10/02/2026: A truly disappointing experience… Even though the food was good, the welcome and service were catastrophic (and I mean it). We understand that the Christmas market period means endless, grueling days for the staff, but there are limits. Upon arrival, we waited for nearly 10 minutes in a cramped space without any of the numerous people passing by bothering to greet us or provide any information—even though we had a reservation. Once seated, taking our order was just as chaotic: the waitress seemed to be discovering the cocktail and drinks menu for the first time. And when we didn't respond within a minute, she decided on her own that we didn't want to order anything and moved directly to the next customer… Truly amateurish management.

05/01/2026: Excellent lunch at this well-known Riquewihr restaurant! Impeccable, friendly, and quick service; excellent cuisine, everything was delicious, and there's a good selection of wines. Prices are on the higher end of average, so be aware that the menu adds up quickly... We highly recommend it.

01/02/2026: We had a reservation for 5 people today at noon. We drove 100 km and when we arrived at the restaurant, we saw a sign saying it was closed due to a technical problem. No one warned us, not even a phone call, so we were left standing in front of the restaurant with no solution and told to fend for ourselves. This is truly unprofessional and shows a complete lack of respect. We will not be returning.

11/03/2026: We were here for lunch on a Monday. Very friendly staff, fast and competent service, and a very good three-course meal of high quality for €45.

01/03/2026: Our new favorite restaurant, an incredible experience from the food to the service. Beautifully presented dishes, and the taste was equally impressive. Surprising and delightful flavors. Truly excellent service; you don't have to ask for anything, and the servers are always smiling. I really don't understand the bad reviews; go without hesitation.

15/12/2025: Passing through the region, we booked a table at this restaurant. Warm welcome Lovely decor, chalet atmosphere We had sauerkraut and fleischnackas as our main courses, delicious For dessert, an excellent and generously portioned Colonel sorbet, and I had a homemade chocolate Liégeois with homemade hot chocolate poured into the glass—incredible! Very good All this accompanied by a good bottle of Burgundy (Coteaux Bourguignon), an excellent wine! Of course, we'll be back!!!! Thank you!

23/02/2026: Very disappointed. The menu is extremely limited. We ordered three times because we were always told we were out of stock. Frankly, apart from the setting (and we pay for it), there's nothing special about it. Avoid it.

22/02/2026: We came for a snack in what we imagined would be a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately, the welcome fell far short of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff's attitude was cold, almost distant, giving the impression that our presence was more of a nuisance than a welcome. While we weren't expecting a particularly warm welcome, we at least hoped for a little courtesy and consideration. However, the interaction was abrupt, bordering on rudeness, which created an awkward feeling from the start. Under these circumstances, it becomes difficult to fully enjoy what should have been a pleasant and shared experience. This is all the more regrettable because the atmosphere of a place also depends heavily on the quality of the welcome. A simple gesture, a smile, or a few kind words would have been enough to completely change our experience. As it stood, we left with a disappointing impression, far removed from what we had come for.

11/11/2025: I was attracted by the display with all the biscuits that seemed really good. Also I wanted to try the traditional bredeles which seems to be a speciality in the region. The staff was a bit unbothered and was not very professional. While we ordered, the Lady behind the counter stopped listening and started talking to her colleagues and then asked us to repeat again. She proceeded to do the same thing when we were paying. Other than that, the biscuits were good though nothing really special. It's a bit expensive for the quality and service in my opinion.

09/02/2026: The savory crepe is excellent! Estelle is fantastic despite the laziness of some of the younger staff; she manages the service for two. She deserves a big bonus.

27/10/2025: Good service if you pay the price, or you might offend the owner. Expect more greens as a side dish than starchy foods. Too bad, you'll leave feeling hungry.

25/12/2025: We came on December 25, 2025, a party of 10. We were seated in a lovely upstairs dining room. The waiter was very pleasant and professional, taking excellent care of the tables to ensure everyone had everything they needed. For starters, we had the French onion soup – delicious! For our main courses: sauerkraut, salmon tarte flambée, and an Alsatian burger – all perfectly capturing the flavors of Alsace. If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate – the staff is fantastic and incredibly friendly.

25/01/2026: This place is filthy and dishonest. I wanted to compare two different Pinot Gris for an aperitif, so I ordered a glass each of the 2016 (9.2€ per glass) and the 2018 (4.2€ per glass). When the glasses arrived, my mother took a sip of the 2016. I was about to take a sip, but I noticed a fly in it. I asked for a new one, but she said, "It's still alive, so it's fine. It's just swimming around," and tried to scoop it up with a spoon and return it. I protested, and they finally replaced it. My mother tried the new one and said it tasted different, so I tried it myself, and it was clearly the same as the cheaper 2018. However, even after I complained, they insisted it was the 2016, so I couldn't protest any further. Perhaps they knew I was a tourist and wouldn't be a repeat customer, but I ended up paying more than double the price for a regular Pinot Gris, which ruined the meal. I regret not leaving the moment they tried to give me the fly-infested wine.

04/01/2026: An impeccable gastronomic experience in the heart of Colmar. Excellent food, a perfectly elegant setting, and amazing service. The staff are the heart of the place: friendly, clear in their explanations, and masterful in pairings. A quality French dinner that I will fondly remember. A well-deserved five stars.

15/02/2026: I have to say we arrived without a reservation and the two very nice girls gave us a table. The food and service were excellent; I was personally very happy and highly recommend this place.

07/12/2025: The staff wasn't friendly. The pastries were nothing special, and we had to go upstairs because there was no more room downstairs. The cleanliness was really lacking. Upstairs, there was a member of staff doing paperwork at their desk, and the cook was listening to music.
