22/07/2026: Very disappointed with the experience… The service was cold and slow, the dishes were served cold, we had to ask for the coffee ordered with the dessert, no bread basket was served, and with the coffee we had to ask for a chocolate or a biscuit, only to be told they were out of stock… In short, this will be our last visit because we almost felt like we were bothering the waiters even though the restaurant wasn't full at all.

21/07/2026: The wait staff weren't great at welcoming us! Our reservation was useless. After waiting for a table, we had to wait another 15 minutes to order... But the food was fantastic, starting with the basic flank steak served with excellent mashed potatoes and a delicious Roquefort sauce. NB: I didn't appreciate the "suggestion" to change my basic flank steak (€14.90 I think) for a Black Angus flank steak costing over €22...

08/08/2026: Closed at 3 pm on Saturday, August 8th, a busy holiday weekend... absolutely no sense of service or business! Staff walked right past you for several minutes without saying hello, only to rudely tell you, "We're closed." Rather than eat or drink elsewhere in the building, we went and spent our money at a competitor further down the highway.

25/07/2026: Fast-food style restaurant, but I must point out that the meat is good and tender. The side dishes are uninteresting. The ice cream sundae is low-quality, without whipped cream, but still €9.50!

02/08/2026: The food is good, I must admit, but I suspect the burger patties are frozen, which I find disappointing. Furthermore, in an almost empty dining room, the waiter seated us right next to the only occupied table, which wasn't very comfortable. The music was too loud and didn't add much to the atmosphere, which is also a shame. To top it all off, the waiters' boisterous conversations were inappropriate in my opinion, as they loudly discussed divisive topics and customers, not to mention shouting to their colleagues across the room. It's a pity; I had heard good things about this establishment. I'm disappointed and won't be returning.

27/07/2026: Large portions. Tartar and crème brûlée were tasty. Fries soggy and greasy.

06/08/2026: Absolutely avoid this place!!! If you go through the kiosk and the ticket doesn't print, make sure you have the ticket, otherwise they'll treat you like a fool and humiliate you. I advise you to hire competent, kind, smiling, and ABOVE ALL, polite people! Personally, I'm going to avoid this Burger King.

14/07/2026: I spoke to the owner on the phone; the reception was appalling. She told me there were no more tables available, but when I arrived, not a single one was occupied.

12/07/2026: A wonderful experience at La Boucherie de Challans! There were four of us, and we had a fantastic time from start to finish. The welcome was warm and professional, the restaurant is clean and pleasant, and the service was impeccable. We had a soft drink, main course, and dessert for just under €120. The portions were generous (with unlimited fries), the food was high quality, and the servings were excellent. We highly recommend this place for a great family meal. We'll definitely be back!

11/07/2026: An idyllic setting with cicadas and vineyards nearby. Simple, delicious, and very generous cuisine, prepared with fresh ingredients. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They even shared some great places to discover in the area. A wonderful find, I highly recommend it!
