15/09/2026: Don’t be put off by the location the views are not great. On one side you are looking at a parking lot and the other side the lights are quite obnoxious. That is the bad part! Everything thing else is just great the food is well prepared cooked perfectly and enjoyed. A 3 course dinner for 2 with a bottle of very good rose wine for less than 100 euros. Thank you Chez Fred.

01/09/2026: I visited twice in total: once to buy a sandwich, panini, and coffee for lunch, and once to buy a slushy for a snack. The staff were very friendly, and the sandwich and panini were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal while looking out at the sea. I highly recommend this place! 👍👍

14/09/2026: A wonderful discovery. The cuisine is refined and original. Inside, the decor is pleasant and the furniture comfortable. The welcome is warm and the service is quick and attentive. The price is slightly above average but justified by the quality of the experience. I highly recommend it.

Lots of little touches that make all the difference: a bag holder for the ladies, rosé wine served in an ice bucket, etc. The service is quick and very friendly. The chef delighted us from start to finish, and all for a menu under €30. Well done to the three of you! We won't hesitate to return. A truly wonderful place.

The lighting is designed to showcase your dishes. The music is soothing. The servers know their lines perfectly as they present the dishes and their stories. A huge thank you to them for the magic and the quality of the presentation. The dishes are executed to perfection; each element seems crafted by a watchmaker. The combinations are surprising and perfectly balanced. The lingering flavors are incredible. The wine pairings are expertly arranged by passionate sommeliers, further elevating the experience. Thank you for allowing me to experience these emotions. I hope everyone has the opportunity to experience something like this someday.

19/09/2026: From the Loire Valley, we decided to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We were absolutely delighted. The food and service were pure poetry, magic, and local flavors—everything we love. Thank you for the thoughtful touches everyone brought us. Happy anniversary to the man celebrating his 28th wedding anniversary today, who was kind enough to have a chocolate brought to me because I don't like fruit jellies. I didn't get a chance to say thank you, so thank you to him. A final word about Axel's chocolates. They are divine, and Axel is a chip off the old block. So generous and kind. Our mothers are going to love them. Thank you all.

19/09/2026: Excellent lunch; started with a Kir, then shared a house salad and a duck marjoram. My husband also had his favorite dessert: crème brûlée. Everything was delicious and the owners were super friendly. We sat outside on the terrace (19-9) and had a great view. Highly recommended!

07/09/2026: What a find!!! Please, if you have the chance, visit this amazing restaurant. The welcome is warm, humorous and generous. The food is quite literally out of this world. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and were delighted by the food and drink (all from the region) which we enjoyed at La Bonne Excuse. Simlply superb...you owe it to yourselves if you are within a days' journey to eat here. The food, the wine, everything was stunning. Thanks to the whole team for such a superb meal.. There's also a display of paintings (painter is at work on landscapes while you eat) ns other artwork. Genuinely wish I could visit regularly (but we live in England - our fault!)
