The cocktails were excellent and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants, and the food was also very good, with a vegetarian option available upon request. I will definitely be back.

12/12/2025: A wonderful surprise! We discovered a restaurant where everything is homemade, using fresh ingredients and a real focus on flavor. The dishes are well-balanced, generous, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is soothing and charming; you immediately feel at ease. The owner, very welcoming and attentive, takes the time to chat with his customers, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A rare, genuine, and delicious place that I highly recommend.

30/03/2026: Excellent beef, cooked to perfection at the right temperature. The service was simple but very friendly, attentive, and quick. The only slight drawback was the interior ambiance, which lacked a bit of warmth or character. But that's a matter of taste and doesn't detract from the quality.

22/03/2026: The value for money was terrible: around €30 for tasteless meat and undercooked potatoes. At 9 pm on a Saturday night, just as we were starting our meals, we were told we had to choose our desserts immediately because the kitchen was closing. The rather expensive fruit salad consisted mainly of large, poorly peeled pieces of apple with seeds.

25/03/2026: Honestly, this restaurant doesn't deserve its current Google rating at all. It's quite baffling... The food is excellent, generous portions, and the prices are very reasonable. Plus, the service was really pleasant, which made the experience even better. Bonus: there's a great little playroom for kids, which is super convenient for families. I highly recommend it!

11/03/2026: Formerly Poivre Rouge Dinner on the terrace. Varied menu. Excellent hamburgers with perfect homemade fries. Generous and high-quality desserts. The service, provided by the manager on weekday evenings, is impeccable. An independent restaurant that deserves support after the Covid years.

03/03/2026: The atmosphere is more bistro than restaurant. I agree with the family feel, seeing the clientele the manager knew. The manager was very friendly and honestly offered good advice. The second waiter was apparently much less familiar with the place. Not a big deal, everyone has the right to start somewhere. -> Hence the two well-deserved stars. The extractor hood on each table doesn't seem to be extracting much anymore; are the filters changed regularly? So we smelled of meat when we left. This isn't a criticism in itself, as it's to be expected with the brazier and other grilled items on site. It's good to be aware of this. Now, regarding the food: Frozen vegetables -> okay, it's a steakhouse French fries -> fine Meats (steak tartare and ribeye) -> this is where things fall short. Steak tartare: huge portion, tasteless, unseasoned Ribeye: cooked properly. More sinew than edible pieces. No succulent fat that usually gives the ribeye its flavor. What's more, it's served with industrial-style sauces like cocktail, curry, and tartar sauce… for a ribeye steak? Really? Understandable for Chinese, braised, or beef bourguignon, but not for a ribeye. In short, the restaurant is seriously lacking in its specialty. That said, the prices aren't exorbitant, which reflects the fact that we're paying for quality. Another drawback: the wine glasses, but apparently larger glasses could be ordered—good to know… Best of luck.

I contacted the restaurant and the owner kindly agreed to send them to me via courier. A truly wonderful act of kindness in this crazy world!! A huge thank you!!
