17/08/2024: Visited the Cabannais restaurant today a bit by chance, we were told that it was a change of ownership and that it was their first day of taking over the restaurant. The welcome was very friendly, quality homemade cuisine with fresh regional products and reasonable prices, what more could you ask for?! The whole team was extremely kind and pleasant and made sure we had a great time with them and honestly it was really great. We were immediately put at ease with an aperitif offered by the house (delicious lemony mackerel spread and green olives as well as an aniseed melon smoothie) and by the warm welcome from the boss as well as the waitress. The dishes offered are nice, few in number (a guarantee of quality in my opinion) and varied (meat and fish), the cooking is perfectly successful and the presentation of the plates is very pretty. The desserts are simple and very well executed, enough to end on a good sweet note. I reiterate my compliments to the chef. An address not to be missed if you are in the area and are looking for a pleasant experience and cuisine made with the heart. I wish you all the success you deserve and see you soon! 31/08/2024: Clients depuis plusieurs années, c'est toujours un plaisir de venir dans ce restaurant . Les plats sont très bons et les tarifs très corrects comparé à la qualité de ce qui est proposé. Le service est très sympathique et professionnel. Je recommande sans hésitation.
24/08/2024: Trovato per caso, questo ristorante, turistico come probabilmente quasi tutti in loco, è stata una gradevole sorpresa. Una menzione particolare per l’orata al forno. Nonostante la taglia faccia sospettare un prodotto d’allevamento, potrebbe essere un prodotto di pesca. Magari proviene da un allevamento meno intensivo (e più serio). Ottimo il puré di patate, chiaramente “handmade”. E altrettanto dicasi per le patatas bravas, tra le migliori patate al gorno mai mangiate.

14/09/2024: We ate very well there one evening. The dishes are plentiful. I chose octopus with polenta, it was gargantuan. The desserts are also huge. The wine by the glass was excellent (Domaine du Var, Peyrassol) On the other hand, I would have appreciated if the waiter served us the glass with the bottle in hand... rather than coming with the glasses already filled. The terrace offers a very beautiful setting for the summer period. A little slow service
05/09/2024: I had the DAURADE fish dish with fries at La Piazza des Frangins, and it was hands down one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We also shared a 700g steak, which was a bit chewy but still enjoyable. The restaurant itself is beautifully lit, with a lovely outdoor terrace that lets you enjoy the cool evening breeze. The ambiance was perfect, and the free shots at the end of the night were a great touch. Highly recommend!

07/09/2024: Endroit très recommandé. We have three well-managed products that are friendly, personnel friendly and happy. Nous reviendrons c'est sûr! Very recommendable site. We ate very well and fresh products. Good atmosphere and nice place. If you ask for gluten-free options, they try to provide you with a dish appropriate to your needs. I have eaten there several times and have not had any problems. Every time you pass by there it is a mandatory stop.
03/09/2024: We recently dined at Bistrot des canisses and had the opportunity to try their Steak Tartare and Caesar Salad. While these dishes are classics, we were surprised to find that they had been heavily revisited, straying far from their authentic recipes. Unfortunately, the quality of the ingredients used did not quite meet expectations. However, the outdoor setting was lovely. Dining outside in the charming village ambiance added a pleasant touch to the experience.

03/08/2024: It was an extremely hot day. So everything on the menu was cold. We think this might have affected the quality of the food so I don't want to be too negative but the dishes were really hot or miss. Some dishes weren't cooked well or the presentation was off. Maybe it was an off day for the kitchen since it was about 35°C/95°F. I would maybe go back on a cooler day. The atmosphere of the back garden was really serene and the staff was very friendly and service was good. Just seems like the kitchen had an off day.

17/09/2024: excellent fresh fish dishes, but they don't joke with the barbecue either! everything was excellent, easy entry for those in wheelchairs. kindness, courtesy and cleanliness are not lacking. the bathroom is accessible, maximum attention to cleanliness.
11/09/2024: Great discovery, regular at Les Saintes, I had not yet tried this establishment, and well I was not disappointed. Very pleasant welcome, typical setting, delicious local bottarga, and local sea bass cooked pearly as requested, a treat.

