28/10/2025: We had a great meal at this restaurant as a family. Good value for money with a lovely view of the harbor.

02/10/2025: 5 stars because the service was great, the food too and truly homemade. The homemade fries were visible and the shallot sauce deglazed with what I think was beer was a treat. We did not regret choosing this restaurant on the harbor.

22/02/2026: A wonderful experience this past Saturday, February 21st. Everything was homemade, even my burger bun! The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I accidentally dropped my cocktail on the floor, and they kindly remade it for me free of charge. I'd only had two sips, but the gesture was especially appreciated. In short, a great time with my girlfriend, and we'll definitely be back.

05/01/2026: We went to Gemozac for New Year's Eve on December 31st. The celebration was organized by Béatrice, who works at the Presbytery in Epargne. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that all the staff and Chef Yannick were there to prepare and serve us an excellent meal. I almost forgot to mention that the reception hall was beautifully decorated. The tables were covered with white tablecloths, the dishes were white porcelain, and fresh flowers adorned them. Thank you to Béatrice and her team for their attention to detail, thank you to Béatrice for organizing this wonderful New Year's Eve celebration. Thank you to the Chef and his team. Thank you to the entire dining room staff; you were always kind and attentive to our needs. Thanks to the very friendly DJ, we had a great time dancing and were the last to leave...around 5 a.m. We sometimes come to the Presbytery for lunch and are always delighted with the food and the welcome...my family didn't regret traveling over 500 km from Auvergne... Thanks again to you all!!

24/10/2025: We chose takeout twice and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The first time, we ordered flank steak and fries. The meat was cooked perfectly, with crispy fries and a small salad bowl to top it all off! The second time, we ordered market fish (sea bream and hake). Once again, it was cooked perfectly and accompanied by seasonal vegetables. Another treat! Warm welcome. A place to remember.

06/12/2025: A very warm and welcoming evening. The food was delicious and the waitress was smiling, kind, and offered helpful advice. (Louis, 9 years old, who was lucky enough to accompany his parents on a Saturday night out on Earth 🤌)

29/01/2026: The dishes were well-cooked and nicely presented, but beware of inaccurate descriptions on the menu board. For example, an avocado with tuna was listed as mixed with smoked salmon, and a chocolate and citrus cake turned out to be just a kiwi and citrus cake with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. This really spoiled the experience.

08/12/2025: The most beautiful tea room I know. We discovered it as a group of girls. We were very comfortable in a lounge upstairs. Beautiful vintage decor. The pastries and drinks are delicious and satisfying. The menu is very varied with lots of choices. The prices are reasonable. The waitresses gave us a warm welcome. I highly recommend it.

09/02/2026: While in La Rochelle, we tried Theo Chereau's pastries and it was a truly wonderful discovery! There were four of us, and we sat in the tea room. We received a very warm welcome, and the service from the sales team was impeccable and professional. We sampled five pastries and a flaky brioche. The presentation was flawless, with meticulous attention to detail, excellent balance of sweetness, and pronounced flavors. In short, top-notch! Congratulations to your entire team!

09/02/2026: It just goes to show, everyone has different tastes: My husband and I sampled five pastries from Mr. Chereau this past Sunday, the 8th. And frankly, we weren't impressed. Only one really appealed to us: the iceberg. Otherwise, everything was too sweet, too many different flavors, just too much of everything. We're used to fine dining, but we were disappointed. I don't doubt his skill at all, but for us, it wasn't to our liking. However, the trompe-l'oeil effects were well done; there's no denying that.

29/11/2025: We received a very warm welcome at this small restaurant where we had lunch as a couple without a reservation. We chose two set menus (starter, main course, and dessert). The burrata salad was delicious, the pulled pork was very good and generous, served with mashed potatoes, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We finished with a butter and sugar crêpe. My partner also greatly enjoyed his couscous and the chocolate fondant with crème anglaise. The restaurant filled up quickly, no doubt due to its popularity. We will definitely return and highly recommend La Rozell de Marans. Well done to the whole team!

09/11/2025: Nice little restaurant; given the season, we had lunch inside. We enjoyed the homemade black pudding with mashed potatoes, which brought back memories of the good old days. Pleasant service and a very reasonable bill. What more could you ask for? We'll be back.

08/02/2026: Restaurant. Lunch this Sunday, February 8, 2026. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Simple, authentic, and creative cuisine, perfectly priced. The owner/chef is a bit of a character, but his humor is as subtle as his dishes; okay, he forgot the ice in my cognac, but who cares? There are worse things. I recommend it for those who want to treat themselves.

05/02/2026: I didn't stay at the hotel, but I did enjoy the restaurant. Excellent cuisine, beautifully presented. The chef greets you in the dining room. Highly recommended.

07/01/2026: What a lovely surprise! We went on January 2nd. We ate at the "oyster bar." A trio platter and some "special" oysters on top. Delicious! The owners are super friendly. We'll be back and we've recommended it to our friends from Charente!
