09/09/2026: Often imitated but never equaled.

03/09/2026: We had a reservation at 9:45 pm. As we ordered dessert an drinks, the waitress told us we have to leave immediately if we don’t order atleast one dish per person, because it’s not good for the profit of the restaurant if we don’t. While this is understandable, we would have liked to know, that you HAVE to spent a certain amount. And the way the waitress handled the situation was quite uncomfortable. If it would have been a nice atmosphere, we might have even ordered more. But telling paying customers to leave the table right now, because it’s not profitable is just not very nice.

27/07/2026: As always, for the second time I'm here, everything is very good, food, service and quality, 20 euros parking ticket, they give you a parking ticket, first, second and third, very good, tasty enough, shower, you pay two euros separately, there is a very nice grandfather who was in the legion, he accommodates and welcomes you and the atmosphere is very nice, you can take a walk somewhere, there is an alley down, it passes by the vineyards of a chateau nearby, the alley is two and a half kilometers and at sunset it is very nice, quiet and cool, even at the end of July. I wish you all success and a pleasant holiday.

23/07/2026: Based on other Routier restaurants in France, Mily Metre is a big step ahead. The owner is always smiling and ready to joke, and the restaurant is full of good-humored guests. The menu offers a daily menu, à la carte dishes and pizza. Draft beer is €3, and the daily menu is €17.50 (starter, main course, dessert, wine and water). If you want a good piece of entrecôte, you have to pay another €4, which I think is completely justified. The showers are clean and cost €2, and the toilet is neat and clean. The parking lot is lit and safe. The only small complaint is the enormous amount of dust in the parking lot. If colleagues (not all of them, of course, but those who rush in as if they were driving a Formula 1 car will be recognized) had a little more respect for the guests on the terrace and colleagues who sleep with the windows open, they would enter slowly and there wouldn't be so much dust. Best regards to the staff and the owner, until we meet again!

26/05/2026: We were a bit disappointed; we came last year and this year was nothing like it... The quality wasn't as good... and the prices were ridiculously high.

18/05/2026: Excellent Tunisian food option in Marseille. They have a set menu option for €13.50 with a main course, dessert, and mint tea, which is very generously served and worth every penny. My husband and I tried it and have no complaints. The food arrived quickly, was plentiful, and delicious!

28/08/2026: The pastry and filling are perfect!!! What I love most is when the pastry is completely covered by the filling, and I end up eating even the "sidewalks" 🫡... Another great thing about this restaurant is their excellent wine recommendations, as they have a very good wine cellar. So, forgive me! But don't miss out if you come all this way. 08/09/2026: A huge thank you to the lady who kindly let me use the restroom in her establishment, without me having to pay her anything. It's becoming extremely rare to find such kindness in cafes and restaurants. As a resident of La Ciotat, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to take the time to check out the menu at this cafe.

08/09/2026: A peaceful spot barely 50 meters from the bustling harbor. Excellent freshly squeezed orange juice. In my opinion, it's not a hotel, so asking about rooms is pointless.

At Le Rouget, you're welcomed with a smile and a big smile, the ingredients are fresh, and the food is delicious (the fish soup is amazing, the bull entrecote with homemade fries is a real treat, and the salted butter tiramisu is divine). In short, if you want to eat well at a great place run by wonderful people, go to Le Rouget!

10/08/2026: They took such good care of us!! The decorations were magical, the entire organization was incredible, from the meal to the flowers, all the guests were blown away and it truly was the most beautiful day of our lives!

20/09/2026: A superb meal in such a beautiful setting. Possibly the best fillet steak I have ever eaten! I highly recommend this brasserie.
