16/08/2024: We were there with colleagues to celebrate my birthday, everything was perfect and their waffles are to die for 😋

11/08/2024: We were warmly welcomed. The salad as a starter was delicious. Unfortunately we had a bit of bad luck with the main courses, the steak was stringy and a bit tough, the duck was too salty. We had to wait quite a long time until our plates were cleared and we could pay. As a gesture of goodwill, we got the drinks on the house.

20/09/2024: Der Anlass des Essens. Wir übernachteten in dem Hotel und hatten von Deutschland aus über The Fork im Restaurant einen ruhigen Tisch um 19:00 bestellt. Es war der Geburtstag meiner Frau, was auch in der Reservierung stand. Als wir ins Restaurant kamen und sagten wir hätten reserviert, wurden wir von der Chefin zuerst mal angebafft: Wir würden hier übernachten und hätten über Booking.com und über The Fork einen Tisch gebucht und Sie als Inhaberin müßte jetzt für beides bezahlen. Hierzu meinen wir: Wenn man das als Unternehmer NICHT will darf man auf solchen Portalen nicht für sich werben. Gäste dafür anschnautzen ist eine Frechheit! Hätten wir eine Alternative gehabt wären wir sofort gegangen. Montag und Dienstag ist es in Ribeauvillé leider nicht einfach einen Platz abends im Lokal zu bekommen. Nun ja: Einen ruhigen Platz bekamen wir nicht und eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit oder einen besonders schön gedeckten Tisch, wie wir das von anderen Restaurants kennen, gab es nicht. Stattdessen wurden wir zu Anfang von der Bedienung geschnitten. Die Speisekarte bestand aus großen Tafeln, die es in drei Sprachen gab. Das haben wir aber erst später mitbekommen. Uns wurde sie nur auf französich oder englisch angeboten. Schade das es keine schöne Speisekarte gab, die man in Ruhe hätte lesen können. Dann hätte ich gesehen, das die Käseplatt mit 3 Stückchen nicht im Menue war, sondern extra mit 12,00€ berechnet wurde!! Kein Obst, kein Gelee oder Zwiebelconfit dabei. Das kennen wir in Frankreich so nicht. Zum Essen: 2x Cremant zum Aperitif- mittlere Qualität, Als Vorspeise : Lachs- richtig gut und Gänseleber mit Granny Smith Gelee- gut aber eine sehr kleine Portion und das süße Brioche passt meiner Meinung nach gar nicht dazu- ist allerdings Geschmackssache... Als Hauptgang hatten wir 1 x Fisch mit Ricottaravioli- eine ungewöhnliche Kombination und 1 x Pfeffersteak mit kleinen Kartoffen-sehr gut und Medium auf den Punkt! Der Pinot Noir von Adam Amerschwier passte auch richtig gut. Fazit: Gutes Essen aber sehr unfreundliche Bedienung-Wir kommen da nicht mehr hin!

10/12/2024: Fast and efficient service during the Christmas market period! We were accepted with a stroller without reservation in the middle of the lunch rush. The cooked dishes are good and the staff are pleasant and smiling! Restaurant equipped for changing babies 👍

04/09/2024: The terrace is the best thing about the restaurant. Unfortunately, the schnitzel and its breading were unseasoned and tasteless. The quiche, on the other hand, was really tasty, but at €16 we expected more than two forkfuls of salad as a side dish.

24/09/2024: Too bad the owner is not professional because there are a lot of hotel failures. Disappointed by the poor reception = first and last time because there is no shortage of competition to satisfy its customers!

12/09/2024: The booked stay went well: the location, the spa, the room and the meal. However, it was not won because the manager was visibly moody, she had hung up on my 80 year old mother when she tried to book (twice because it was not the right time) . So not professional. However, it is the customers who make a tourist place come alive. It's a shame when we offer zen... so this will be a first and last time. There is competition in the region.

14/11/2024: la friture est bonne mais que dire du service très pénible, les serveurs et serveuse ne sont pas agréables, il faut sans cesse réclamer quelque chose jusqu'à la mayonnaise et là.... le serveur met "la tête" dans le micro ramequin pour 4 (genre 2 cuillères à café) pour voir si nous avons bien tout fini, il faut aussi réclamer des frites de la salade....en ce qui concerne les desserts c'est bof
