01/03/2026: We returned a second time, thinking that our first experience might have been a fluke, especially since the meat is truly excellent and the value for money remains outstanding. However, the reception was rather off-putting, with a manager who was somewhat curt in her interactions. The service also left much to be desired, probably because there clearly aren't enough waitresses to properly staff the dining room. Unfortunately, our interaction with the manager once again put us off. It's a shame, because the quality of the food deserves a welcome and service to match.

27/02/2026: We've been regulars at La Courte Paille for years. We recently had lunch there, and the meat was still good, even better than before, despite a limited menu. However, the service really leaves much to be desired. The staff aren't attentive to the customer; their attire and shoes are mediocre at best and poorly maintained. What's more, the staff constantly talk amongst themselves in the dining room in front of customers waiting to order. They're imprecise and inattentive when serving the food. What a difference from what we experienced before Covid, when the staff were top-notch, efficient, welcoming, and quick.

21/03/2026: Extremely disappointed. I think you'll remember us: your pot-au-feu consisted of three carrot slices, small potato wedges, three pieces of uncooked meat, and a greasy, incredibly salty broth... In short, it's nothing like the one in Les Sables-d'Olonne that recommended you to us, and we were extremely disappointed. I'm ready to discuss this further with you, as we did during our previous visit.

It's a shame that, as usual, some people show no respect for the place or for others (customers and staff working at the lake, restaurants, lifeguards, etc.). Thank you for thinking of motorcyclists by providing a dedicated parking area 👍🏼 A locker system for storing helmets and jackets would be a real plus 😉 Just a thought ✌🏼

05/03/2026: Excellent hotel, excellent restaurant, very kind to construction workers. A cooking stove with a plate and cutlery is provided if needed. Very good breakfast with everything you could want. I highly recommend it.

01/03/2026: A fantastic spot in Guingamp! La Ferme is an excellent restaurant: generous portions, a friendly atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. The owner is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to his customers; you immediately feel at ease. The waitress is also very pleasant and smiling. A truly good, simple, and authentic restaurant. As a regular, I've never been disappointed. I highly recommend it!

21/03/2026: We've been there several times, but this time was very disappointing. We ordered drinks and food at the same time. We waited over an hour for a rare ribeye steak. It's never taken that long, and when we mentioned it at the checkout, not a single apology. The food itself was very good, though. The waitress was very pleasant, but the service was erratic.

30/12/2025: A must-visit whenever you're in the area. Friendly welcome and a very well-maintained dining room. The food is simply delightful; quality and quantity are always top-notch. The prices are very reasonable considering what's served. Don't hesitate to make a slight detour to enjoy delicious food and good cheer.

21/02/2026: Fantastic experience at this Portuguese restaurant! 🇵🇹 I had chicken with homemade fries, and it was absolutely delicious: perfectly seasoned meat, cooked to perfection, and crispy fries just the way we like them. For dessert, the crème brûlée was equally wonderful, wonderfully smooth with a beautiful caramelized crust. Everything was excellent from start to finish; you can taste the homemade quality and the generous portions. A truly great place that I highly recommend!
