15/08/2026: We hiked to the farm inn for a bite to eat and it was very good.

13/08/2026: Hikers, beware! ⚠️ If you think you can just grab a bite to eat on the go, you're sorely mistaken! After waiting 30 minutes, we went to ask if someone could help us. We were told that without a reservation, we couldn't eat. Suggestion to the hostel managers: Put up a sign saying "no reservation, no meal," it would prevent frustration...

14/06/2026: Friendly terrace and staff very close to the cathedral; the sauerkraut was good, the sirloin steak less so (too thick and tough despite being cooked well). Reasonable prices (€52 for two courses and two Cokes).

11/06/2026: My girlfriend and I came on Thursday evening, June 11th, and everything was perfect, from the excellent food to the very warm service (a special shout-out to the Asian waiter who served us from beginning to end). We highly recommend this restaurant.

03/08/2026: We came to Kingersheim to visit family, and so it was the perfect opportunity to eat a flammekueche... Meh, we were disappointed. The salmon was average and dry, not to mention the incredibly slow service... Meh. First and last time!

23/05/2026: The food was excellent, and the green courtyard had a lovely atmosphere. The hostess was very kind and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The rooms were also perfectly fine.

19/07/2026: The tarte flambée was, in our opinion, the best in the village. However, the waiter, a real Robbie Williams 2.0, was quite something 😁, very, let's say, ambitious, serving us quickly so he could reassign the table. Nevertheless, the food was good, the atmosphere nice, but it's not a place to linger and share a tarte flambée as a snack, since sharing a dish incurs a €100 charge. You can understand the philosophy behind it, but you don't have to; I think everyone does what they want... different establishment, different rules...

18/07/2026: Having visited several times already, the restaurant offers a wide selection of quality regional dishes in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, thanks to a smiling and attentive team and a carefully designed decor.

27/06/2026: We went to the restaurant to discover this place. We received excellent service, and the dishes were generous and delicious. We returned a second time, and it was exactly the same. The welcome was warm and friendly, even genuinely kind. And the food was still as delicious as ever. Thank you.

02/05/2026: The highlight is the restaurant. They set the bar so high that we didn't enjoy any other restaurant for the rest of our stay in Alsace. The hotel itself is simple, but clean and nicely decorated with artwork. The service is impeccable—pleasant, helpful, and warm. It's a real treat and almost a rarity these days to find this level of quality in tourist areas.

20/04/2026: No swimming pool. The rooms are a bit bland. Nevertheless, we had a good night's sleep. The restaurant isn't anything special; I found it very basic and average considering the price. The positive point is the large parking lot. So my opinion is rather mixed. I think it's a bit expensive for what's offered, but it wasn't unpleasant.

23/07/2026: What an amazing, wonderful, and adorable shop – made with so much love and craftsmanship! THANK YOU!!!!!!! The colors, the aroma, and, last but not least, the friendly team invite you to linger. We only discovered the small terrace in the courtyard on second glance. Parking is free in the courtyard. When we were there, there was hardly any waiting time, and the friendly team took good care of us. The croissants are fantastic and clearly demonstrate why the French love this puff pastry so much. 21/12/2025: We discovered this restaurant during our stay for the Christmas markets. It's an unusual restaurant with its small dining room seating 17, decorated in a style that transports you straight back to the old Alsatian era, much like the owners, who are approaching 80 and still serve authentic, homemade regional dishes. We enjoyed chatting with this friendly couple, and I'll cherish the memory of this place and recommend it without hesitation, despite what you might initially think.
