02/11/2024: When I see other comments, I don't really understand...We ate there last night, nothing to say, good service, very good quality meal with good products, the price is correct. However, I am very critical when I eat at the restaurant, we will come back with great pleasure.

05/09/2024: Benefiting from a gift voucher for a gourmet spa. The exterior work is not finished. The swimming pool is enclosed by wooden planks, the restaurant by a tarpaulin where there is a terrace. There is no longer a jacuzzi either inside or outside. The number one asset was the magnificent view of the site. The reception staff are not very friendly and lack experience. No commercial gesture for unfinished work outside: the employee looks at you without saying anything.... The lunch meal was excellent: bravo to the chef!

09/09/2024: Für uns war der Besuch eine einzige Enttäuschung: Die Quiche kam im Kern eiskalt und am Rand gerade noch warm an. Nach der Bitte, sie aufzuwärmen, war sie immer noch nicht heiß. Schmeckte fad und war zudem ausgesprochen unansehnlich. Vermutlich hatte sie auch vorher schon manche zu kurze Runde in der Mikrowelle gedreht. Die Rösti waren ungesalzen, also auch ausgesprochen fade. Einen Salzstreuer mussten wir erbitten, der wurde dann kurzerhand vom Nachbartisch gemopst. Machte die Sache aber auch nicht viel besser. Fazit für uns: reiner Touristennepp.

21/08/2024: Suite à refus de nous servir dans un restaurant voisin, nous voici arrivés dans cet établissement. Une carte plutôt diversifiée pour les plats et très variées pour les boissons…un peu moins pour les desserts. Cependant, une écoute attentive et personnalisée par le personnel afin de répondre aux différentes demandes particulières (type vinaigrette sans sucre pour une personne diabétique). L’ensemble du repas a été correct et les mets proposés sont plutôt locaux. Nous vous conseillons l’île flottante qui est énorme et a un coût réduit, à savoir 5€… Une brasserie bien sympathique au cœur de Colmar, et un service au top. Nous recommandons cet établissement pour une halte déjeuner.

15/09/2024: Traditional Alsatian restaurant, home cooking. We booked late for 16 people. To facilitate organization, we placed our order in advance (the day before). Our entire order was taken care of and served on time. Children and starters at the same time. And the rest followed perfectly. Our waitress was very nice and attentive to our requests. She gave us good advice on the wine. We ate well and had a good time.

14/09/2024: Another one of these special discoveries in Alsace. Tugged away in the sleepy hidden village of Widensolen, about 45 minutes by car from Freiburg the “Auberge du Moulin” serves excellent alcasien home cooked food as well as specialties, which come close to One Star cooking. And this is no surprise! The former Head-Chef of the “Schwarzer Adler” in the Kaiserstuhl, Germany - Anibal Strubinger, who used to be awarded there with one Michelin Star for many, many years and this wife, Dominique Gutleben, a chef in her own right, now run the kitchen in this lovely and peaceful Gasthaus since 2022. And so their menu reads like a who-is-who of the Alsacien and French classics: Duck Foie Gras, Snails, Pate en Croute, Tarte Flambee with different toppings, Calf’s head, Veal Cordon Bleu, Veal Kidneys, Breaded Escalope, Vintage Beef steak, Ducks Breast to name a few. In addition, you may order in advance baeckaoffa, paella, Chicken in Salt with trouffles and Trouffles puff pastry and much more. The wine list is excellent, their two daughters run the superb service and above all, the prices are more than reasonable. Wow! Make sure you reserve your table!

13/12/2024: Lovely and clean hotel. The staff and management are very warm and provide very good advice to perfect your stay. We spent 3 fabulous days thanks to the wonderful welcome and Christmas markets.

20/10/2024: I thought it was abandoned. Tall grass, moss and leaves on the mini golf course, etc...

03/11/2024: Our family wedding meal simply but perfectly. It was joyful, good, welcoming, and friendly. The waitresses are really adorable and the food is very generous and very good. Well done and thank you 👌

14/12/2024: After an absence of 11 years, returned last night for a dinner. Everything was perfect from the welcome, service, quality and quantity of ingredients for a more than fair price. I will come back without a doubt

09/12/2024: Despite our arrival at the end of service, we found a table for 4 people and we enjoyed well-stocked plates.

22/07/2024: Bon service, cadre agréable mais pas satisfait du tout de la nourriture. On annonce un onglet avec poêlée de fois gras et quand l’assiette arrive, on est déçu de la quantité. Ça ne vaut franchement pas 23 eur!

15/07/2024: PLUS JAMAIS! Première fois, et un jeune serveur qui se permet le tutoiement, absolument pas à l'écoute du client, en penurie de sauce et d'accompagnement (à 12h20 sur un menu du jour). CONCLUSION: MANQUE DE RESPECT ENVERS LE CLIENT, AUCUN GESTE COMMERCIAL POUR PALIER À LA PÉNURIE DES PLATS PROPOSÉS. PHILIPPE ETCHEBEST AURAIT BEAUCOUP DE TRAVAIL POUR REMANIER TOUT ÇA CORRECTEMENT. ET LE JEUNE EFFRONTÉ QUI SERT, DOIT CHANGER DE MÉTIER!!!

13/09/2024: Cambio de propietario - inaceptable, descortés, servicio poco profesional! Cuando la falda de mi hija se rompió por los bordes ásperos de la mesa, el dueño culpó a mi hija. No mostró ningún respeto y no hizo ningún esfuerzo comercial. Incluso mintió sobre sus responsabilidades como gerente. Actitud incapaz y deshonesta.

13/09/2024: Restaurant à éviter ! A peine arrivée à table, ma jupe s'accroche à la table avec un résultat de plusieurs trous. Quand la serveuse m'envoie le patron, monsieur me fait non gentiment comprendre que ce n'est pas sa faute, ni son problème. Quand je demande une solution, j'ai droit à un "je ne suis pas le chef ici". Honteux de gérer un établissement d'une telle façon! To avoid at all cost! Only getting seated, my skirt gets caught on the table, resulting in several small holes in the skirt. The waitress sends me the manager, who tells me rudely that it isn't his fault and not his problem. When asked for a solution, I was told " I am not the manager here". Disgraceful and incapable!

04/01/2025: After choosing the suggestion of the day: sirloin steak, new potatoes and vegetables, our meat, ordered rare, was served medium rare and was not tender at all and the vegetables were rather sparse. The blueberry pie offered for dessert of the day must have been from yesterday or even the day before yesterday. Damage…

22/12/2024: I am extremely disappointed with this restaurant. The service was terrible, the wine was of poor quality (€30 formula for 3 glasses) and the food was not fresh. To top it all off, 15 people got sick the next day. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

12/09/2024: Très déçus de jour en jour par le service et la qualité des plats de ce restaurant. On décide à notre place du dessert prétextant que ce qui a été choisi n était plus disponible. Et ce des le 1er soir. Le lendemain,attente de 30 minutes pour nous servir 2 simples verres de crémant,dessert modifié alors que servi à une autre table et ce remplacé à chaque fois par 3 boucles de glace râpées dans un bol! Le 3 ème soir, nous avons terminé le plat principal vers 23h alors que nous étions à table dès 20 h. Nous avons bien sûr décliné le dessert si tant est qu on nous en aurait encore proposé un! Le personnel de salle s est confondu en excuses mais le problème doit se trouver ailleurs. Dommage je déconseille à cause de ce service plus que déplorable.

28/08/2024: Tres bon restaurant avec une formule du marché intéressante , dommage tartare avait pas mal de nerfs qui rendait le plat désagréable.
