09/11/2024: Hello, we have just had lunch. A glass of white wine from Alsace and a delicious hearty stew with a nice bone marrow. Fast and friendly service. We were no longer hungry but our neighbors enjoyed a homemade iced kouglof. Enjoy your food !

16/06/2024: This experience was so bad, if I could give a minus score I would. We booked based on the TA reviews and were the first to arrive at 7pm. By 9pm we’d only had two of the four courses and we’d had the dirty plates from course 2 sat in front of us for over 30 minutes with the waiter repeatedly walking past and ignoring us. We ordered wine that we had to ask for again, after waiting 25 minutes. It’s not as though the waiter couldn’t see us, it’s a tiny restaurant. People around us also sat with dirty plates for ages apart from the waiter’s two favourite tables who he couldn’t do enough for! The food was tasteless and style over substance. After waiting 2 hours, with no prospect of our plates being cleared, we left money on the table for our wine plus half the meal, which we’d had and walked out. Something I’ve never done. Avoid like the plague!

05/09/2024: Prise de rdv pour 2 personnes pour le déjeuner. On nous demande de ne pas arriver après 12h30, cela peut se comprendre par rapport à l’organisation des services et du personnel. Finalement des clients sont arrivés jusqu’à notre départ. On commande une choucroute et un plat du jour. Service rapide mais en ce qui concerne la choucroute une vraie catastrophe. Et comme disait louis de Funès dans la grande vadrouille « c’est pas mauvais, c’est très mauvais ». Saucisse dure, patates cuites à l’eau et certainement réchauffées, chou amer … viande très grasse et de pas bonne qualité. Pour le dessert le kouglof glacé quelconque accompagné d’une chantilly à la bombe. Donc expérience à ne pas reproduire il y a bcp mieux ailleurs et pour moins cher.

27/08/2024: Outside the ramparts, so a LOT quieter. The menu is not massive, but the food is tasty and hearty, the staff friendly and helpful. We were a party of 5 and were very happy with our lunch out.

19/07/2024: Lovely cocktails. Cool concept and lots of options to choose from. 5/5. It's definitely worth a visit.
