27/01/2026: We received a very warm welcome, the decor was quite nice, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Kidneys for one of us and veal Zurich-style for me; it was both very good and very generous.

07/12/2025: We enjoyed the meal. We were disappointed by the servers' attire. Apart from one young waitress dressed in black trousers and a white blouse, the other waitress in jeans and sneakers seemed out of place in a semi-gastronomic restaurant. There were a few minor issues with the waiter. We asked for bread twice and waited 20 minutes for the mustard. We were brought two large espressos. The food itself was excellent.

26/04/2026: We arrived without a reservation and were very warmly welcomed and had a delicious meal. The waitresses were very pleasant. We will gladly return.

24/03/2026: Meh... really nothing special! Basic food, so the value for money is terrible. Even the coffee wasn't good! The atmosphere was cold. The waitress was friendly, which improved things a little. Keep walking... there are other restaurants in Alsace that deserve your trust...

12/04/2026: Anyone wanting to step back in time to the Middle Ages will find this place perfect. The house, dating from 1569, has been nicely modernized inside. The steep staircase to the second floor is a bit of an adventure. The TV with four German channels is unusual in France. Overall, it's a charming and quaint place to stay. Finding a parking spot was a bit of a hassle. Breakfast is simple but satisfactory. We'll definitely be back.

06/04/2026: Incredible! Charming, romantic, and well-located accommodation, and of course, excellent service. They also have a restaurant with a wood-fired oven and make spectacular tarte flambées. The breakfast with local products was a highlight. The croissants with jam were amazing, as were the cheeses, butter, and charcuterie in general. We will definitely be back! 21/12/2025: We discovered this restaurant during our stay for the Christmas markets. It's an unusual restaurant with its small dining room seating 17, decorated in a style that transports you straight back to the old Alsatian era, much like the owners, who are approaching 80 and still serve authentic, homemade regional dishes. We enjoyed chatting with this friendly couple, and I'll cherish the memory of this place and recommend it without hesitation, despite what you might initially think.

18/04/2026: First experience on Thursday: all-you-can-eat Italian buffet, not too expensive. Nice starters, lots of pizza choices, pasta, lasagna, and good desserts. For the price, we really enjoyed ourselves. Very friendly staff.

04/05/2026: Excellent meal, a friend introduced us to it, frankly we don't regret it, the food was super and amazing.

03/05/2026: We came for a group lunch with a menu decided two months in advance. Five of us were served undercooked chicken (!!!!!). The plates were taken away, barely reheated, and then mixed up among the diners…!! And there wasn't a single gesture of goodwill or apology. "The meat was cooked at a low temperature," we were told. Five hours there for a bland and disorganized group lunch… Avoid this place. The first time we came in November, the waiter broke the cork in the wine bottle and dared to serve me with it… but we let it go. Not this time.

06/04/2026: The food was okay, but the owner was extremely unfriendly! It's not a place you'd want to linger. If it's a problem when some people in a group don't want to eat, you should reconsider running a restaurant. Definitely not recommended!

25/03/2026: Luckily, our French friends had made a reservation, and we were the first ones at the restaurant on Sunday; it filled up quite quickly. We received our food promptly, it was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. We'd gladly come again.

01/04/2026: Where everything was supposed to be beauty, luxury, calm, and pleasure, we instead found a very large room, perhaps a little too large, rather cold despite being very bilingual and flashy. As for the food, we opted for the grand 10-course tasting menu. Of course, it was very good, but still, for a 2-Michelin-starred restaurant with 4 toques, the dishes lacked intensity, that "wow" factor, if you will. We weren't transported on a culinary journey; in fact, we didn't really find any connection, any chef's signature style, throughout the succession of dishes. Perhaps the menu and the wine list are running out of steam, still very much focused on winter. The service was professional but overwhelmed. So, we left not exactly dissatisfied, but not fulfilled either. It wasn't a moment of grace; the magic didn't work this time. The price-quality ratio was too high.