04/09/2024: Dear owner, I use another account because Google does not allow me to respond to your response following my opinion (Pauline B), I will therefore respond point by point as you did: Thank you for your feedback. 1st • I did not report this problem to you earlier last June, because at the time I did not prefer to make waves, especially since I had been invited for the evening by villagers to this dinner, plus I told myself that it was only going to be a matter of days & that this incident was going to happen quickly. • You did not in fact find my name in the reservations for that evening, as I was invited to dinner in your restaurant. •I regret to tell you that if I was the only one to honestly explain the experience of this evening to you, it is because the people you say you know well did not want to offend you regarding this inconvenience like the consequences of this dinner were embarrassing, consequential & these people did not want to hurt you. • ⁠For “the symptoms appear a few hours after consuming the meal in question”, the patient's experience and the words of a doctor, especially after examinations, prove to be more accurate and certain than searches on the internet for example. My experience is very true, we can in fact recognize signs of food poisoning during the meal, as it had lasted quite a long time and there were in fact a large number of people to serve, digestion had already started, which corresponds well to the suspicion of the starters which had been placed outside on tables. Furthermore, you possibly talk about my lunch, except that that day I didn't have time for lunch & I was actually looking forward to this famous evening meal on the occasion of the music festival. The fateful signs actually appeared during the night, while the stomach ache arrived during the main course. The other consumers expressed having the same symptoms & disorders at the same time after this dinner, unless the 7 other lunches were coincidentally poorly preserved, the only common meal was the evening meal with the same symptoms declared at the same time . • ⁠Indeed, the people at our table went to your toilets & noticed that there was water damage & then told us to go to the toilets at their place, but that explains their approach to s having gone to your toilets & having noticed the dishes waiting to be served outside the fridges, on tables inside your restaurant. • ⁠I am relieved to see your constructive comment to understand the situation. The bacteria that caused me another problem by moving through my body is indeed a fairly strong intestinal bacteria that occurred during food poisoning, as doctors and analyzes attest. I did not contact the other 7 people today, I did not ask them for details of their current status as this remains a private matter and would be too intrusive on my part. On the other hand, they were very ill for several days after this famous dinner last June following this food poisoning. The only one sick today is myself, from the same bacteria which has lodged elsewhere, perhaps because I am more fragile than the others, which is why I said to myself that it would be better to write this comment so that others as fragile as me do not become ill as I am currently. I'm not going to divulge my entire private life either, already because I think I've said enough about my condition for a comment. If I wanted to write the latter it was only to give my opinion, I did not expect to obtain compensation from you. For my part, I did what was necessary for my health to improve. 03/09/2024: I didn't think I would make this comment one day, except that my experience continues with me even today... I came to eat in this restaurant for the music festival, last Saturday June 22. The team members are friendly, that's not the problem, except that I'm writing this review to talk about the culinary side of my experience in this restaurant. I got food poisoning right after eating there that evening. (The first signs developed during the main course, shortly after clearing the starter.) I wasn't the only one to have been in this situation, there were 8 of us who were in this state just after this dinner... Some managed to recover, but only after 2 weeks. Which is still quite a long time for food poisoning… In my case, the bacteria that was identified and which is the cause still causes me problems today... Some having gone to the toilet during this famous evening, claimed to have noticed that the plates of chicken salad, having been served as a starter, were placed on tables outside the fridges inside the restaurant. Certainly, on the day of the music festival there were several consumers, around large tables for this event in the village, being served by this restaurant. So certainly for a question of organization and management for the preparation as well as the service, and certainly for lack of space in the fridges for conservation, given the number of people to be served, the starter plates were exposed to outside to be served, but for how long? If I write this comment today, while I wanted to move on from this incident at the beginning, even while experiencing a bad moment, it is because I believe that after reflection, it is important to share my experience which can be serious for people who are even less resistant, from a health point of view, and for whom such an error in conservation and management can be fatal. I am writing this comment so that this error cannot occur again. Because today, in my state, I in no way wish anyone to live with this bacteria which has been affecting my health for more than 2 months, since this culinary experience, in this restaurant where I went because the cuisine reminded me of my time living in Guadeloupe. (Regarding my opinion from the purely culinary side and not only the causes of this evening: The starter even in taste was nothing more. The main course was a little better, however the meat of the stew was hard to eat. For dessert a pot of chocolate ice cream… The menu, I presume, was made to be served quickly without dwelling on the quality of the dishes. On the other hand, the planter was good!). To conclude, I think that favoring serving a large number in order to maximize potential profit, but neglecting the health of your customers, who place their trust in you for the duration of a meal for what you put on their plate, this represents a much more serious and intentional error that can cost much more than an evening's service.

07/05/2024: Vor ca. 35 Jahren war ich ( tatsächlich) zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant. Im Gastraum hat sich in der Zwischenzeit nichts geändert, maghrebinisch ungemütlich, aber authentisch. Und das Cous-Cous war eine Offenbarung. Alles war vorhanden, sogar ein Schälchen mit heißen Weintrauben. Die Fleischbeilage beim Cous-Cous Royal ok, sonst etwas wenig, aber man kann mehr Fleischbeilage verhandeln. Der Wirt nett und zuvorkommend. Ich war rundum zufrieden. Absolute Empfehlung für Geniesser, die es gerne etwas authentischer haben wollen und irgendwelches Chi-Chi für eher ablenkend halten.
