15/05/2026: A unique setting and good food. We had a lovely lunch and the staff were friendly. The menus are also very reasonably priced.

15/05/2026: We went there somewhat by default, given the limited number of restaurants in Gueret, but we weren't disappointed! A very warm welcome, delicious and generous portions of meat, and the desserts were simply divine. The atmosphere was a bit noisy, but that's due to the dome's striking architecture. We'll definitely be back.

27/04/2026: The "tapas" starter was very meager for the price; breaded chicken and a thin slice of ham... a cold cut of meat with limp, almost frozen fries. The service was too slow but still acceptable. The only positive point was the friendly atmosphere where the owner interacted with the customers.

The prices are rather high, but the experience is worth trying at least once to relive Louis de Funès's experience in "L'Aile ou la Cuisse" in the same restaurant!

25/04/2026: We had a gourmet salad and a calf's head that were well worth the trip! The salad was varied, fresh, and generous. The calf's head was worthy of a good family meal, and I mean that in a good way. It was excellent, simple, but incredibly satisfying. We wish we could see dishes like this more often. And what generosity! The service was also excellent. We would even make the 25 km trip to this restaurant just to come back and eat their calf's head again! The chef is a true chef!

19/04/2026: Coming from another region, I chose this restaurant for lunch during our stopover to break up our journey. I had seen that there was a safe play area for children, which is what made it stand out from the others. I was very disappointed upon arrival because the restaurant is right next to the road; there are indeed grassy areas around it, but no barriers or fences, so it was impossible to let the children go there unsupervised without any danger. The atmosphere is nice, the decor is pleasant, and the place is pleasant. The food is good. A big disappointment was the fries, which were very underwhelming (even the children didn't like them). The meat for the adults was good and cooked as requested, but we had asked for medium-rare for our children and were given rare. The prices are quite reasonable, and the staff is friendly (they forgot the coffee, but that happens). I really liked the option to book online; it's very convenient. So, overall, my experience was mixed.

17/04/2026: We're on holiday in the Ardèche region, and we discovered this restaurant after visiting the Crocodile Farm. It was fantastic! The service was quick and efficient, even though it was very busy. The whole team was friendly and welcoming. We went back a second time because we really enjoyed it. The grassy area is perfect for children too. I highly recommend it!

21/04/2026: Okay, but a few missteps. I went with a client, without a reservation. We easily found a seat in the large upstairs room, although the limited space made business conversations a bit difficult – to be expected in this type of establishment. The staff was friendly, but one detail spoiled the experience: our dishes were switched when we ordered. They realized it, took the dishes back under the pretext of an "order error"... only to serve them again two minutes later, still a false claim, without explanation or apology. A shame, because we would have readily accepted the mistake as it was. In total: €90 for two tartares (one of which was 300g), sparkling water, and two gourmet coffees. The prices are in line with the market, but it's still surprising!

27/03/2026: Our lunchtime canteen… simply exceptional! Plenty of quality, real food made with passion for the pleasure of our customers. Different dishes every day, served with a smile and good cheer… I recommend it 100%!

21/03/2026: Perfect! As always. The food is truly excellent: flavorful, generous, and varied. The service is impeccable and fast; the waitresses are wonderful—pleasant and professional. They work at a fantastic pace because it's always packed, yet they remain consistently pleasant. We eat there regularly and plan to continue doing so. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and quantity. Be sure to make a reservation as it's always full.
