cheap and delicious, and the environment is spacious and clean, unlike many Asian restaurants that are cramped, stuffy, and hot. The waiters here speak French without a heavy accent, and their service is very friendly.

05/12/2025: Not the best experience at this restaurant… The burger was way too smothered in sauce, with a nearly raw patty. The fries seemed frozen and weren't very good. As for the dessert, the "fondant" was a shamrock in name only: it was more like a chocolate mousse tart. Overall, I was disappointed.

22/02/2026: Sunday lunch, no menu and a set menu that was completely unworthy of the price. Drinks are expensive. The starter is very basic and the main courses are the same. It's a shame because the setting is pleasant and the service is very good.

The setting is undeniably pleasant and photogenic, ideal for lunch or dinner by the sea with a relaxed atmosphere and live music in the evening. Service can be disorganized at times depending on the time of day or how busy it is, and the price is a bit too high. In short, La Vela offers a good setting and a lovely seaside experience, with dishes that can be very good or disappointing depending on the service and the time of day. It's a good choice for enjoying the scenery and a meal on the terrace, keeping in mind that service and culinary consistency can vary, especially during the summer months.

24/06/2025: We left the restaurant still hungry... quantities clearly not adapted to the prices, you have to pay a substantial supplement for the side dish (rice, Cantonese rice, noodles +6 euros...). First and last time, we were very disappointed especially after the behavior of the waiter following our report about the stingy quantities.
