09/07/2026: The food isn't good. I first went to Paris three years ago, and I wanted to give the one in Lyon a chance, but they didn't live up to that expectation.
08/07/2026: Steak salad for almost €19… there was practically nothing in it, the little bit of meat was tough… avoid it!
It's shameful to offer salads at this price!

22/07/2026: Very disappointed with the experience… The service was cold and slow, the dishes were served cold, we had to ask for the coffee ordered with the dessert, no bread basket was served, and with the coffee we had to ask for a chocolate or a biscuit, only to be told they were out of stock… In short, this will be our last visit because we almost felt like we were bothering the waiters even though the restaurant wasn't full at all.
21/07/2026: The wait staff weren't great at welcoming us! Our reservation was useless. After waiting for a table, we had to wait another 15 minutes to order...
But the food was fantastic, starting with the basic flank steak served with excellent mashed potatoes and a delicious Roquefort sauce.
NB: I didn't appreciate the "suggestion" to change my basic flank steak (€14.90 I think) for a Black Angus flank steak costing over €22...

25/07/2026: Fast-food style restaurant, but I must point out that the meat is good and tender. The side dishes are uninteresting. The ice cream sundae is low-quality, without whipped cream, but still €9.50!

I highly recommend this restaurant where we enjoyed a family meal.
I loved the ribeye steak cooked over an open fire.
It's a real pleasure to find this kind of establishment again! 🤩🙏

12/07/2026: A wonderful experience at La Boucherie de Challans! There were four of us, and we had a fantastic time from start to finish.
The welcome was warm and professional, the restaurant is clean and pleasant, and the service was impeccable. We had a soft drink, main course, and dessert for just under €120. The portions were generous (with unlimited fries), the food was high quality, and the servings were excellent.
We highly recommend this place for a great family meal. We'll definitely be back!

18/07/2026: The change of ownership five years ago and the introduction of an all-you-can-eat buffet is regrettable. It used to be an excellent Korean barbecue; I just hope I don't get food poisoning, as the gyozas were clearly past their expiration date, both in taste and smell.
12/07/2026: With this sweltering weather, a refreshing meal was most welcome, and this restaurant offered a selection of well-prepared salads with exotic flavors. The service was efficient and very helpful.

17/05/2026: This is a restaurant that could easily earn 5 stars.
Regarding our meal, a few more kidneys than the few pieces lost in the mashed potatoes would have been a plus.
The charming young woman who provided the service also richly deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately, this service has to be reduced by 50% because the young waiter seemed profoundly bored with the customers. Perhaps a skills assessment and career change are in order.
The setting is very tasteful. Well done on the decor.
