19/09/2026: I ate outside on the patio in the sunshine. The flammekueche was very good and very rich with cheese. The home-made mirabelle tart with ice-cream was delicious. Several local people came to eat their Sunday lunch here.

18/09/2026: Having spent four days in Kaysersberg and tried several restaurants, this one is a favorite. The dishes are generous and delicious. The setting is typically Alsatian, and the riverside terrace is a real treat. Despite a small staff, the service is perfectly organized with no excessive wait times—well done! A great place to eat in Kaysersberg.

14/09/2026: Good location, delicious food, okay price, only the service could be improved. The owner speaks French, German, and English. We've been to Kaysersberg many times, and today we stumbled upon "le Kaysersberg." We'll be back.

16/09/2026: Tucked away just off one of Colmar’s busy squares, La Cour des Anges feels like a little discovery. We sat outside on a beautiful evening, surrounded by the charm of old Colmar — everywhere you looked seemed to offer another lovely little vignette. The food was excellent, and I particularly appreciated having good vegan options. Others at our table thoroughly enjoyed their burgers, and everything felt fresh and well prepared. Add some very good cocktails, a lovely red wine and warm service, and we were quite happy to linger. And then there’s the dog. Very sweet, very well behaved, and clearly trained to keep his distance from the tables. If you want to say hello — and you probably will — step away from your table and go to him. The gentleman running things brought a wonderfully positive energy to the evening, as did the whole team. Charming setting, good food and a lovely atmosphere. A very enjoyable Colmar evening.

04/09/2026: Absolutely recommend this restaurant. Literally just off the beaten path and mêlée of the centre of Colmar. This is a beautiful restaurant with a good mixed choice of vegetarian and meat dishes. Service was amazing and very reasonably priced. Worth a visit

13/08/2026: The inn is a bit dated, but it's definitely worth stopping for lunch. The generous portions were perfect for our midday break during a hike.

02/05/2026: The highlight is the restaurant. They set the bar so high that we didn't enjoy any other restaurant for the rest of our stay in Alsace. The hotel itself is simple, but clean and nicely decorated with artwork. The service is impeccable—pleasant, helpful, and warm. It's a real treat and almost a rarity these days to find this level of quality in tourist areas.

20/04/2026: No swimming pool. The rooms are a bit bland. Nevertheless, we had a good night's sleep. The restaurant isn't anything special; I found it very basic and average considering the price. The positive point is the large parking lot. So my opinion is rather mixed. I think it's a bit expensive for what's offered, but it wasn't unpleasant.

17/09/2026: A very bad experience, both with the Smartbox management and the meal itself. We had a Smartbox worth €90, which clearly stated on the website that we could choose a starter, a main course, and a dessert from the menu, as well as a glass of wine. Once there, none of that was available: a limited selection was presented on a small chalkboard, clearly featuring the cheapest options, and we had to ask for the glass of wine. The Smartbox reservation was also very complicated: several online rejections before we finally had to call the restaurant directly. As for the meal, it was a huge disappointment: the snails were barely lukewarm, the spätzle were swimming in oil, the vegetables were tasteless and clearly frozen, and the sauces were very thick and uninteresting. In the end, a €90 Smartbox, extra aperitifs, and a meal that absolutely did not justify the price paid. For over €100, one clearly expects something else. If managing Smartbox vouchers isn't suitable for the restaurant, the simplest solution would be not to offer them. Participating in this type of offer simply means complying with its terms and conditions.

09/09/2026: Good evening, I wanted to address what happened this evening because I sincerely found your manner of service very disappointing. I had reserved a table for 7 people at 8:00/8:15 PM. At 8:15 PM, two of us were already there, and I explained that the others would simply be about fifteen minutes late and would arrive no later than 8:30 PM. It wasn't a matter of an hour's delay or no-shows. I can perfectly understand the constraints of running a restaurant, the staff shortages, and the desire to avoid imposing endless hours on your employees. The people we were expecting work as nurses and probably know better than most what difficult hours and long days are like. However, what I cannot accept is the way things were communicated to us. At 8:21 PM, to hear "Where are they?" “I told you 8:15 p.m. at the latest,” then to hear you and your husband in the kitchen saying that it was “out of the question to mistreat your staff,” for a 15-minute delay, when we were already there, I find that frankly disproportionate and, above all, very unprofessional. What’s even more regrettable is that we aren’t just passing customers. We’ve been regulars, notably for our Christmas dinner for about ten people, where, unless I’m mistaken, we left a very hefty bill. And unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve noticed your change in attitude: one day extremely friendly, the next particularly cold and unfriendly. Until now, we had always come back despite this. Tonight was the last straw. You say you’re having difficulty finding staff. I sincerely believe that the way people speak to each other, whether employees or customers, plays a huge role in the success of an establishment. You wanted to avoid an extra 15 minutes this evening, and I understand that. However, the way you went about it has cost you several regular customers. It's a shame, because we enjoyed your restaurant. But respect and hospitality are just as important to us as the food itself. Best of luck.

27/09/2026: The setting was perfect, and as the sun was shining, we were able to eat on the terrace overlooking the canal. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the service, and the excellent meal. And what's more, the chef came to each table at the end of the meal to greet everyone. We were a table of six and had a lovely time in this charming restaurant. We'll definitely be back.

03/10/2026: They didn't want to serve us because they thought we ordered too little, because you can see it's a "restaurant" and it's impossible to order so little🤣 Although we ordered snails for the kids from the children's menu and everyone had a dessert and a drink. I've been traveling around Europe for the first time and I've seen such absurdity!

05/10/2026: Hello, we came as a group of seven on Saturday evening, October 3rd. Firstly, the steak was small and there were very few fries. Secondly, the bill was exorbitant; they added €20 to the total. When we recalculated, we called, and they didn't answer and just hung up. It's a disgrace. I was already disappointed once, but I wanted to try again, and I'm completely disappointed with this restaurant. I won't be going back. For future customers, recalculate your bill. As for me, the bill will be exorbitant; I give it 0/20.

03/10/2026: A perfect family outing with friendly staff and excellent food! Important point: the restrooms were very clean, but the baby feeding gate (although sturdy) creaked a lot, which worried me a bit at first.
