27/04/2026: It was recommended to us by the hotel La Maison des Teres, where we stayed. It was a big disappointment. Very slow service, we waited 15 minutes for a menu, 15 to take our order. The food was mostly tasteless.

21/04/2026: It's a restaurant! A little old-fashioned, but with all the right credentials. Obviously, the Choucroute 8 Garnitures takes center stage, especially since Alsatian cuisine isn't exactly known for its sheer number of dishes. The white asparagus is excellent, and the ham (the very good cooked ham) is the perfect accompaniment. Equally obvious: the Alsatian wine, of course!

17/11/2025: A wonderful discovery! A very warm and friendly welcome. We had a delicious meal; the cordon bleu and the escalope with chanterelles were both excellent. 👌 Everything was perfect, thank you! We will gladly return.

12/04/2026: Dinner for three (table reserved by phone). A warm welcome and equally pleasant service. A typical Alsatian setting in a large dining room, just what we were looking for. The dishes were (for us!) very generous. A lovely, well-garnished sauerkraut and a very tender lamb shank. Delicious dishes, a real pleasure. A good selection of Alsatian wines by the glass, 50cl (carafe), or bottle. No disappointment whatsoever; we highly recommend this establishment.

16/04/2026: Very disappointed. The welcome wasn't very pleasant. The drinks were exorbitantly priced. The taste...so-so, but the bill was outrageous. A place I won't be returning to.

13/04/2026: We always enjoyed going to Yaki's, driving 45 minutes to eat their delicious couscous. Last night we went, and to our great surprise, the owners were no longer the same, and the service was mediocre. Behind the bar, the waitress was picking her teeth, while the other waitresses sat and laughed—very poor—while we waited to order. I've never seen a Coke for €5.10! The lamb couscous consisted of only one lamb skewer! There was no toilet paper or hand towels, and the mop was lying around in the restroom. In short, we won't be going back!

23/04/2026: The setting is very charming, with a simple and efficient organization! The food and drinks are served quickly. The service team is excellent and always in good spirits. Feeling a bit peckish, I ordered the ham and cheese crepe, which was delicious and flavorful. They also serve traditional Alsatian dishes, of course, which looked very appealing from what I saw on other tables. The cocktails on offer are also very varied and well-received! A very pleasant stop while visiting this beautiful village. I highly recommend it!

23/04/2026: We come to 119 regularly. The food is excellent, as is the service. The negative review left by two very unpleasant couples two days ago in no way reflects the pleasure of coming here to spend a very good time. We hope never to receive such people again.

In the kitchen and dining room, it was the quality, talent, originality, professionalism, personalized attention, and cheerful atmosphere that made this meal an exquisite and unforgettable experience. Bravo to the entire team at Le Tonneau from the 11 delighted guests.

04/01/2025: Excellent meat, hearty dish; however, a lot of noise, it’s cold and it’s not intimate. Very expensive dessert (almost €10) filthy apple pie. The friendliness of the waitresses is rather shaky.

24/12/2024: While passing through the region, we were lucky enough to be able to have lunch there despite it being well past midday. The plates are copious (thin chopped steaks but x 2, very thick cordon bleu) But disappointed because we had our backs to the busy aisle of the shopping center so we were cold, overcooked hamburger steaks, frozen matchstick fries, etc.) Not bad but not extraordinary either

Warm welcome Lovely decor, chalet atmosphere We had sauerkraut and fleischnackas as our main courses, delicious For dessert, an excellent and generously portioned Colonel sorbet, and I had a homemade chocolate Liégeois with homemade hot chocolate poured into the glass—incredible! Very good All this accompanied by a good bottle of Burgundy (Coteaux Bourguignon), an excellent wine! Of course, we'll be back!!!! Thank you!

06/04/2026: They ran out of croissants in the morning and didn't say anything, and we were waiting for our order.. They came after several signals and told us that they were out..
