11/06/2024: We are from the area, and only came to have a drink and get away a little from what we know about the coast, what can we say other than that we are absolutely delighted with our evening. The setting is not up for debate, and the adorable service from Kitty and the bartender adds a sixth star to the experience.

10/06/2024: Rooms, environment, services and staff very good
Perhaps to improve, I would clean the exterior windows of the lodges more frequently (visible dirt and cobwebs). I would add a small stereo in the room. Have a covered boat for rainy days and ensure that the pontxos are always dry if you have to reuse them.

21/09/2024: Very nice experience at the beginning of September, very good food and very pleasant staff.
29/08/2024: Day 23/08/24.
We made a reservation for 8 people and ate on the terrace. The space was a little tight.
If you take into account that France is not Spain, when we talk about good food, I have to say that the menu was correct.
The "plat du jour" (dish of the day) had a supplement if they were a little more consistent.
Despite these points, we had a good lunch.
To us, coming from the Basque Country, it seemed more expensive, but we expected it.
Correct everything.

28/11/2024: My best restaurant to date in Pau center 👌👏 This bistronomic wine bar is a gem 🤩 I highly recommend
Fresh and inventive cuisine, small but varied menu, friendly and welcoming team, and obviously a large choice of good wines.
The only downside is the slowness of the service. The chef seemed overwhelmed by his success that evening 😏

La cheffe est passée à chaque table.
C'est un privilège de discuter avec Andrée Rosier 1ère femme en France MOF.
Chaque étape du repas est sans faille.
Vivement dans 2 mois pour découvrir la nouvelle carte....
Entouré d'un service très agréable et impequable.

31/10/2024: Très belle surprise ! Après une semaine de vacances nous avons passé notre dernière soirée dans ce magnifique établissement où tout était parfait. Les conseils, le service et surtout les plats nous ont plus que ravis. A ne surtout pas manquer !
22/10/2024: Nous avons passé un séjour de très bonne qualité. Chambre spacieuse et superbe vue côté montagne 2eme étage. Petit déjeuner varié et dîner au restaurant de très bonne qualité

06/09/2024: The comments were laudatory but unfortunately. The first dish is brought to us at the same time as the aperitif, too bad, and then after 1 hour of waiting the dish served is almost cold, we send it back to the kitchen 3 times, no better. To end it all, my friend didn't get what she ordered. In short, nothing is going well.
We lost our patience and asked for the bill; the only commercial gesture was to offer us an aperitif.
The very embarrassed waiter does not understand what is happening in the kitchen.
Table that I absolutely do not recommend.
We came for dinner on Wednesday September 4 in the evening.
05/09/2024: Very small room, the bed was comfortable. The restaurant is very noisy, a lot of people, the food is good, but the service a little slow. The staff is pleasant.

13/12/2024: Moment shared with my 16 year old daughter. We arrived at 12:30 p.m., we had the impression of taking the cook and the waitress off the table… (sorry) service a little cold at first but everything was sorted in the middle of meal. Beautiful presentation of the products on the plate. The hake is excellent and the venison stew is killer...very good cuisine..on the wallet side a little high just for a dish, a glass of wine and a glass of Armagnac
24/11/2024: We had a very pleasant evening. Our dishes were tasty and refined. A family atmosphere reigns within this inn for our greatest pleasure. Please note that everything is homemade, even the bread! 🥖

23/09/2024: A service that was much too fast with what was intended to be simplicity, whereas a little more careful service wouldn't do any harm.
We came a few years ago with very good memories of the cuisine, here we realized that it was no longer what it used to be and we therefore left quite disappointed overall.
The sweetbreads are not well cooked, the risotto has too much sauce…
Small positive point for the beef fillet which was very tasty and successfully cooked.
20/09/2024: Top notch hospitality, cuisine and service. The prices are in line with the quality offered. A wider choice of wines by the glass would be welcome.

18/09/2024: Pas pu manger manger ! Trop de monde ! Accueil désagréable ! Mon mari demande si on peut avoir une table et la serveuse lui répond vs faites comme tout le monde vs faites la queue ! Mais ou va t on ! La réponse cool pour les touristes, alors fermer fin août si vs en avez marre des touristes qui vs font vivre
18/09/2024: Un bon repas basque ! Piperade, pieds de cochon, quasi de veau que nous avons trouvé plus dur que cela avait été annoncé, un bon Lalande-de-pomerol.
Déjeuner au jardin . Service agréable mais l'accueil a été détestable tout comme notre passage en caisse. Nous avions réservé, étions ponctuels, nous n'avions pas d'exigences particulières et même si les salles étaient pleines, un petit sourire nous aurait paru normal...

29/11/2024: Superb place with an incredible view of the interior Basque country, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable... possible walk on the heights from the domain and towards the Pic d'Iparla.
Very welcoming and attentive staff.
It's a shame that the establishment's commercial policy is not up to the standard of a five-star hotel...

Everything is perfect, the setting, the facilities, the contact of the staff, the restaurant of a very good standard....
Special mention for the electric golf carts which add a little spice and originality.

La patronne fait tout pour ses clients. Elle est vraiment agréable. Cependant
Le rapport qualité prix est élevé.
Compter 55 euro en moyenne par personne vin compris.
A découvrir si vous êtes de passage .

Déjeuner en terrasse au soleil avec vue sur le fort de Socoa… La pariada Royale était vraiment composée d’excellents produits frais, goûteux et juteux ! La cuisson parfaitement maîtrisée, le homard bleu, les gros gambas, grosses langoustines et le merlu étaient un vrai bonheur pour nos papilles ! Et les desserts divins ! Le gâteau Basque à la pistache et le baba au rhum étaient succulents ! Le frais, le fait maison, les produits nobles , de qualité et d’une extrême fraîcheur ! Nous avons hâte de revenir pour goûter la poulpe !! Sans oublier L’adorable serveuse ! Merci à toute l’équipe pour ce merveilleux moment. À très vite..
