26/09/2024: Very pleasant and helpful staff! Diverse and varied dishes, each as good as the next! Nice little background music! Superb wooded decoration! A perfect moment spent with my darling in this restaurant! You have to taste everything and above all recommend them, as much for drinking as for eating! PS: very few restaurants offer fresh fruit and chocolate fondue for dessert!!

24/09/2024: Friendliness of staff, speed of service, small musical atmosphere, spaced seating. Good food and choice for all tastes. We will surely come back.

28/01/2025: What a disappointing culinary experience! There were three of us and we ordered 3 different dishes: - a carbonara pasta dish: arrived with uncooked pasta, which we were told was normal, it was "al dente", well, they went back to the kitchen to come back 1/4 later with the same cooking. - a Rossini-style beef dish with spinach: nothing to say about the tender and tasty beef! On the other hand, the spinach had fallen into the salt, awful! - a fish dish: impossible to tell if it was fish or not, without a pleasant flavor, just too spicy. We did not want to try the desserts and left disappointed given the prices charged by the establishment, really not at the level of an Italian restaurant worthy of the name.

27/01/2025: I couldn't stay for lunch because my guest had a problem on the road! On the other hand, when I wanted to pay for the bottle of water in cash, I was told to prefer the card, which I did! But I left my wallet on the counter and it disappeared! Very bad experience

05/11/2024: Disappointed by the quality of the meat (several fatty pieces) and very tasteless. Vegetables served in an aluminum tray. Poor entry and little sought after and not local. Few homemade things. Friendly welcome.

01/09/2024: Good morning , I took the grill formula for 16.90 euros I admit that I was expecting a starter, a main course and a dessert for a formula No, it's just a main course for €16.90, it's a little expensive for a main course even if it was very good (I would have liked to have been offered another side dish than fries with my salmon I would have preferred green beans, but they didn't offer it to me) The welcome was perfect 👍

07/08/2024: Pragmatic stop on a long travel route. Very nice home. Friendly staff. Very well advised on the choice of dishes, in the interest of the customer and not in the interest of turnover (this shows honesty of mind). The meat and sides were very good. Well done. I can't rate the atmosphere, because it was a Monday in August, at the very end of the evening and there weren't many people around. But I have no doubt that it must be good because the people serving seemed to love their restaurant. You can feel it.

10/09/2024: Delicious cold cuts, very pleasant waiter, perfect view of Lake Christus. Nothing to say... ah if I forget, if you want to eat peacefully in good company you can forget, A charming drone spied on us throughout our delicious dinner... Damn drone.

09/09/2024: Très bonne ambiance et professionnalisme grâce à Faiçal et son équipe, Lisa, Kathleen, morgane, Samuel, Pierre, Ivan, j'en oublie sûrement mais comme dirait Lisa "c'est pas grave ", nous faisons des km pour venir dîner dans ce bel endroit accueillant, la côte de boeuf est toppissime et les spécialités également.

07/09/2024: Endroit qui donnait envie sympa Menu du midi 20 e un peux cher.. Pas de choix 1 entree..1 plat..1 dessert Taboule bien bon Poisson pas trop de gout Riz legume le tout sans sauce un peux sec.. Le desert style tropezienne ..revoir le titre ..car 3 minis choux pas tout a fait décongelés fourres creme insipide sans aucune fioriture .. Le vin rosé tres bon.....

28/08/2024: Unfortunately I can't say much about it being refused on a Sunday at 1 p.m. despite there being free places on the terrace for 4... Fortunately others accept after 12 p.m. 😁

14/07/2024: The most unpleasant experience ever had in a restaurant. Came for the 2nd time to this restaurant. The first time, the waitress was already not very friendly. The 2nd, we arrive 15 minutes late (1:45 p.m.). We would have completely understood if someone told us that it was too late, but the waitress preferred to accept our arrival while showing all her contempt from the beginning to the end of the meal (we cut the music and turned off the light at 2:10 p.m. to keep us in a hurry anyway). When I spoke with her, she told me, with a tone as contemptuous as ever, that she did not have the right to refuse customers but that “she also has a life”. Just before, I heard him and his colleague attacking other customers: “and they haven’t left there yet?” So I wish this dear waitress to stop attacking customers, and instead to go and confront her boss if he refuses to say no to customers. It requires showing less cowardice though...

14/07/2024: Coming this afternoon with a relative with whom we hadn't seen each other for almost a year, our reunion was spoiled by a waitress in a foul mood. Haughty and unpleasant. We were quickly made to understand that we had to leave the premises after 2 p.m. (music and lights turned off). However, it was enough to tell us kindly. I will never come back and will take care to tell my experience to all my work colleagues who come regularly.

14/12/2024: Le repas était très bon, l’attente était trop longue par contre lors de notre passage vers 15h le samedi 14 décembre 2024, il y avait un serveur qui a travaillé, un jeune homme de couleur tout de noir vêtu qui était au bar aussi, très désagréable et irrespectueux qui ne mérite pas tout de travailler dans cette enseigne. Les autres serveurs ont été très correct et respectueux. Qu’il prennes exemple sur eux.

29/09/2024: Je me suis rendu à Hippopotamus un samedi soir ! On est allé sur un coup de tête en fin de soirée, voulant absolument l'entrée : œuf poché au chorizo ! Nous n'avons pas été déçus. On a bien été accueilli et servi rapidement, on a vraiment très bien mangé ! Il y avait très peu de monde, pour un samedi soir, je ne sais pas si nous sommes passées après le rush ou si vu que c'est les vacances, il y a moins de monde, en tout cas, on été très contente ! Si je veux chipoter : Hippopotamus prend les chèques vacances, mais pas en dématérialisé, c'est dommage, même si c'est un détail. Encore merci aux personnels, souriants, disponible et très professionnels ! Bon courage à l'équipe !
