07/12/2025: The entrance wasn't easy to find, located in a courtyard, but it was beautifully decorated with a fountain, Christmas decorations, a pond with goldfish, etc. Friendly welcome. Alsatian atmosphere as soon as you walk in. The restaurant offers tarte flambée and other regional products. Perfect, we came to eat local food. Not too many local desserts. Tarte flambée with Munster cheese was a generous portion! The flavor was a bit bland. We wanted to order two portions of fries, but the waiter advised us to order only one—a thoughtful gesture, as we didn't even finish the first one! Thank you. For dessert, we had apple cinnamon tart flambéed with Calvados, again very generous! It was hard to finish it all. In conclusion: it's definitely an Alsatian restaurant; it's good, nothing more, but the portions are very generous and the staff is friendly. We had a good time.

07/01/2025: Chez Hoto in Mulhouse is a real hidden gem! As soon as you walk through the door, you feel at home thanks to the warm welcome from the team. The dishes are just perfect: everything is fresh, tasty, and the portions are generous. Whether it's the pizzas or the kebabs, everything is mastered to perfection, nothing needs to be changed. The prices are more than fair for such top quality. If you are looking for a place to eat well without breaking the bank, this is the place to go. An unmissable place that we want to keep secret!🥰

18/12/2025: I really wanted to try the fries menu, and honestly, we were disappointed. We ordered one portion with beer and one with semolina; the beer fries were okay but very greasy, while the semolina fries were rather bland but less greasy. The fries were really good and nice and crispy. I only tasted the pretty little green salad because there was too much dressing (which wasn't exceptional at all, by the way). The service was friendly and attentive, but at no point were we asked if we were happy with our meal or if it suited us! What a shame! The set menu, on the other hand, was nice, simple, but good. There was quite a wait, but it didn't matter, we weren't in a hurry. We had trouble having a conversation, though, because it was very noisy! We might try the terrace sometime...

Potato gratin loveless and undercooked. Meat portion small. Tiramisu very small and watery, way too much cocoa and expensive
