20/05/2026: I had a salad and something like a thin-crust pizza. It wasn't surprising, but it was pretty good. Considering the high cost of living in Paris these days, it even felt like a bargain. I wanted to eat outside, but smoking was allowed, so I gave up on that idea.

17/05/2026: One star. I ordered a dish expecting it to be served hot, but it arrived completely cold and they didn't explain it but just told me to look to the dish on another table. I politely asked if it could be replaced, especially since I hadn’t even touched it, but the owner refused. In the end, I paid for a meal I never ate. Very disappointing customer service and overall experience. Adding in response to the owner: I asked to replace a plate that was taken out of the fridge and you could just put it again in the fridge since it was not touched neither someone had to cook it just for me at the moment. You told me you couldn't change it anyway and was too late. For the tarte flambè and the salad, we didn't have any problem as you wrote, but as soon as we had a problem, your response was in short "too late, you ordered it". In other places where there is real attention to clients, at least they offer alternatives better than this.

03/09/2026: This restaurant was great. It was family owned and felt really authentic. The food was delicious. I had some Alsatian classics (Baeckhoffe, Kougelhof, Munster) which were all delivered to perfection. I can also recommend the Tarte a l’Onion (onion quiche) which was delicious. The service was pleasant and the decoration heartwarming and authentic. My highlight from Alsace!

18/08/2026: Such a wonderful, friendly & truly authentic Alsace restaurant with home cooking. We had amazing service and wine pairing with our food. The waiter had everyone in the restaurant talking and smiling to each other, its was so warm and great personal service. So enjoyed our lunch there and we will keep coming back every time we are in Eguisheim. So very worth it. Merci!!

We had planned a family gathering before our children's wedding and were very impressed by the communication leading up to the event, the organization on the day itself, and the delicious food, worthy of a fine restaurant. We had complete peace of mind knowing we were in good hands and were truly able to enjoy our guests. Highly recommended!

20/09/2026: Excellent place! Sauerkraut with beer (not white wine). So, the "traditionalists" will say it's not "real," and they're right, but at least you won't have it sitting in your stomach all day! The cabbage and charcuterie were top quality. There was only one person in the dining room and one in the kitchen, yet the wait was perfectly reasonable. The chef is a true master, who knows his craft. Well done!

28/09/2026: Honestly, it's really worth it! The ingredients are fresh and seasonal, and the meal was delicious. A special shout-out to the food and drink pairing, which was fantastic thanks to the wine merchant's excellent recommendations. I find some of the reviews I've read about this restaurant far too demanding: the establishment clearly states its commitment to "buying local," so it makes perfect sense not to find any big-brand, mass-produced sodas there. A great place to discover in Colmar!

29/08/2026: A place brimming with charm and delicious treats, prepare your stomach for this avalanche of homemade delights, from appetizer to dessert. 😋🍰 Be prepared for a short 15-minute walk uphill from the parking lot and a car with good ground clearance. ⛰️🚗 Highly recommended. 👍

10/06/2026: My wife and I stayed two nights at the Hotel Auberge Alsacienne. Our room was comfortable and it’s a great place to stay to explore Equisheim and the beautiful surrounding countryside and vineyards. It’s a short drive to the busier Colmar. There is on-site parking. We purchased the in-hotel breakfasts and were not disappointed. A nice array of foods to sample and choose from. The service from the staff was also very good.

28/03/2026: We had a wonderful time at the Auberge d'Eguisheim; the food was delicious and well-prepared. The welcome was also warm and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this place.

17/08/2026: We stopped by during our stay and received a wonderfully warm welcome. The food was perfect, homemade, and the atmosphere was very family-friendly. The hostess was incredibly kind and welcoming. The quality was excellent; we weren't disappointed at all. The price was very reasonable. We will definitely be back.
