30/06/2026: I had heard many compliments about the Brasserie d'Orléans from colleagues. We had lunch there with other colleagues, and I must say that my impression has been mixed ever since. I ordered beef tartare with homemade fries. The tartare was very sinewy and served flattened across the entire plate, without any shape. In fact, I practically had to put half of it aside because of the sinew. It was very vinegary and spicy. The homemade fries were delicious, as was the homemade sauce. The Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce) was absolutely divine, and the coffee was also very high quality. The champagne was served in a tiny glass, which was a bit surprising at first. The waitress was very pleasant and efficient in serving us and relaying any issues (with the tartare) to the chef.

27/07/2026: Arriving a little late at 1:30 pm, a group of six on a Sunday without a reservation, we were welcomed with a selection of local charcuterie. Delicious! We had a very pleasant chat with the chef about Normandy Camembert, Neufchâtel, and Ossau-Iraty cheeses. The hospitality in the Basque Country is truly well-deserved. A real pleasure!

17/07/2026: Seated on the terrace at the only table with a view obstructed by translucent glass, we asked to move to an available table facing the sea. The manager coldly refused, saying there was already a reservation. Yet, the table remained empty throughout our entire meal (from 7:30 pm to 8:45 pm). When we pointed this out to him at the time of payment, he flew into a rage, snapping at us in an irritated tone: "What's with this tantrum, do you realize!" This inappropriate behavior and shocking lack of professionalism are unacceptable. We do not recommend this restaurant.

05/08/2026: The servers were incredibly friendly. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. I'm only taking off one star because the portions were so generous; we wanted more! I highly recommend it.

04/08/2026: New owners, new dishes, and new desserts too!!! The Basque salad was excellent! The andouillettes were generous and beautifully presented. And what can I say about the desserts??? Absolutely divine!!!! We are thrilled with this change.

02/08/2026: A very warm welcome, a menu perfectly suited to the setting, meats cooked exactly as requested, a delicious omelet with porcini mushrooms, and a smile to match. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and the well-planned wine route available year-round.

22/07/2026: We hesitated to enter this golfers' domain, which we assumed was reserved, especially as a family with a baby. Quite the opposite, we were greeted by charming and attentive waiters. The atmosphere was relaxed. The food was good, reasonably priced, and offered a varied selection. The setting is also very pleasant. We will definitely return.

15/08/2026: We dined on the terrace one evening during the Ascain festival. It was busy, but we didn't have to wait; the service was quick, efficient, and friendly. And the food? A delight of flavors, cooked to perfection. We ordered accras and a tartine, followed by a rib of beef with vegetables, duck breast, and fish dishes that were a true pleasure. Thank you all!
