14/09/2026: I gave this review 4 years ago and have returned a number of times since then. The food is still exquisite, the service is exceptional and for anyone interested in wine you will be looked after. This is a must visit in Sète. They also have a restaurant in Sète's wonderful market. Great experience! The service was stand out, particularly given we speak little French. The menu has a number of interesting options (not your standard type) and we enjoyed the food. The absolute highlight was the tarte which we understand is an old family recipe. It was divine!

25/07/2026: Seafood fondue is very trendy, but unfortunately, this one was overcooked. The shellfish was completely dry, there was no sauce left in the dish, and the portion was ridiculously small. Advertised as serving 1-2 people, you get a measly little piece of corn and two pieces of potato. I was really looking forward to it, but it was a total disappointment, especially considering the exorbitant price.

22/06/2026: Small, simple restaurant, everything very fresh and delicious, directly from the producer, also selling fresh produce, fair prices, we were greeted warmly, debit card accepted. We will definitely come back. Update: Unfortunately, it seems to be permanently closed, what a shame. We were there in June (the roof had partially collapsed) ☹️

07/09/2026: The service was impeccable despite the restaurant being full; we barely heard a thing, everything flowed smoothly. The servers were very friendly. We love coming to this restaurant, which, in addition to the quality of the food and service, offers a breathtaking view of the Loire River. We highly recommend it!

23/08/2026: On August 5th, I went to this fish shop, which was supposed to open at 9:00 AM. When we arrived, they were running late because the delivery truck hadn't arrived yet. A man explained that we had to wait a little while for the truck to arrive so they could set up the fish and seafood. So we waited patiently. Then a woman came up to us and asked, in a particularly aggressive tone, "What do you want?" We explained that we wanted to buy seafood, but that we were waiting until everything was set up so we could make our selection at our leisure. She replied, "Well, it's all here, isn't it!" Surprised by her attitude, we started looking at the few seafood items that were available. A few moments later, she said, "Well, I'll serve the people who know what they want," before leaving. I find this attitude simply shameful and completely unprofessional. We waited patiently, even though the opening was already delayed, without making a single complaint. We simply asked to be able to look at the products and make our selection. A minimum of respect and courtesy towards customers would have been the least they could do. I am extremely disappointed with this experience and I certainly do not intend to return to this establishment.

08/09/2026: The setting was very pleasant, and we received a warm welcome, but we were disappointed by the seafood buffet as we expected more variety. The advertised items were indeed present, but we expected to find some raw and cooked, and others, like the mussels, prepared in different ways. Consequently, the price of the set menu seemed a bit high. However, there's no doubt the rest of the menu must be good, as what we tasted from the buffet was well-prepared.

05/09/2026: We were on vacation and looking for a good restaurant to end our stay. We had booked for seven people and received a warm welcome from the restaurant staff. We ate in a covered section of the restaurant with a magnificent view of the water and the fishermen's houses—a truly unique setting for dinner. We all enjoyed a delicious meal; the food was fresh and high-quality. Add to that impeccable service, and our end-of-vacation evening was wonderful. A huge thank you to Philippe for his refreshing smile, his unfailing good humor, and for the lively atmosphere he created during our dinner that evening. We will definitely be back! PS: The boys are still trying to catch up with you on Clash Royale. 😂

28/02/2026: I was supposed to be celebrating something that day. I went there with my friend at noon. The staff didn't speak a word of French... None of what we wanted was on the menu. No salmon, no langoustines, no fish at all. Beforehand, I had checked my own menu: the prices didn't match what was displayed in the restaurant. For example, they ordered four gratinated oysters, but there they only served three. We had to ask for one more. The mussels were frozen and barely edible. They were also so small we wondered where we'd get them. Again, the waiter lied, saying before we ordered that they would be enormous! My friend ordered a scallop carpaccio. There was one scallop, so small I thought it was just a garnish. To make up for it, they offered me a glass of wine (but not my friend). However, the bill was ENORMOUS. Over €165... And to think I'd been before and the first visit was great.

08/06/2026: I visited Le Patio twice on a short visit to Cassis. Filet of Saint Pierre and Clam Linguine we're both excellent, beautifully presented and delicious. Highly recommended.
