08/03/2026: Absolutely revolting experience. (March 8, 2026; 3:30 PM) While I was in the restroom, a tattooed employee literally forced the door open to physically remove me. This is a blatant violation of privacy and a complete lack of professionalism. I have never seen an establishment treat its customers with such contempt and aggression. If you value your safety and dignity, avoid this place. Apparently, management allows its staff to act like lawless bouncers, even in the most private areas. A total disgrace to the neighborhood. ABSOLUTELY AVOID.

03/01/2026: The staff are pleasant, but the cocktails are mediocre. The cocktail menu is very extensive, but the basics are missing.

08/03/2026: Disappointed to have booked and arrive at the door. The restaurant was closed for renovations...and no one from the restaurant informed the customers.

16/01/2026: We were very disappointed by the Chinese hot pot; the bean sprout salad was disgusting. Furthermore, a hair was found in a dish without the slightest apology or gesture of goodwill. Finally, the price of the menu seemed exorbitant!

05/04/2026: One of our best meal in Alsace. The two BBQ options (beef and porc) are exceptional 👌. Excellent choice of wine 🍷. We could see that the restaurant could get very busy, but the service remains efficient, friendly and courteous. Strongly recommended.

10/02/2026: A truly disappointing experience… Even though the food was good, the welcome and service were catastrophic (and I mean it). We understand that the Christmas market period means endless, grueling days for the staff, but there are limits. Upon arrival, we waited for nearly 10 minutes in a cramped space without any of the numerous people passing by bothering to greet us or provide any information—even though we had a reservation. Once seated, taking our order was just as chaotic: the waitress seemed to be discovering the cocktail and drinks menu for the first time. And when we didn't respond within a minute, she decided on her own that we didn't want to order anything and moved directly to the next customer… Truly amateurish management.

23/03/2026: We booked for a Monday, but upon arrival, there was no sign of life, no welcome, and no lights in the hostel. Furthermore, the hostel was dirty and smelled bad… ⚠️ Avoid at all costs! ⚠️

05/05/2026: An exceptional human and culinary experience! The meal was simply excellent, but what will remain etched in my memory is the incredible welcome from the team. Everyone works with a smile and rare kindness. Unfortunately, I felt a little faint during the meal, and the team, along with a volunteer firefighter, took excellent care of me with immense kindness and responsiveness. You truly feel valued, far more than just a customer. A huge thank you to the entire team for your professionalism and your big hearts. I will return with immense pleasure (in better shape this time!) and I recommend this place without hesitation.

04/05/2026: We went there for lunch. A very warm welcome and excellent food. The view over the Kayserberg valley is magnificent. A suggested post-lunch stroll: the Faudé tower.

25/04/2026: A unique experience in this magnificent place, the service is top-notch, you are treated with respect and patience, and the food is delicious.

23/04/2026: They're trying to force-feed us, only wine isn't allowed, there shouldn't be any restrictions on service!!!

The menu is generous, the ingredients are fresh, and you can taste the passion in the kitchen. It's delicious, well-seasoned, and the value for money is unbeatable.

14/02/2026: Excellent meal, very professional service. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Some might find the bill a little high. In my opinion, the prices are justified given the quality of the dishes. We will gladly return next time. Best of luck!

26/11/2025: Honestly, not great. Two trout tarte flambées. Either they were both way overcooked, or just plain old but not good! And we pointed it out, so we might as well not say anything... Dessert was fine. But honestly, if tarte flambée is just going to be made with stale, crumbly bread, they shouldn't even be offered!

14/11/2025: Hello, I only have one thing to say… why was there sugar in the syrup when I ordered a violet syrup? Otherwise, it's not great here.

19/04/2026: The food was very good, but we waited over an hour and forty minutes for our meal; the service was far too slow. The waitress, a young blonde woman, was very unfriendly, never smiled, and took our orders very abruptly. The waitress with short, curly hair, on the other hand, was very friendly, pleasant, and smiling.

21/04/2026: Excellent restaurant, high-quality homemade cuisine; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal with the children. The waitress was very attentive, pleasant, smiling, and always had a kind word to make us smile. The view from the terrace is magnificent. I highly recommend this restaurant; we will certainly return on our next trip to Alsace.

20/04/2026: On the first evening, we only had tarte flambée and wine – that was fine. The service was very friendly, and they also spoke German. On the second evening, my boyfriend had meat, and it was terrible. Even in the middle of the piece, it was very difficult to cut. Pieces from the edges were impossible to chew. For €30, we expected more. I had the asparagus soup, which consisted only of fiber and was far too thick and lumpy. At €13 (!!!!) for a soup, that was unacceptable. We had to order another tarte flambée afterward because we were still hungry, and unfortunately, there wasn't another restaurant in town.

13/12/2024: Friendly for tourists The snails are not incredible, defrosted and therefore the sauce very watery, without fat. Very good garnished sauerkraut, for big eater the 6 meats is not too much.

10/12/2024: Good welcome. Friendly staff who know the compositions of the dishes. Excellent winemaker's salad. Hearty sauerkraut and refined dessert all on the local menu. Good value for money.

07/12/2025: The staff wasn't friendly. The pastries were nothing special, and we had to go upstairs because there was no more room downstairs. The cleanliness was really lacking. Upstairs, there was a member of staff doing paperwork at their desk, and the cook was listening to music.

14/04/2026: This restaurant is a disgrace! We booked a table for five people last night, and when we arrived around 7:45/8:00 PM, the kitchen was already closed and the cook had left. We drove for 40 minutes; you don't just leave customers with reservations standing in the door! This restaurant is a disgrace, and I strongly advise against going there. 😬😬 Especially since we were told when we made the reservation that the kitchen closes at 9:00 PM.
