11/11/2025: It's impossible to make a reservation at this restaurant. When you call, you get a recorded message giving the opening hours and asking you to book online, but you can't get through to anyone on the phone. And on the website, it's impossible to book. You can't even select the Ecully location. How are you supposed to reserve a table for 12 people?!

28/10/2025: I ate with a friend today, and the waitress was grumpy. What's more, there were two peas in the measure. The table next to us had some older people, and while she spoke calmly, she was condescending and rude to us from the beginning of the service. We wanted the all-you-can-eat mussels menu, and at the end of the second seating, she cleared everything away and told us in a very rude voice that there wasn't any left. And I paid for the all-you-can-eat menu, and it's not the first time I've been there, and it's the first time an employee has spoken so rudely.

25/08/2024: We went there one evening. Good welcome. It is best to reserve. Very successful decor. I had a gourmet octopus salad. Very good. The rosé and fruit sangria is delicious. Good address.

02/10/2024: We arrived at the end of the service and yet we were very well received. A “home-like” atmosphere, updated dishes like endive gratin. Such smiling staff. Thanks to the team.

29/09/2024: Arriving without reservation, there were 7 of us this Sunday, September 29, 2024, a very warm welcome which makes you want to stay, simple but super well prepared cuisine, well-presented and copious plates, very pleasant staff. I recommend

06/12/2025: The little one had tiny pieces of garlic in his vanilla ice cream...🤢 The waiter replied, "Oh yes! Okay..." Probably leftover dishwashing residue... yum! 🤮 Of course, no gesture of goodwill or apology! Very professional, gentlemen, well done! 👏

29/06/2025: A place as unique as it is delicious! Le Menje Ecaille is a must-visit at Racou: everything here is made with love. The dishes are as original as they are delicious, and each visit is a true culinary experience. The owner, his two children, and the team are always adorable, welcoming, and attentive. We feel like we're staying with friends... and that's why it's a joy to return whenever we're at Racou! 😉 Bravo and thank you for these wonderful moments 👏🍷🍛

04/09/2024: We came here based on the many positive reviews, knowing well that we would wait. The staff were very kind and made suggestions for us while we waited for a table (we ended up at the nearby affiliate wine bar). Our server was kind enough to bring us from the wine bar to the restaurant once our table was ready. Sadly, the experience leading up to being seated was the best part of the evening. We ordered the smoked tuna belly, seafood platter, shrimp dish (like an aguachile) and a new bean dish the server recommended. The bean dish and smoked tuna were not particularly tasty. The texture and flavours were not great. The seafood platter had at least 3 faulty clams (to the point we spit them out) and the crab was so overcooked we weren’t really able to easily extract meat. We still laughed about it (I’m sure we provided some entertainment as we battled to crack the legs). The oysters, however, were delicious - zero complaints there. We were sad that the experience was underwhelming especially after so many great reviews. We were comp’ed the bean dish after sharing our views with the staff but still paid about €130. Not sure I’d come again and while I appreciate we all have off days, this was sadly one of the worst meals I’ve had in some time.

14/12/2024: We love the Leon restaurant chain. Whenever we get the chance, we always stop by for mussels. The Roquefort and curry mussels served here by Ms. Tanya were very successful. Also, the small pan-fried fish we ordered before the main course was also delicious. Congratulations.

13/12/2024: Overall satisfied, I took the mussels with cream, at first it was very bland but then you could no longer taste the cream. The service is fast and it’s quite decent/well located.

21/09/2024: We stopped by the restaurant for dinner following a recommendation from a relative and we did not regret the experience at Restaurant la Criée. We were welcomed and served by Saïda and it was flawless! Everything was top notch. We recommend this establishment with our eyes closed.

09/11/2025: The food is utterly basic. They (still) think that "balsamic" cream or sesame seeds on a steak make it "fancy." Disgraceful! Potatoes in every imaginable sauce, because there are no vegetables.

02/11/2025: Friendly and very welcoming service. The cappuccino is excellent. The seats under the veranda offer a beautiful sea view.
