02/07/2026: My wife and I went there for our wedding anniversary because we love octopus. We weren't disappointed; the octopus and squid were cooked to perfection, served in generous portions, and reasonably priced. The rum baba lives up to its reputation—it's simply the best we've ever had, and it's enormous. The service was impeccable, and thank you for the thoughtful touch with dessert. We have a great spot for octopus near our home, and that's a sure sign we'll be back very soon!

12/08/2026: It was my 70th birthday and so it was a very enjoyable occasion. if you are looking for areas to improve the attentiveness of the staff for our dinner on 9th august could have been better but we had a lovely time and this is not a complaint.

28/09/2026: ⭐ 1 star Terrible dining experience, a total waste of money. When I arrived, no one greeted me inside. I went to the outdoor area where staff were standing to order. An older waiter spoke to me in a harsh tone, saying I had to sit down first before ordering. I came here because I saw online reviews and the entrance mentioned Chinese menus, but I was told only English menus were available. After sitting down, I waved many times to get attention, but no staff came for a long time. Finally the older waiter came. I showed him my French note with my order, yet he was dismissive and barely glanced at it. I had to repeat my order several times. His tone was unfriendly, and he muttered something negative in French. Mid-meal, I asked a tattooed male server for more water. He gave me a cold look. Even though he left a bottle on my table, his attitude was unpleasant. After finishing my meal, I checked the bill and tried to call staff to pay by card. A female server heard me clearly but ignored me and walked Away. The older waiter came later, muttered in French again, and did not help with payment. Only the tattooed man came to process my card. I spent around 360 RMB for one person. The food was acceptable, but the whole team was rude and disrespectful to customers. I strongly advise tourists to avoid this restaurant. ⭐One-star review This dining experience was extremely poor; it was purely a waste of money to suffer. Upon entering, there was no one to greet me indoors. I went to the outdoor server area to order, where an older server was rude and told me I had to be seated before ordering. I saw a Chinese menu at the entrance and in online reviews, so I inquired, only to be told there was only an English menu. After being seated, I repeatedly waved for a server, but no one responded for a long time until this older server came. I prepared a slip of paper with the dishes written on it in French for him to order, but he was perfunctory and unwilling to read it carefully; I had to repeatedly confirm the dishes. During this process, his tone was very unfriendly, and he muttered in French, which sounded like a negative review. During the meal, I wanted to refill my water bottle. I approached a male waiter with tattoos; he was indifferent and, although he eventually placed a bottle on the table, his attitude was consistently poor. After finishing my meal, I checked the bill and prepared to pay by card. I waved for a waiter, but the female waitress, despite clearly hearing me, pretended not to see me and walked away. Later, an older waiter came and mumbled something in French, but didn't come to swipe my card. Finally, the male waiter came to complete the payment. The total cost for one person was approximately 360 RMB. À la fin du repas, Après avoir vérifé l’addition, j’ai essayé d’appeler le personnel pour payer par carte. Une serveuse m’a clairement entendu mais m’a ignoré et est partie. Quiet venu pour la transaction. It’s a great place to stay for 360 yuan. It’s a no-brainer, it’s a great place to be, it’s irresponsible and it’s clients. It’s a great restaurant for tourists.

30/05/2026: On May 30, 2026, we discovered the Anne de Bretagne restaurant. Our children had treated us to the four-course meal. It was the very first time my wife and I had ever dined at a Michelin-starred restaurant. It was a truly fabulous and delightful experience. The staff was attentive and took great pleasure in explaining the chef's menu. We will definitely be back.

19/09/2026: I highly recommend the dishes on the daily specials board; I've never been disappointed! That day, I had "hake fillet with Nantaise sauce and Madagascar vanilla." I also recommend the clams as a starter. They were so good I practically licked the plate clean. And the famous profiteroles—I loved the slivered almonds on top! 😉 I didn't even feel like brushing my teeth because the delicious flavors were so wonderful.
