10/05/2026: These weren't the best crepes I've ever had. The restaurant wasn't very busy. The waitress took our order for an aperitif and the main course, no problem there. Except she'd barely put the aperitif down before the main course was already in front of us. We didn't even have time to enjoy it.

29/03/2026: The food was fantastic! We tried the cassoulet, a very generous portion and excellent quality. The service was also great; they spoke Spanish and the staff came around to ask if everything was alright. I would definitely return.

21/12/2025: A really great way to do a trip back in time

17/11/2025: Medieval cuisine is certainly different from what we're used to eating today. Some dishes might, at first glance, seem a little bland, or at least not the kind of thing that would immediately make our mouths water, because our 21st-century palates are accustomed to tastes that are too sweet, too fatty, or too salty (clearly not the best for our health!). However, the kitchen team rose to this challenge brilliantly: each dish was perfectly seasoned, fragrant, and truly delicious. This made the culinary experience even more successful. The experience is further enhanced by the entertainment offered throughout the meal, as well as by the choice of costumes at the beginning, which immediately immerses us in the medieval atmosphere. We also greatly appreciated the intimate atmosphere of the restaurant, with only one seating at lunchtime: no constant coming and going, allowing us to fully enjoy the moment. A wonderful discovery that we highly recommend! Until next time!

07/05/2026: This is at least my tenth visit to this exceptional establishment. Delicious, original, with top-notch service and a magnificent setting. The restaurant serves us different dishes each time we've had them. A very original non-alcoholic pairing (they don't just mix two fruit juices). Exceptional value for money that I haven't found anywhere else. In short, you can go there without hesitation.

04/05/2026: An exceptional moment for our wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect in this "Occitanie wine tour" with wine pairings. The service was impeccable and precise, without being stuffy, which we appreciated. Being able to chat with the Chef in the kitchen at the end of the meal was also a lovely and much-appreciated touch.

15/05/2026: A visit to the castle and ramparts is a must. Breathtaking views of the city, the surrounding area, and the ramparts! :-)

14/05/2026: The Cité de Carcassonne is a must-see every time I travel through the south of France. And if there's one thing you absolutely shouldn't miss, it's the fabulous Bastille Day fireworks display. I must have been back at least ten times, and the effect is always the same: majestic. The illuminated ramparts, the explosions that set the whole citadel ablaze, the atmosphere in the city… there's something truly unique about it. Even a simple two-hour break during a road trip is enough to be blown away by the sights. On the way to the Abbey of Saint-Martin du Canigou, it's the kind of stop that transforms a journey into a lasting memory. 500 meters before the paid parking lots, on the hill before descending into the citadel, a strip along the edge allows you to park for free. 5, 6 cars max.

16/05/2026: A fantastic evening where we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! It was my first time having mussels with chorizo: they were excellent! The staff were incredibly pleasant and friendly! We found it hard to leave because the place was so lovely and peaceful. Everything you need for a wonderful evening! We'll be back!

08/04/2026: Very disappointed with this Narbonne address, which looked so promising on paper! I ordered a matcha that was far too sweet and an acai that was bland and small considering the price (12 euros for a small bowl). Honestly, I think you can find better and more substantial options for an afternoon snack (3 drinks and an acai for 27 euros). I advise you not to linger at this place!

11/05/2026: A very pleasant seafood restaurant in Carcassonne! I had a wonderful time; the atmosphere is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I had a bouillabaisse (which I had pre-ordered) and frankly, it was delicious: fragrant, generous with fish, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell the ingredients are fresh, which makes all the difference. A great place for seafood lovers; I highly recommend it! I'll gladly go back! Thank you to Eddy for his humor, kindness, and culinary talents! 🐟

10/05/2026: We dined at Gil's two nights in a row, and having thoroughly enjoyed the first evening, we decided to order bouillabaisse for the following day. The portion was more than generous for a very reasonable price. Absolutely delicious, topped off with a warm welcome from Eddy and the young waiter whose name I unfortunately didn't get. Highly recommended for anyone who loves fish!
