30/07/2025: We had a wonderful time at this pizzeria! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with kindness and a smile. The service was impeccable: the server was attentive, responsive to our requests, and always available. The restaurant's atmosphere is friendly, relaxed, and pleasant, perfect for a meal with friends or family. As for the food, it's simply delicious! The pizzas were tasty, generously topped, made with quality ingredients and a perfect crust, as were the other dishes. A real treat. A wonderful discovery that we recommend without hesitation, and where we will gladly return!

15/01/2026: We came as a group, and some people had a last-minute change of plans and had to leave early. The staff were informed, and the service was handled very well; we all finished our meals at the same time. The dining room wasn't very noisy. The portions were very generous, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. I hadn't been to this restaurant before, and I'll definitely go back.

08/11/2025: Unbeatable value for money! For two people, we had a starter, main course, dessert, and drink for €35 in total, and the welcome was incredibly warm. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to stop by; it's truly excellent value for money.

28/02/2026: A friendly welcome awaited us at this noisy restaurant with its kitschy "Castilian & bullfighting" decor in a very vintage sixties style... hmm. The food was impeccable and delicious. That's the main thing. Our small group opted for the set lunch menu: starter, main course, and dessert. The salmon starter was excellent. That day, the main course was "confit pork ribs" with a choice of fries, pasta, or green vegetables. It was tasty and tender. The available desserts, crème brûlée or floating island, didn't exactly set the world on fire. In short, we ate well overall, but the drinks were a bit of a letdown. For an aperitif, my half-pint of wheat beer was frankly expired and undrinkable. They replaced it, but the waiter didn't seem at all surprised. A completely clueless waitress served tomato juice to a friend and didn't even know what celery salt was. Free info: Celery salt is a mild seasoning for tomato juice, as well as vegetable broths and legumes. It also flavors the "Bloody Mary" cocktail. We had a good time, but since the waitress didn't ask if we wanted wine or anything else, we ate with tap water. A shame. As for the itemized bill, it was rounded up for payment but not issued, and that was that.

01/03/2026: We came for drinks and dessert, and we tried and loved: pear French toast, apple tart, spritz, port… Served quite quickly (under 10 minutes). Friendly and smiling staff. Nice, warm, and cozy decor. A good time for a couple.

23/02/2026: Food is delicious and staff and so polite, attentive and welcoming. We ate here two out of our 4 nights. On the second occasion it was busier and I would say more cosy sitting next to other groups/couples but a lovely atmosphere.

27/02/2026: I just saw a tempting ad for this restaurant on TikTok, and I love red meat! But I won't be going there because there are too many comments about very problematic practices, like charging €30 or €40 for no-shows even though customers showed up to a closed restaurant or even honored their reservations and ordered food! The worst part is that no compensation or apology was offered. For the price of the bill, the meat is sometimes tough and poor quality, and the portion size doesn't even make up for it! This kind of scam is unacceptable these days!

03/03/2026: Nice, but could be better. I'm taking the time to write a long review because this restaurant has real potential! The Caesar salad, for example, isn't complicated: you need good ingredients. Here, the tomatoes (in winter!!) aren't ripe and are certainly full of pesticides. The salad isn't very flavorful... I know, we'll say that's typical, but it's the main ingredient. The chicken nuggets are well-prepared but there's too much of them, and they don't taste like real chicken (you can tell it's factory-farmed). A good free-range chicken is good, though, and it's better when you know the animal had a decent life. In 2026, we won't care anymore. The Parmesan is the cheapest kind... but good Parmesan is good. That's also what you expect from a Caesar salad. The sauce is okay but lacks anchovies (traditional in this recipe). The croutons taste of nothing but the frying oil they've soaked through. It's a shame because it's immediately obvious that you've chosen to reduce the quality of the ingredients to increase your profit margins, and we don't want to experience that when we go to a restaurant. Yet, the cooking itself is excellent. You should reduce the amount of chicken and Parmesan, remove the fresh tomatoes (perhaps replace them with homemade sun-dried tomatoes when they're out of season), spice up the sauce a bit, and highlight the quality of the ingredients. When we go to a restaurant, even at this price, we want to eat artisanal, handmade food, local and organic products that respect the customer, the kitchen, and the entire production chain. Otherwise, I'll just buy the same salad at Monoprix in a pre-packaged container and serve it on a plate to make it look like I'm at home. ON THE POSITIVE: The wine by the glass was good, the roasted Camembert was good (the bread was a bit too toasty), and the gourmet coffee was good. The service was impeccable and the setting very pleasant (I appreciated the few comic books available). Everything was clean and nicely decorated.

16/08/2024: I love the cake, the atmosphere, the kindness of everyone!! Always very good!! The products are fresh, the meat is good, the service is fast, and above all the pancake is crispy!

03/03/2026: Passing through Châtellerault, the hotel next door recommended this restaurant. My worst nightmare in over 40 years of working in the industry! I ordered a rare steak and ended up with a huge slab (and it was more than just a slab) on my plate. Even the knife couldn't handle it. I pointed this out to the waitress, who simply apologized. I got up to pay at the counter for the drink I had just had, and then they offered to replace my plate, given my dissatisfaction, which I refused because it was too late. I'm often in Châtellerault, but one thing is certain: I will never set foot in this place again. Luckily, I was able to order a drive-thru from a well-known restaurant chain and enjoy a steak (which many criticize). AVOID AT ALL COSTS
