04/01/2025: Excellent meat, hearty dish; however, a lot of noise, it’s cold and it’s not intimate. Very expensive dessert (almost €10) filthy apple pie. The friendliness of the waitresses is rather shaky.

24/12/2024: While passing through the region, we were lucky enough to be able to have lunch there despite it being well past midday. The plates are copious (thin chopped steaks but x 2, very thick cordon bleu) But disappointed because we had our backs to the busy aisle of the shopping center so we were cold, overcooked hamburger steaks, frozen matchstick fries, etc.) Not bad but not extraordinary either

25/12/2025: The hotel is great, it maintains its traditional charm and is very clean. The room was nice and warm, and the bathroom was very good. Breakfast is varied, but they don't have gluten-free options. Since it's not a tourist town, it's easy to stay put. The staff are very friendly.

14/12/2025: We came as a group to eat. The service was quick. The main course and dessert were very good and generous portions. I recommend it.

02/01/2026: Charming. The atmosphere is admittedly old-fashioned, but the welcome from the owner, his son, and grandson, as well as their extended family, is incredibly warm. The setting is fantastic and peaceful. And while some of the facilities are a bit dated, it's clear they're lovingly maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals in the restaurant and the breakfasts. My 3-year-old son received the same dishes as us at the children's menu price. The owner's grandson, along with the two lovely waitresses, went out of his way to look after him. Our dog was also pampered. If you have a dog, and it's good with other dogs (almost all the other guests did too), then it's a little slice of paradise. I'll definitely be back!

01/01/2026: The hotel has remained unchanged for a long time, so don't expect much in the way of cleanliness. Breakfast was good, and the owner is trying his best. It desperately needs a major renovation and refresh. It's a shame the building next door wasn't finished; we had booked a double room, but it was two single beds that couldn't be pushed together. The location is very quiet, surrounded by forest, perfect for walks. Be aware there's no cell service at all, only Wi-Fi (a phone is available at reception free of charge). 😉🙃 The pool and jacuzzi are very nice. 👍 In conclusion, I think this could be a superb resort with a major facelift.

04/10/2025: Very disappointed, small menu with a very limited choice, catastrophic service, dirty tablecloth, no one asks if everything is okay, 22 minutes with a stopwatch in hand to get 2 glasses of wine. Everything is very long..In short..that's a small part of the inconveniences of this meal. Pay and leave, last time for us..too bad that everything changes when it was perfect before....

12/03/2026: I ate at this restaurant about two weeks ago. I was served by two young women, one of whom I believe was an apprentice. They were both very smiley, polite, and genuinely pleasant. Their service was impeccable; you could tell they took their jobs seriously despite their young age. However, I was quite surprised by the owner's attitude. She came out of the kitchen at one point to stand behind the bar, and her behavior toward the two waitresses was rather inappropriate. She spoke to them curtly, in a rather harsh tone, in front of the other customers… it was really awkward to watch. She wasn't smiling at all and seemed to be in a rather strange state, as if she might have had a bit too much to drink. When it came time to pay, she was cold and not at all pleasant. It's a shame, because the two young waitresses really give a good impression of the restaurant, but the owner's welcome clearly leaves much to be desired.

17/11/2025: A wonderful discovery! A very warm and friendly welcome. We had a delicious meal; the cordon bleu and the escalope with chanterelles were both excellent. 👌 Everything was perfect, thank you! We will gladly return.

01/01/2026: Restaurant to avoid. Nice staff and setting, but the food is disastrous. The tarte flambée is sparsely filled and very bland. Some dishes, like the onion tart, are clearly reheated from the day before.

29/12/2025: A small restaurant with a very limited menu. By 1:00, they were already closing down new customers. We had two typical dishes, which were delicious and with decent portions. There's no internet access inside, and there's no Wi-Fi.

18/01/2026: We had already visited a year ago and were delighted. Since the change of ownership (about six months ago), the quality has declined: a very limited menu, excessive prices, and disappointing dishes. Despite speaking with the chef, no compensation was offered. It should also be noted that two of the four of us felt unwell after the meal, which significantly marred the experience. We will not be returning.

15/01/2026: A very nice place with very tasty food, a good solution for those who sleep at the nearby hotel or in town, there aren't many options.

27/11/2025: A small farm-inn offering a stopover for hikers to eat or drink. They also have rooms available for overnight stays. I had an omelet with apple juice, which was very good. If I remember correctly, I paid around €15, which is reasonable for an inn on the hiking trails. A nice bonus: they accept credit cards.

13/12/2024: When we came for a snack during the Christmas holidays, we were very surprised that by 4 p.m. there were no more pastries… A cold welcome. We had to quickly choose a drink with no card and no price indicated.... When it was time to pay, we waited 10 minutes in front of the counter, while the waitress or manageress made her account book in front of us.... What's more, we were overcharged while the previous customer, located next to our table, paid without being overcharged... the total was displayed on the cash register screen.... To be avoided! Strange way of receiving customers! For friendliness, this is not the place...
