The welcome is warm, with a smile and a touch of humor from the waitress, ensuring a pleasant experience. The owner comes by to refill glasses, a welcome gesture that other establishments don't offer.

08/03/2026: As a regular customer, I was happy to introduce it to my friends and family. What a disappointment! We couldn't eat at the same time; the dishes arrived one after the other with several minutes in between. We were served a skate wing that turned out to be pollock without being told. We left before dessert. Furthermore, a customer smoked several cigarettes without the owner, who was present, intervening. I will never return.

27/09/2025: €20 for a burata salad, hard tomatoes, not much to eat. 3 stars for all, the young woman who served us was a bit overwhelmed. Too bad. It's been a long time since I've been back to the Côte Bleue, sad.

However, if you value silence, you might be disappointed to hear the water pressure from the other rooms. Otherwise, the receptionist was very welcoming. The restaurant was very cozy with a sea view.

15/12/2025: This Léon de Bruxelles in the northern part of Auxerre is typical of the chain: you go there without any surprises, but you know you'll get a decent meal. The menu is, of course, focused on seafood, but offers a few options if you don't like fish. I tried the Léon Casserole, which was good, although the amount of fish was a bit small and probably frozen. Be careful with the garnish: although it says sweet potatoes, it's mostly potatoes (about 80%). The paella was okay, but it's more of a French-style paella, nothing exceptional, and the rice used isn't ideal for this dish. Note that the drinks are quite expensive. Overall: It's a reliable restaurant for a quick meal if you're not looking for anything original. A decent choice.

12/11/2025: Passing through on the Velodyssee, this was a wonderful stop. The room was very pleasant, the breakfast excellent, and a special mention goes to the very well-equipped bike storage area. Thank you for this stay.

09/08/2025: Very pleasant terrace, the oysters, shrimp, whelks and pâté are excellent. Christine and Rémi give us a warm welcome. We spend a pleasant time on their terrace. To be consumed without moderation.

02/07/2025: This place has become truly pathetic, it's crazy. The waitress drops buckets of mussel shells on the table and floor. It's frenzied madness. She doesn't care. She cleans up two-thirds or three-quarters of them and leaves, leaving empty shells on the table until dessert without paying attention. This should be avoided since it's no longer called "Léon de Bruxelles. WARNING!!!!" It's just "Léon." Don't confuse them. It's completely different (especially the all-you-can-eat raw vegetable buffet, which has been removed to make way for mozzarella sticks in a €19.90 starter-main course or main course-dessert menu without coffee). There's much less choice, and the staff and restaurant management aren't up to par. It's ridiculous.
