10/03/2026: Well, no... a restaurant is about the quality of the food: and it's there. But it's also about the service. While the young waitresses are smiling, the owner's annoyance is terribly palpable. The immediate dressing-down that greets customers outside ("no groups on weekends," "wait here until we come get you," "you won't be seated if your party isn't complete") quickly makes it clear that something special is going on here regarding customer relations... And the prices!!! Add to the cost of the dishes (2 deviled eggs = €16...) the systematic parade of extras: fries, sauces, €4, etc., and the pressure to order more. They also only offer one red wine, just to save time. In short: good meat, outrageous prices, a cute and clean place, but no cozy comfort... in short, stay home.

07/03/2026: We were a table of 10 last night celebrating a birthday. The food was good, but the service definitely ruined the experience. We felt rushed throughout the meal to finish our plates. At 11:10 pm on a Friday night, the waitress announced that the restaurant was closing in 5 minutes… quite surprising when a group was still at the table. When we started opening the birthday presents, we even overheard the waitress comment: “Oh, they’re opening the presents too!” For a bill of around €700, you expect at least a little consideration and professionalism. And to top it all off, some prices are clearly excessive: €4 for an extra sauce served in a tiny pot is hard to justify. It’s a shame, because the food is good, but with service like that and prices like these, the experience leaves a bitter taste.

19/03/2026: Honestly, I don't even know where to begin. Between the chicken, which was served cold inside and which we had to send back to the kitchen, only for it to return 25 minutes later with cold fries, half the salad missing, and meat so dry we nearly choked with every bite… the experience was already a disaster. Or let's talk about those so-called "caramelized pork ribs," which were actually just a huge, inedible lump of fat, served with plain white rice, no sauce, and no decent side dish whatsoever. And what about the financier, so dry it could almost have been renamed "mother-in-law choker." The most shocking thing was undoubtedly the waitress's reaction. When she asked us how the meal was, I made the mistake of telling her about this disastrous experience. Her only response was: "No, but all the pieces of meat were this fatty." In other words, she herself admitted that all the pieces were bad. Regarding the chicken, she even dared to claim it wasn't frozen, even though I had just sent it back to the kitchen because the inside was still ice cold. Yet, this restaurant had been recommended to me as a good place for meat. I can assure you it's one to avoid, both for the quality of the food and for this waitress's dishonesty. However, I would like to point out that the second waitress, as well as the waiter who brought us cutlery, were absolutely kind. We sincerely thank them for their professionalism.

08/03/2026: We ate well because you can tell it was homemade... however, the portion sizes were small... compared to the photos... the portions are nowhere near the same size today, despite the affordable prices, which aren't exactly cheap either... I think that's a shame. Otherwise, the staff were generally pleasant.

Special mention for the delightful Valentine's Day cocktail, as beautiful as it was tasty! We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

02/02/2026: I often come to La Cidrière for lunch; the food is homemade and good. The daily menu is a reasonable €14. Perfect for someone who wants a quick lunch. The service is fast, the manager is super friendly, and he'll find you a table even if it's full. A must-try crêperie... Plus, they have a wide selection of crêpes.

21/02/2026: It's highly recommended to book. Quite small downstairs, but cosy. Plenty of parking lot on wet weather. Quite a nice view to the sea. Network connection instable in this area.

31/03/2026: If you want Bocuse-style food, Croco isn't the place to go. Gourmet food for 20 euros? If you know of any, please let me know. Personally, I come every week and I know it's not perfect, but it's still good. If I'm not happy with a dish, I say so and they change it without any problem. The only downside is that whoever designs the dishes certainly didn't go to a top culinary school. Salmon goes well with rice. Why take it off the menu? It's so good with a pat of butter. Beef tartare with a green sauce—what a brilliant idea! The best cuisine is simplicity. A word to the wise.

03/01/2026: This restaurant only serves pizza, but what pizzas they are! The homemade dough and toppings are delicious. They're crispy, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly flavorful. The service is attentive and friendly. No problem at all taking a few slices home in a box to enjoy at the next day's picnic.

08/11/2025: A wonderful little restaurant tucked away in the Gers countryside. The food is truly excellent, served in the extraordinary atmosphere of a former forge converted into a restaurant. I go there every time I'm exploring this beautiful corner of the world. I highly recommend this restaurant. Remember to book ahead.
