04/10/2026: While traveling through France, we stopped Friday evening at the Quai 21 restaurant to try Castelnaudary's specialty: cassoulet. It was excellent, very generous, served with a local wine—a real treat with very friendly service. Bravo!

27/08/2026: The best Pizza in Leucate!!! It is advisable to call at lunch time and book for your Pizza takeaway in the evening. Nice little courtyard and a very tasty, light and thin Pizza. Good choice on the menu and super friendly staff!

22/08/2026: The owners are incredibly kind, as always when we're in Leucate village. We get pizza, kebab, and panini, and it's always delicious, with a nice little touch like a large order of fries instead of a small one. Highly recommended! Keep up the good work, don't change a thing.

16/09/2026: What a wonderful experience! We had a great meal; the foie gras was very special, and the grilled turbot was excellent. The owners were super friendly; all three of them took the trouble to greet us and say hello, and a bowl of water was immediately placed down for the dog. Highly recommended if you are in Narbonne Plage or the area!

13/09/2026: What a pleasure to rediscover Anna's flavors! She's a true chemist with tastes. She surprises and delights us. I've included a photo of her order with fries and melted cheese—it's a dish for children, but she also makes an exceptional burger that's absolutely delicious. Be sure to make a reservation, as they have limited seating and can't accommodate too many people. Check their website for closing days. Enjoy!

03/10/2026: So for my birthday we chose "Les Deux Oliviers"... Warm welcome, chairs a bit stiff... I ordered à la carte: everything was perfect - the sea bream of the day was a little bland but very fresh - My partner was quite disappointed by the starter: undercooked leeks wrapped in dry seaweed! His main course was a very fatty piece of pork loin... he was sick all night... So, for €150, a big disappointment... we were really looking forward to it!

09/09/2026: It's clear this is a touristy spot; the customer's opinion doesn't matter much since others are waiting outside. It's a shame because the food is good, but the service is very disappointing.

26/09/2026: Despite its very pleasant setting in a shaded park, the "all-you-can-eat" formula doesn't seem to guarantee quality for this establishment, and if you want another coffee after 2:30 pm, you'll be politely asked to leave.

14/05/2026: The Cité de Carcassonne is a must-see every time I travel through the south of France. And if there's one thing you absolutely shouldn't miss, it's the fabulous Bastille Day fireworks display. I must have been back at least ten times, and the effect is always the same: majestic. The illuminated ramparts, the explosions that set the whole citadel ablaze, the atmosphere in the city… there's something truly unique about it. Even a simple two-hour break during a road trip is enough to be blown away by the sights. On the way to the Abbey of Saint-Martin du Canigou, it's the kind of stop that transforms a journey into a lasting memory. 500 meters before the paid parking lots, on the hill before descending into the citadel, a strip along the edge allows you to park for free. 5, 6 cars max.

05/08/2026: We had previously dined at Frank's in Narbonne and had very fond memories of it. The food was excellent and the welcome was warm, which is why we wanted to return. Unfortunately, this new experience was very disappointing. We had booked for Monday, August 3rd at 7:45 pm, a day when reservations were supposed to be open. We went to the restaurant, but upon arrival, we found it was simply closed. Then, at 8:30 pm, we received an email informing us that the restaurant was fully booked. The result: a wasted trip and no information before our arrival. It's truly a shame, especially for an establishment we had such good memories of. A simple message or a phone call beforehand would have saved us this unnecessary journey. We hope this problem was just an isolated incident, because the quality of the food and service deserves better than this poor reservation management.

27/05/2026: The hotel is very well located with parking and charging stations. The welcome was excellent. It's quiet and has been recently renovated. Everything is clean and nicely decorated. There's a heated pool and a superb breakfast. Don't hesitate to book, but remember to make a reservation.

03/09/2026: A great place to eat Tartines (large toasts) that are excellent quality and delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they speak Spanish, which makes things much easier. The brioche for dessert is spectacular.

01/09/2026: We had dinner here tonight and the food was delicious. We were told that it was all fresh and locally produced. I had the chicken from the specials board which just melted in your mouth. Desert was fabulous 👌 so pleased that we picked to eat here. The staff there extremely pleasant and went out of the way to explain the menu.

The friendliness of the "hostess" Alban, the skill of her chef husband, the quality of the ingredients, the selection of wines, and—last but not least—the beauty of the "house." These are the ingredients that make La cave d'Agnes a unique experience. Excellent value.
