17/08/2026: We dined at Le 17 Restaurant during our vacation to celebrate our daughter's birthday; the owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. I had asked for a cake to celebrate our daughter's eleventh birthday: not only did the restaurant organize it, but it also offered it for free! The dishes were excellent and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for an excellent dinner in Mulhouse, at prices that reflect the high quality of the cuisine. If we come back to Mulhouse, we will definitely stay here again. 09/07/2026: This was our first stop as we hit Alsace. I've heard the region was famous for its food, so when I had the chance to eat all this, I was very pleasantly surprised. In fact, I was almost a bit spoilt because almost everything else in the Alsace region couldn't beat the quality and balance of the menu here. I travel with adults who tend to be quite fussy with their preferences in terms of diet. Can't be too strong in bold flavours, can't be too sour, can't be too gamey, can't be too fatty. This restaurant however, received no complaints whatsoever. That's a huge compliment in itself. It's a bit more of a modern take on french dining than the typical winstubs of the Alsace region, but I'm happy to dine here again and try everything off of their menu. It's a pity our appetites weren't super big, if not we'd definitely have ordered more food. I personally think this deserves to be on the Michelin guide. Thanks for the meal :)

07/07/2026: Great place, warm welcome, and a lovely little terrace. The dishes are very good and well-portioned. I recommend it. However, the prices of drinks, especially juices, are outrageous: €6.50 for tomato juice and €6 for grapefruit juice! And no drinks menu was provided so you could know the prices beforehand!

22/06/2026: Personalized welcome and very professional service at this establishment. Very clean rooms, small balcony, comfortable beds. Excellent food as well, with a crêpe menu the first evening and a classic menu the second (half-board). À la carte breakfast with quality products.

09/01/2026: We couldn’t resist walking past this beautiful shop and weren’t disappointed. The staff were incredibly helpful and more than happy to indulge all our questions. The produce is fresh, as local as possible, and delicious. We came back the next day for more and enjoyed everything we came home with.

21/07/2026: Excellent service; the servers accommodated my request to change my side dish. Both of our main courses were very good. A minor complaint about the dessert, the brownie: three tiny, dry pieces.

04/07/2026: The food at this restaurant was genuinely good, which makes the experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, the service we received from our waiter was completely unacceptable. From the moment we sat down, we were met with aggression and impatience. When I politely mentioned that I don’t eat eggs, he shouted at me and asked angrily, “Why don’t you eat eggs?” – as if I needed to justify a dietary choice. That is not how you treat guests. We were a table of 12, and when we asked for more butter, he told us to finish what was on the table first and only then would he bring more. That single platter was barely enough for 4 people, let alone 12. It made everyone uncomfortable and hesitant to take any, worried there wouldn’t be enough for others. Worse still, my main course was ruined due to his mistake, and when I asked for a replacement, he refused flat out. No apology, no attempt to make it right. This is not hospitality – this felt more like an army canteen. We left feeling frustrated and embarrassed, and we will not be returning unless there is a serious change in how customers are treated. Such a shame, because the kitchen clearly deserves better representation.

25/05/2026: Excellent restaurant, high-quality cuisine and top-notch service. The only slight drawback is that the menus lack a bit of originality for a fine-dining establishment.

20/05/2026: I had a salad and something like a thin-crust pizza. It wasn't surprising, but it was pretty good. Considering the high cost of living in Paris these days, it even felt like a bargain. I wanted to eat outside, but smoking was allowed, so I gave up on that idea.

17/05/2026: One star. I ordered a dish expecting it to be served hot, but it arrived completely cold and they didn't explain it but just told me to look to the dish on another table. I politely asked if it could be replaced, especially since I hadn’t even touched it, but the owner refused. In the end, I paid for a meal I never ate. Very disappointing customer service and overall experience. Adding in response to the owner: I asked to replace a plate that was taken out of the fridge and you could just put it again in the fridge since it was not touched neither someone had to cook it just for me at the moment. You told me you couldn't change it anyway and was too late. For the tarte flambè and the salad, we didn't have any problem as you wrote, but as soon as we had a problem, your response was in short "too late, you ordered it". In other places where there is real attention to clients, at least they offer alternatives better than this.
