11/06/2026: Very good restaurant, beautiful view. It's a shame the bread doesn't live up to the quality of the food. The white baguette was of very average quality. A bit disappointing when you order the cheese.

25/04/2026: My review has changed slightly since it doesn't directly concern the restaurant on Rue Valéry Meunier, but rather the fact that they came to La Forge Moderne last night. They offered several small dishes for €6, which were very varied and suitable for all dietary needs. These dishes were very good; I tried two: the ravioli and the tart. The service was quick; I think everything was already prepared or nearly so. My friend ordered the taloa and the chocolate cake, which also looked delicious. Furthermore, I found the restaurant owners to be very friendly. :) It would be great if you came back!

24/05/2026: I came for lunch to reward myself after a tough hike in the blazing sun, and I was able to recharge on the cool, shaded terrace. The setting is very pleasant with the sound of the water. The waitress and the chef took the time to chat and were welcoming. The menu is well-executed, featuring reliable favorites, beautifully presented. Everything was cooked to perfection. I was very pleasantly surprised by the roasted watermelon. It definitely makes me want to come back!

22/04/2026: This is a simple place, a no thrill restaurant to eat a galette or a crepe in Saint Jean Pied de Port. Prices are low but the food is tasty. It is located near the central church. Sometimes, a musician sits at the foot of the church's stairs and play some soothing music.

29/04/2026: My partner and I went there for the first time and it was perfect. The duck breast was amazing and cooked to perfection. The prawns were also delicious. Everything is homemade, the ingredients are local and high-quality, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I can't wait to go back!
